Beautiful, quiet little spot. Creek runs right through and is very pleasant to listen to as you fall asleep at night. Great view of the Sierras. Facilities are nice and clean, as much as vault toilets can be at least. Very close to Independence so very simply to do runs from camp to the store. And only 5 minutes or so from Oak Creek Dispensary 🍁
Apr 11, 2022 · Samuel McHaddadCool campground. There are restrooms and drinking water, fire rings and seating places provided, no shower. We have seen, that the gast station close by hast showers to use, we haven't tried them. There is a small river flowing through the campground, awesome for a refreshing shower, but cold ;)14$ per campground. Awesome view surrounds the campground.
Aug 20, 2017 · Christoph ScharfQuaint little campgrounds. Close to town for supplies. Pretty quiet during the week but weekends can get busy. Vault toilets dumpsters and there is water at half of the sites. Trees along the river act as a windbreak. Not all sites have shade. There are picnic tables and fire ring or BBQ stands at each site. The river drowns out most noises. Dogs okay on a leash. No on-site host but someone comes by everyday to check the bathrooms and trash.
May 22, 2021 · Lester WaltersGreat spot with a view of the mountains on the tent side. Not a lot of people for a Friday night which was nice. The stream is a medium level of noise but very soothing. Better than expected
Jul 25, 2021 · Silvia FernstromVery little shade. Tons of broken glass throughout the campground. Has 2 nice creeks and a couple of trails but no info posted about them. There is water and pit toilets available.
