Fremont RV Campground Introduce
For local users in Wisconsin searching under the platform category "camping near me," Fremont RV Campground, located at E 6506 WI-110, Fremont, WI 54940, USA, presents itself as a potential option for RV camping and cabin rentals. However, recent customer reviews raise significant concerns regarding the functionality of amenities and the quality of accommodations, which local users should carefully consider when making their camping plans.
Based on the limited information about the environment directly surrounding the campground, it is challenging to provide a detailed description. The address indicates a location along Wisconsin Highway 110, suggesting it may be easily accessible by road. However, the reviews do not offer insights into the natural setting, such as wooded areas, proximity to water bodies, or the overall scenic quality of the campground. Local users prioritizing a specific type of natural environment for their camping experience will need to seek additional information from other sources or potentially visit the location to assess its surroundings.
The services and features at Fremont RV Campground, as described by recent visitors, appear to have significant shortcomings. One reviewer who stayed in cabins reported a series of issues, beginning with a non-functional stove in the first cabin they were assigned. Subsequently, they were moved to another cabin where the carbon monoxide detector was malfunctioning. This raises serious concerns about the basic functionality and safety of the cabin accommodations. Furthermore, this reviewer reported a lack of a promised refund check, even after communication with the company, indicating potential issues with customer service and financial transactions.
Another reviewer, who stayed for three nights while attending an event in Oshkosh, highlighted the unavailability of a crucial amenity: the laundry facilities. According to this guest, the laundry was "closed down and appeared to have been closed for quite some time," with a permanent sign directing campers to a laundromat several miles away. This lack of on-site laundry could be a significant inconvenience for campers, especially those on longer trips or attending events that require clean clothing. This reviewer also noted issues with the showers, stating that a "worn-out shower head sprayed water over the partition and got his clothes wet," leading to discomfort and the inability to dry clothes at the campground due to a prohibition on clotheslines.
Additional concerns were raised regarding the operational hours and status of other advertised amenities. The pool was reportedly closed for a total of seven hours per day, with only seven hours of open access. The waterslide was also noted as "closed down" and not appearing to be under repair. The reviewer explicitly criticized the owners for advertising and charging for amenities that were not fully operational, suggesting a potential discrepancy between the campground's offerings and the actual experience of guests.
The negative experiences shared in these recent reviews do not provide a basis for highlighting any positive features or services at Fremont RV Campground. The focus of the feedback is on malfunctioning accommodations and unavailable or restricted amenities, which are critical aspects of a comfortable and convenient camping experience for local users. The lack of response to a customer's refund request also points to potential issues with customer service and communication.
Currently, there is no positive information or mention of any promotional offers for Fremont RV Campground in the provided reviews. The feedback is overwhelmingly negative, centered on unresolved issues with accommodations and non-operational or poorly managed amenities. Therefore, it is not possible to present any promotional aspects based on this information. Local users should be aware of these reported issues when considering this campground.
Given the serious nature of the complaints, particularly regarding safety (carbon monoxide detector) and unresolved financial matters (refund), local users are strongly advised to exercise caution and seek further information from more recent and diverse sources before making a reservation at Fremont RV Campground. Contacting the campground directly to inquire about the current status of the cabins, laundry facilities, pool, and waterslide, as well as their refund policy and customer service protocols, would be a prudent step. It would also be beneficial to look for reviews on other platforms to gain a broader perspective on the experiences of recent visitors.
In conclusion, while Fremont RV Campground is located near Fremont, Wisconsin, and offers RV sites and cabin rentals, recent customer reviews indicate significant problems with the functionality and safety of the accommodations and the availability and management of advertised amenities such as laundry, the pool, and the waterslide. The lack of a timely refund to a dissatisfied customer also raises concerns about customer service. Local users searching for "camping near me" should carefully weigh these negative experiences and conduct thorough additional research to determine if this campground currently meets their needs and expectations for a comfortable and reliable camping experience. The issues raised suggest that improvements may be necessary for Fremont RV Campground to provide a satisfactory stay for its guests.

