Four Seasons Campground Introduce
Are you searching for a campground in your local area that offers extensive riding trails and the option for a permanent campsite? Four Seasons Campground, located in West Finley, PA 15377, USA, presents itself as a destination with notable features for outdoor enthusiasts. Categorized under 'camping near me', this campground boasts a significant network of trails and appears to cater to those seeking longer-term camping arrangements. However, it's essential for potential visitors to consider all aspects of the available feedback, including reports of negative customer service experiences.
According to one positive review, the environment at Four Seasons Campground is conducive to a relaxing camping experience, and it is a place where families and friends enjoy having permanent campsites. This suggests that the campground offers a setting that appeals to those looking for a long-term outdoor community or a consistent getaway location. The mention of 35 miles of riding trails is a significant environmental and recreational feature, indicating that the area is likely scenic and offers ample opportunity for horseback riding, and potentially other activities such as hiking or biking, although the latter is not explicitly stated. The presence of these trails suggests a substantial property with varied terrain to explore.
In terms of services and features, the positive review highlights the presence of "everything you need to enjoy a relaxing campground experience." While the specifics of these services are not detailed, it's reasonable to assume that basic camping amenities are provided. These typically include designated campsites, water access, and some form of waste disposal. Given the mention of permanent campsites, it's also possible that these sites are equipped with more extensive hookups, such as electricity and sewage, although this is not explicitly confirmed. The primary feature appears to be the extensive network of 35 miles of riding trails, which is a significant draw for equestrians and potentially other outdoor enthusiasts.
However, a contrasting and concerning review presents a starkly different perspective on the campground's management and policies. This reviewer describes the owner as "very rude" and recounts an incident where they were nearly asked to leave due to a misunderstanding based on eavesdropped conversation and the owner's alleged hearing issues. This raises a red flag regarding customer service and the potential for negative interactions with the management. Furthermore, the same review details a frustrating attempt to book a single night's stay in mid-October. The campground reportedly refused this booking, claiming it was a holiday weekend (a Friday afternoon in October), and implying that leaving the site vacant was preferable to accepting a single night's revenue. The reviewer expresses strong dissatisfaction with the business practices, labeling it as poorly run and marking it as their first negative review among many.
The refusal to book a single night in mid-October, especially on a Friday, could be indicative of a policy that prioritizes longer stays or perhaps seasonal bookings. If mid-October is indeed considered a holiday weekend by the campground, this policy might be in line with maximizing occupancy during peak times. However, the lack of clarity and the perceived inflexibility, as described by the reviewer, led to a negative experience. Potential visitors looking for short overnight stays, particularly during shoulder seasons, might want to inquire specifically about the campground's booking policies for such periods.
The mention of "permanent campsites" suggests that a significant portion of the campground is dedicated to long-term residents. This could foster a sense of community among those with permanent sites, as mentioned in the positive review ("Our family and friends love having a permanent camp site's here"). However, it might also mean that availability for short-term or transient campers could be limited, or that certain policies are geared more towards the needs of long-term residents. If you are a local user looking for a permanent campsite, Four Seasons Campground might be a viable option to explore, given the positive feedback from those who have established themselves there.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the reviews. The positive review serves as an indirect promotion by highlighting the enjoyable experience of having a permanent campsite and the availability of riding trails. However, the negative review significantly counteracts this by raising serious concerns about the owner's rudeness and the restrictive booking policies. Potential local users will need to weigh these contrasting perspectives when considering Four Seasons Campground.
For local users searching for 'camping near me' with specific interests in riding trails and the possibility of a permanent campsite, Four Seasons Campground in West Finley, PA, offers these features. The 35 miles of trails are a significant asset for equestrians and potentially other outdoor enthusiasts. The option for a permanent campsite could appeal to those seeking a consistent long-term getaway. However, the negative review detailing issues with the owner's behavior and inflexible booking policies is a serious consideration. Potential visitors should be aware of these reported issues and might want to proceed with caution, perhaps by contacting the campground directly at (724) 428-4407 or +1 724-428-4407 to inquire about current policies, availability, and to get a sense of the management's approach before making a reservation.
In conclusion, Four Seasons Campground offers attractive features such as extensive riding trails and permanent campsite options, which could appeal to certain local users. The positive feedback from those with permanent sites suggests a welcoming community for long-term stays. However, the serious allegations of rude owner behavior and inflexible booking policies in another review cannot be ignored. Local users considering this campground should be aware of these mixed reports and are advised to seek further information directly from the campground to make an informed decision. The availability of 35 miles of riding trails is a unique selling point, but the overall camping experience will also depend heavily on the quality of customer service and the clarity of campground policies.

Four Seasons Campground Reviews
Our family and friends love having a permanent camp site's here at Four Seasons. They have 35 miles of riding trails and everything you need to enjoy a relaxing campground experience.
Apr 15, 2025 · James R PascarelliThe owner is very rude and almost kicked us out once because he has bad hearing and misundstood a conversation he was eavesdropping on. Today, we tried to book and they refused to book a single night in the middle of October. They claimed it was a holiday and decided no money was better than our money on a Friday afternoon. I've never seen a business ran so poorly. I give lots of reviews and thisis my first negative one.
Oct 07, 2022 · Marty LischnerVery nice place to visit and hang out with friends. The beds at the hotel are very uncomfortable need new mattresses
Aug 12, 2024 · Tony MusolinoEvery 30 feet there's massive speed bumps, the trails are okay but you cant carry any speed here. I am disappointed and wish I didn't pay for a yearly pass.If these speed bumps were removed it wouldn't be so bad, however they're everywhere and it's obviously intentional.
Jul 26, 2021 · Chris GWe have been there 6 or so weekends this summer. Love the place. The people are friendly, the pool is the cleanest public pool I’ve ever seen, the trails are well kept. My kids love going there
