Lake Connor Park, located at 14320 28th St NE, Lake Stevens, WA 98258, presents itself as a vibrant, family-friendly camping community. You can reach them at (425) 334-5055 or +1 425-334-5055 for more information.
Based on feedback from long-term visitors, Lake Connor Park fosters a welcoming atmosphere where families can create "wonderful, unforgettable, priceless memories." It's portrayed as a place where generations connect and enjoy time together. The park is described as a "refuge" from the outside world, offering a relaxing environment for those who embrace its community spirit.
One of the key features highlighted by reviewers is the park's family-oriented amenities. Younger children particularly enjoy the presence of pools, providing a refreshing way to spend warm days. The park also organizes fun activities like dances and even golf cart drive-in movies, adding a unique and entertaining element to the camping experience. These planned events contribute to the community feel and offer opportunities for social interaction among campers.
For those seeking relaxation, Lake Connor Park offers the tranquility of being out on the lake and the cozy ambiance of sitting around a fire pit. These simple pleasures are consistently mentioned as highlights by visitors. The natural beauty of the area is also appreciated, with one reviewer noting the "surreal" experience of seeing deer walking around the park. This suggests that despite being a community-focused environment, Lake Connor Park still retains elements of natural charm and wildlife encounters.
It's important to understand that Lake Connor Park appears to operate more like a seasonal or long-term camping community rather than a traditional short-stay campground. One reviewer mentions that their "other half has had a spot here for 16 years" and refers to "dues" being "very reasonable." This suggests a membership or long-term rental model for campsites within the park. Therefore, if you are looking for a weekend or short-term camping spot, it's advisable to contact Lake Connor Park directly to inquire about their availability and any short-term options they might offer.
The park is also described as being proactive in its development, with ongoing improvements being made over the years. This commitment to enhancing the facilities and the overall experience is a positive aspect for those considering becoming part of this community.
While the provided information doesn't detail the specific types of campsites available (e.g., RV hookups, tent sites), the emphasis on community and family-friendly activities suggests that the infrastructure caters to a range of camping preferences within a longer-term or membership framework.
In summary, Lake Connor Park offers a distinct camping experience centered around community and family engagement. Its key features include family-oriented amenities like pools, dances, and drive-in movies, opportunities for lakeside relaxation and campfires, and the potential for wildlife sightings. The mention of "dues" and long-term stays indicates that it functions more as a camping community with a membership or seasonal model. For local users searching for "camping near me" who value a strong sense of community, organized activities, and a family-friendly environment for potentially longer stays, Lake Connor Park could be an appealing option. It's recommended to contact them directly to understand their membership structure, availability for shorter stays (if any), and the specific amenities offered to members or short-term guests.
If you are interested in becoming part of a camping community where you can build lasting relationships and enjoy regular recreational activities with your family, Lake Connor Park seems to offer just that. The positive testimonials from long-term members highlight the welcoming atmosphere and the creation of cherished memories. Lake Connor Park Reviews
This is a family friendly camping community. Makes for a great place for a quick get away. Younger kids enjoy the pools, dances and golf cart drive in movies. Dues are very reasonable.
Apr 23, 2025 · Jeff EichnerMy other half has had a spot here for 16 years. I've been coming to the park for about 11 years now. Being out on the lake or sitting around the firepit is the most relaxing for me. Seeing deer walking around is still surreal for me. There are members in this park that are making wonderful, unforgettable, priceless memories with their families. Nothing beats that. Stay off the toxic facebook pages - too many untruths and just enjoy your site. The park is making improvements all the time. It has come a long way over the years, despite the outside world. It really can be a refuge if you let it.
Apr 02, 2023 · Jane CharnleyThis is my happy place! Once you drive thru the gate of LCP it's just so calming. The staff and caregivers work really hard to make this a magical getaway place. Plenty of activities for all or if you just want relaxation this is the place to be.
Jun 24, 2021 · Tina LopezI just caught my first fish (rainbow trout) since I was just a little kid. Played some poker with the neighbors. Saw 3 generations of geese hanging out.
May 31, 2023 · Death LemonsAlways a great time visiting friends and family at Lake Connor Park. Thank you for the safety of the park and the ability for my grandson to feel a Little bit of independence here, unlike out in the real world. He got to play with other kids and I didn't feel like he was in danger of any kind. That is quite honestly so important to me these days. I hope to buy in at some point for sure. Again thank you for providing a place we can all relax and feel comfortable.