Fremont RV Campground Reviews
We stayed here in June 2024 and were supposed to receive a refund check due to our stay being absolutely horrible. Stove didn’t work in the first cabin. Then the next cabin carbon monoxide detector was going off. Unfortunately we still have no received the refund check even with communication to the company. You should be sending the check with a fedex tracking number so both parties know when and where the check is. Please respond to my emails.
Nov 09, 2024 · Google ReviewerWe stayed here 3 nights while attending the air show at Osh Kosh. The only amenity, besides the showers, that we really needed, was the laundry. It was closed down and appeared to have been closed for quite some time because there was a permanent looking sign telling of a laundromat in town, several miles away. My husband used the shower, and the worn-out shower head sprayed water over the partition and got his clothes wet. He had to wear the wet clothes back to the rv and change. No clotheslines are allowed, although they are everywhere, and no laundry, so we had wet clothes to deal with. The pool closed at 7:00 pm and was closed for an hour during the day for a total of 7 open hours a day. The waterslide was closed down, and it didn't look like it was being repaired. If the owners are going to advertise and charge for these amenities, they need to get them operational.
Nov 26, 2024 · Donna HoffmanThis was another sleep stop in Sep 2024 as we make our way to Mackinaw MI. We had to disconnect the car because we had a back-in campsite. As it was at Pine Country, this Thousand Trails campground was mostly empty except for the large number of people with seasonal or annual campsites. At least 1/3 of the spaces occupied by permanent residents. Again, no staff on duty (we picked up our reservation materials in a packet at the office) and no amenities open. This is one of the first Thousand Trail campgrounds we’ve been to that is not gated - anyone can enter & drive through. The laundromat was closed, store was closed, and office was closed, even though Thousand Trails says they are open until 10/16. Open to camp, but no staff or services. I did finally find the one bathroom/shower room that was open, on the other side of the campground. Throughout the park they mostly have outhouses. They desperately need to trim the trees, which screeched over our roof getting to and from our site. There was some road noise from the freeway, but that was drowned out by the geese and ducks on Tadpole pond. One end of the park is next to 900-acre Partridge Lake which appears to be a popular boating & fishing lake. Our site was acceptable at best. Not very level, the electricity cut out once when the A/C was running. The water pipe worked, but had been backed into and was bent at 45°. There was no septic hookup. On a positive note it was shaded by the trees and we had a peekaboo view of the pond. There was a picnic table & fire pit, but it was too warm for a campfire. They do have nice amenities in season. The pool has a huge water slide, there are several playgrounds, a bouncing feature, gold panning feature, and a game room (the only place open). Some of the sites in the lake have boat slips. This would be a nice destination vacation with kiddos. However, there is not much of anything nearby. We drove into the little town of Weyauwega to check out the brewpub - only to find that they don’t brew beer. They have it on tap (all FOUR taps). 🤦🏼♀️ We did pick up some Wisconsin cheese curds and had a frozen custard.I probably wouldn’t return to this campground unless it was summer and we had our grandkids with us.
Oct 01, 2024 · Deb B.Been here a few times when it was jellystone, and we really enjoyed it. Never been to a campground where the pool closes at 7:00 everyday. And the gig draw for the kids was the waterslide that was closed all weekend. It’s a great campground but would choose a different campground based on the pool. My kids favorite thing to do is swim. While asked the staff he was super attentive and he said he’d look into keeping it open longer in the future. I’d be back if they do extend hours.
Aug 18, 2024 · CHRIS EliasWe stay in this camp for a couple days over the Fourth of July weekend. It was not crowded at all and my experience was very nice and peaceful. I am coming from Illinois and the only downside is that there is no mayor Expressway around it. I have never stayed in a cabin before I didn’t know that the trash is selve served, but now I know. The lake is nice and he has a branch into a bigger lake for all those that like boating and fish.
