Kenisee's Grand River Camp & Canoe Introduce
For local users seeking "camping near me" in the Geneva, Ohio area, Kenisee's Grand River Camp & Canoe, located at 4680 OH-307, Geneva, OH 44041, USA, offers a camping experience with the added attraction of the Grand River and potential canoe activities. You can reach them at (440) 466-2320 or +1 440-466-2320. Based on recent customer feedback, this campground appears to be a predominantly seasonally owned camper location but also accommodates overnight and short-stay visitors with pull-through RV sites. However, it's important for prospective campers to be aware of some reported inconsistencies in online information and customer service experiences.
The environment surrounding Kenisee's Grand River Camp & Canoe is likely defined by its proximity to the Grand River. Rivers often offer scenic beauty and opportunities for various outdoor activities such as canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. The campground's name itself suggests a focus on river-related activities, potentially making it an attractive option for those seeking "camping near me" with an interest in paddling and enjoying the riverside environment. While the reviews don't explicitly detail the natural surroundings beyond the river's presence, campgrounds near rivers often benefit from natural landscapes and wildlife. The "lovely private campground" description from one reviewer hints at a potentially peaceful and secluded setting away from more crowded commercial campgrounds.
The services and features of Kenisee's Grand River Camp & Canoe seem to cater primarily to seasonal campers, but they do offer amenities for short-term visitors as well. According to one reviewer, the pull-through sites available for overnight or short stays are "full service," implying that they include essential hookups for RVs, such as water, electricity, and sewage. This is a significant convenience for RV travelers looking for "camping near me" with full amenities. The campground also appears to offer canoe rentals, aligning with its name and suggesting an opportunity for guests to enjoy the Grand River directly from the location. While one online advertisement reportedly mentions tent and RV equipped sites, a phone interaction described in a review contradicts this, indicating potential inaccuracies in their online presence. Therefore, it is advisable for tent campers to directly confirm if tent camping is currently offered and what amenities are available for tent sites.
Key features of Kenisee's Grand River Camp & Canoe, based on the available customer feedback, include:

- Reported Rude Customer Service: One reviewer described an unprofessional and rude interaction with the receptionist over the phone regarding the online advertisement. This raises concerns about the consistency and quality of customer service.
- Lack of Online Updates: The reviewer who experienced the rude customer service also suggested that the campground's online information could use updating due to a perceived lack of computer skills within the management. This could lead to further confusion for potential visitors relying on online resources.

Kenisee's Grand River Camp & Canoe Reviews
Very lovely private campground. Predominantly a seasonally owned camper location it does have several overnight/short stay pull through sites. Sites are full service (at least ours was). Our site wasn't level otherwise this would have been a solid 5 stars.
