Indian Springs Campground LLP Introduce
For local users searching for "camping near me" in the North Bend, Ohio area, Indian Springs Campground LLP, located at 3306 State Line Rd, North Bend, OH 45052, USA, presents a camping option that, based on recent customer reviews, has both convenient aspects and areas that potential visitors should be aware of. The reviews highlight issues related to billing, electricity, and customer service, alongside its accessibility. Let's examine the environment, services, and features based on the provided feedback.
The environment of Indian Springs Campground LLP is described by one reviewer as being located "right on the interstate." This offers the advantage of being "easy to get to" but comes with the significant drawback of constant noise, as the reviewer noted, "You can see and hear the cars and semi all night!" This suggests that while the campground might be conveniently located for travelers, it may not offer a peaceful and quiet natural setting that some campers seek. The proximity to a major highway is a crucial environmental factor to consider for those sensitive to noise.
In terms of services, the reviews provide insights into the campground's billing practices and response to issues. One long-term camper who had stayed for several years reported a significant problem with the billing of their electric bill. They stated that the office did not proactively communicate the amount due, and despite multiple attempts to contact them, they were only informed of the total (including late fees) after the due date. This resulted in a demand for immediate payment and a threat of towing despite having paid the next month's rent and having a deposit. This suggests potential issues with communication regarding utility billing and a rigid approach to late payments. Another reviewer experienced an electricity outage due to a storm (acknowledged as not the campground's fault) but reported that there was "no one at the office during the outage." Furthermore, they described the staff as "so rude" when inquiring about a partial refund for the nights without electricity and reported difficulty in getting a callback.
Features of the campground that can be inferred from the reviews are the availability of electricity hookups (a point of contention in both reviews) and presumably sites suitable for campers, given the mention of moving a camper. The reference to an "office" and an "answering machine" indicates a point of contact, although the accessibility and responsiveness appear to be problematic based on the feedback. The existence of a "Dropbox" suggests a method for payments or communications outside of office hours, but the first reviewer's experience indicates that this did not prevent billing issues.
Promotional information is absent from the provided reviews. Instead, the feedback focuses on negative experiences related to administrative processes and customer service. Therefore, based solely on this information, there is no positive promotional content to highlight.
For local users searching for "camping near me," Indian Springs Campground LLP offers accessibility due to its location on the interstate. However, potential visitors should be aware of the significant concerns raised in the reviews regarding billing practices, the lack of on-site management during an electricity outage, and reports of rude customer service. The constant noise from the interstate is also a major environmental factor to consider.
Given these issues, local campers might want to weigh the convenience of the location against the potential for administrative and service-related problems, as well as the noise level. It would be prudent to seek more recent reviews or potentially contact the campground directly to inquire about their current policies and management practices before making a decision.
To get more information, local users can try contacting Indian Springs Campground LLP at (513) 353-9244 or +1 513-353-9244. When calling, it might be wise to ask specifically about their procedures for utility billing, their after-hours contact information in case of issues, and their policies regarding refunds or accommodations for service disruptions. Understanding these aspects could help potential campers make a more informed choice.
In conclusion, Indian Springs Campground LLP near North Bend, OH, offers easy access from the interstate, but the recent customer reviews raise concerns about billing communication, responsiveness during service outages, and customer service demeanor. The constant noise from the highway is also a significant environmental factor. Local users looking for "camping near me" should carefully consider these points before choosing this campground.

Indian Springs Campground LLP Reviews
I have stayed here 3 times over the last 3 years. Never had a problem, till this year. The office did not call me or email the amount of the electric bill THEY calculate that is supposed to be paid on the first of each month with the rent for the month. I called five different times left voicemail on the answering machine. I'm at work during their office hours, they have a Dropbox. Finally they called me back on the 3rd wanting me to pay $50 late fees and $122 electric, I kept saying "I kept calling for the electric bill total and no one called and told the amount. She said we don't call people, when you come into pay that's when we tell you. They had our check for the next month, plus a $300 deposit when we checked in, minus the late fees and told us to move our camper or it was being towed, on the phone by Tim . I guess you're supposed to miss work to go during office hours (which was NEVER the case in previous years) or be psychic about the electric bill amount. Camper beware, especially if you're camping because of work.
Apr 04, 2025 · Angela RojekWe had 4 nights booked but electricity for only 1 night. The electricity was out due to a storm no fault of the their own. We left after 48 hours hoping it would come on. There was no one at the office during the outage. I called as soon as we got home. The lady I spoke with so rude. I simply asked could we have 1 night refund out of 4- doesn't hurt to ask right??? Apparently it does she was just so rude about it and said call later. We tried calling back no answer.Campground is easy to get to but sits right on the interstate. You can see and hear the cars and semi all night!

Jan 29, 2025 · Sadie SprinkleNice, quiet, & clean campground. Convenient access from highway. Have several pull thru sites which is perfect for us since it is a stay over for long trips. Staff is very pleasant. We liked it so much we choose it when our trip takes us in that direction.
