Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV2 Campground Introduce
For local users in the Monroe, Washington area, and those searching under the category "camping near me" with a focus on RV accommodations, the Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV2 Campground offers a convenient and spacious option. Located at 18310 Cascade View Dr, Monroe, WA 98272, USA, this campground provides large RV sites with essential amenities. You can reach them at (425) 388-6600 or their mobile number +1 425-388-6600 for inquiries and information.
The environment of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV2 Campground is primarily functional, situated within the grounds of the Evergreen State Fair. While not a traditional natural wilderness setting, its location offers easy access to the various events and activities held at the fairgrounds throughout the year. The review mentions a neighboring racetrack, indicating that the surrounding area might experience some noise related to events. However, for those attending events at the fairgrounds or seeking a convenient and spacious RV site in the Monroe area, this location provides a practical base.
According to a recent visitor, the campground is slightly tucked away from the main road, requiring a specific entrance separate from the RV1 park which is designated for equestrian use. It's advisable to consult the website for precise directions to avoid any initial confusion. Upon arrival, guests can expect to be greeted by a "friendly camp host," suggesting a welcoming and helpful on-site presence. The review also highlights the availability of sites without a prior reservation, although it's always recommended to book in advance, especially during peak seasons or major fairground events.
One of the key features emphasized by a guest is the size of the RV sites, described as "huge!" This is a significant advantage for RV travelers, offering ample space for maneuvering and setting up. The powered sites are priced at $35 per night (as per the review) and include access to a water tap at each site. This provides essential utilities for RV living. In terms of other services, the campground offers access to "2 porta-loos" and, importantly, a "shower block," providing necessary hygiene facilities for guests. While the number of shower units isn't specified, the availability of a shower block is a valuable amenity for RV campers.
The location within the Evergreen State Fairgrounds offers a unique feature: proximity to various events. The review mentions attending the "Oddmall holiday emporium event," which was held at the fairgrounds and featured a wide array of vendors, particularly local artists and craftspeople from the Northwest. This indicates that the RV2 Campground can serve as convenient accommodation for those attending such events. The scale of the Oddmall event, with around 150 vendors, suggests that the fairgrounds host significant local gatherings that might be of interest to campers staying at the RV2 Campground.
Furthermore, the mention of a "racing event on the Saturday night at the neighbouring race track" provides additional context about the local environment and potential entertainment options. While the noise from such events might be a consideration for some, for others, it could be an added element of local activity and interest. The fact that the reviewer found it "fun to see the cars stream in" suggests that the racetrack activity might be a point of interest for some visitors.
In terms of promotional information, the positive review itself serves as a strong recommendation, with the guest stating, "Would recommend!" The key selling points highlighted are the friendly camp host, the large and powered sites with water access, and the availability of a shower block. The convenience of being located within the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, providing easy access to events held there, is another significant advantage for those attending these gatherings. The pricing of $35 per night for a powered site (as mentioned in the review) offers a concrete piece of information for budget-conscious travelers.
For local users searching for "camping near me" who own RVs and are looking for spacious sites with essential hookups in the Monroe area, the Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV2 Campground presents a practical choice. Its proximity to the fairgrounds makes it an ideal base for attending various events, from craft fairs to races. While the environment is not a secluded natural setting, the functionality and convenience of the large sites and available amenities, coupled with the friendly service reported by a visitor, make it a recommended option for RV travelers in the region.

Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV2 Campground Reviews
Evergreen fairground RV2 park was a great stay!Initially we went to the wrong entrance (RV1) park for equestrian use, but then found the address on the website. It was tucked away a little down the road on the left. We were greeted by the friendly camp host and paid cash for 2 nights! ( we did not have a reservation). There were plenty of spots free. The sites are huge! We paid 35 a night for a powered site. Also a water tap. There are 2 porta-loos, and we also got access to a shower block! There was a racing event on the Saturday night at the neighbouring race track and it was fun to see the cars stream in! Would recommend!
Jul 28, 2024 · AndrewWent yesterday to check out the Oddmall holiday emporium event. It for the most part was pretty good. Lots of unusual Christmas themed gifts as well as merchandise in general. Seems to be a good venue for local artist and craftspeople from around the north west. I was surprised at the scale of the event. Looked to be around 150 different venders turned out for this years show.
Nov 12, 2023 · Daren GouldingTypical fairgrounds camping on a large gravel lot with water and electric hookups. No picnic tables or fire rings. Bathroom and showers with keypad entry are available adjacent to the campground for no additional fee. Full hookups were $35 per night in 2023. The on-site host was very pleasant and helpful. With a location that is perfect for those passing through or anyone attending an event at the fairgrounds, this is a convenient and economical overnight option that will easily accomodate any size rig.
May 17, 2023 · Ben BrannonIt's a good place if you are looking for a safe place to stay. There is water and power at each rv site and access to a dump station. Right next to the fairgrounds, so a good place to stay if you're a vendor for a fair or participating in a rodeo. It was $35 a night. If you make the reservation online, there is an $8 fee. I did not see restrooms, showers, or a playground anywhere near the rv sites. There are no campfires aloud. You can have pets as long as you clean up after yourself. There is no dumpster on site.
Jun 27, 2023 · Adam AndersonIt was a reasonable price of $35 a night for water and electric connections, and has a dump station extremely close. There are auto races on Friday and Saturday evenings until 11pm so it can get pretty noisy. Camp sites are extremely clean and generally it's really quite. You can only stay 7 days, but well worth it.
