Just In Time Campground Introduce
For those searching within the 'camping near me' category in the Ithaca, Michigan area, Just In Time Campground, located at 8421 E Pierce Rd, Ithaca, MI 48847, USA, is an option to consider. The campground can be contacted via phone at (989) 875-2865 or mobile phone +1 989-875-2865. However, it is crucial to approach this campground with caution and conduct thorough due diligence based on recent and concerning customer reviews. These reviews highlight significant issues related to noise levels, cleanliness of facilities, and the campground's understanding of electrical requirements for campers.
The environment of Just In Time Campground is not explicitly described in the provided reviews, but its rural address in Ithaca, Michigan, suggests a setting that is likely less urbanized and potentially surrounded by natural landscapes typical of the region. Ithaca is located in central Michigan, an area known for its agricultural land and smaller towns. One might expect a relatively flat terrain with a mix of open fields and wooded areas. However, the reviews focus heavily on operational and facility-related problems rather than the natural surroundings, indicating that these aspects significantly impacted the campers' experiences.
The services and facilities at Just In Time Campground, based on the provided reviews, appear to be areas of significant concern. One reviewer recounted a stay where a DJ played loud music until midnight, despite a stated quiet time of 10 pm at check-in. This indicates a potential disregard for campground rules and a lack of enforcement regarding noise levels, which could severely impact the peaceful enjoyment of other campers. Furthermore, this reviewer described extremely unsanitary conditions in the outhouse, including human feces on the floor and a strong odor. Despite reporting this to the staff, no action was apparently taken. The main bathrooms were also described as "disgusting," suggesting a general lack of cleanliness in the campground's sanitation facilities.
Another critical issue raised by a reviewer pertains to the campground's understanding and provision of electrical hook-ups for campers. This guest reported that they specifically required a 130-volt electrical connection for their camper but were placed on a 110-volt service. Upon testing, the electrical outlet was found to have reverse polarity, a potentially dangerous condition that could damage RV equipment. As a result, this reviewer was unable to camp at Just In Time Campground and had to leave. This incident suggests a lack of knowledge or attention to detail regarding the electrical needs of different types of campers, which is a fundamental service for any campground catering to RVs.
In addition to the noise and electrical issues, the first reviewer also noted the presence of trash in the fire rings at their campsite and two adjacent sites. This further points to a lack of basic maintenance and upkeep of the camping areas. The reviewer's statement that they "would have felt safer and gotten a better nights sleep at a rest area" is a damning indictment of their experience and underscores the severity of the problems encountered.
Given these overwhelmingly negative reviews, it is extremely difficult to identify any positive features of Just In Time Campground based solely on this information. The issues raised are fundamental to a positive camping experience: peace and quiet during designated hours, clean and sanitary facilities, and the proper functioning of essential utilities like electrical hook-ups. The reviews suggest significant failures in these areas.
Due to the serious nature of the complaints regarding noise, unsanitary conditions, and potentially hazardous electrical issues, it would be irresponsible to offer any positive promotional information for Just In Time Campground based on the provided data. Instead, any introduction for local users within the 'camping near me' category must serve as a cautionary overview of the potential problems highlighted by recent guests. It is imperative for potential campers to be aware of these issues before making a reservation.
Prospective campers should consider contacting Just In Time Campground directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about the management's response to these negative reviews and any steps taken to address the concerns regarding noise control, cleanliness of facilities, and the provision of appropriate and safe electrical hook-ups. It would also be prudent to seek more recent reviews from other platforms to determine if the conditions have improved. The significant discrepancies between the expected standards of a campground and the experiences reported in these reviews warrant extreme caution.
In conclusion, while Just In Time Campground is located near Ithaca, MI, and might offer a rural setting, recent customer feedback raises serious concerns about the noise levels, cleanliness of the facilities (outhouses and main bathrooms), and the provision of safe and appropriate electrical hook-ups for campers. These issues significantly detract from the camping experience and suggest potential safety and comfort problems. Local users searching within the 'camping near me' category are strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution, conduct thorough inquiries, and seek more information before considering a stay at Just In Time Campground. The negative reviews highlight fundamental failures in campground management and maintenance that could lead to a highly unsatisfactory and potentially unpleasant camping experience.

Just In Time Campground Reviews
Stayed for one Friday night. Asked about quiet time at check in told 10 pm . DJ blasting music till midnight. Human feces on floor of outhouse that stunk. Told staff nothin done. Main bathrooms disgusting. Trash in fire rings in ours and two campsites next to us. I would have felt safer and gotten a better nights sleep at a rest area. Worst camping ever and I have been for years
Jul 02, 2024 · Eric HandauVery disappointed that they helped did not understand or know what kind of electricity we needed for our camper. They put us on a 110. We needed 130. We had to leave. We couldn't even camp there. When my husband tested it, it was reverse polarity. When you take a reservation, you should know what camper fits wear..

May 28, 2024 · Joshua ThibeauxThis campground is one of the best at which we have stayed. It is clean, well laid out, and has all the amenities a family with children would need. Lots ifnoay area and all the playground equipment kids would need. Alao, there is a nice lake with swimming and pontoon boats. It has a very convenient dump station and sells propane on the property. Finally, the management is friendly, cooperative, and non-intrusive. Try this place. You will like it and come back again. We will.
