Fox Hill RV Resort & Campground Reviews
We stay here at least once a year for a weekend or two. We stayed here in a travel trailer. Our site had electric/water/sewer and free wifi. The site itself felt a little tight only because next to us one night was a really big rig. We are talking 200K+ motor home. I think its size just really made our site seem small. In all seriousness the site was fairly level. The kid park was large and had stuff for all ages including swings, playground equipment, volleyball court, and basketball court. In the park was a nice shelter if you were camping with a group and wanted to eat together. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Every time we stopped in the camp store they were welcoming. Check in was easy as walking in and letting them know who we were. They also have other things to do on site like giant chess, giant checkers, ladder ball, and a disc golf course. We played the disc golf course twice and it was pretty fun. They have a couple nature trails on site. If you are into golf the campground is right next to a golf course. If you want to gamble you only have to go less than a mile to be at a casino. The bathrooms/showers were clean and the water was warm. I mentioned the camp store which has a fair amount of items in it. From camping gear to toys, to food items. Our site also had nice tree coverage and was in the shade most of the day.
Mar 28, 2025 · Jason SchulteOur camp site was as expected. Looks like they recently poured a few concrete slabs. We had one. It was level and worked out well for us. We were there at the end of April. Not many people there. Looks like it could get very busy. Very large campground. We did not interact with any staff. Envelope was at the door for us.
Apr 30, 2025 · Jane WarrenWe love Fox Hill! This will be our 10th year. The owners take great care of the property and have been adding new features while maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere.
Jan 17, 2025 · Mark CrutchfieldIt was our first time staying at this campground but it won’t be our last. We loved it. I only wish we had our granddaughters with us, they would have had so much fun. We enjoyed the pool and the bar very much. The staff was very friendly, bathrooms were clean, pool was clean and temperature was good. It is close enough to activities but not too close. Overall it was a nice relaxing visit.
Jun 30, 2024 · Rhonda CardotStay here for a 3 day weekend and had a great time. The pool is small but heated and the pond has a fun slide and inflatables. The common areas were clean and well kept. The only downfall that we noticed were the very tight stalls in the bathrooms and 99% of the time the bathrooms are absolutely DISGUSTING!!!) OVERALL we had a very nice weekend away and if you come here you need to try the Smoked OLD Fashioned! It was absolutely delicious 😋
