Lake Gillette Campground Reviews
We had the most amazing time! I would recommend it for sure. Walks, fishing, swimming, a place to rent paddle boards, canoes, etc. On top of that the management team was so friendly, always wave hello, was never to busy to say a quick hi and talk for a min or answer questions. The campers the 9 days we were there changed a couple times but everyone was really nice and respectful. Very safe feeling and extremely welcoming. We had camp sight 4 which was perfect for us. I took some pics of the camp sight as well while I was there.
Jul 28, 2020 · Amanda EppersonBeautiful little lake that is connected to 4 lakes. Had some good bites fishing from my kayak, got a tiger trout up to the side and it flipped off! Low bank access and a nice boat launch and swim area.
Jul 29, 2021 · Dawn Belcherstayed for 2 nights and had a great time. when we showed up all the sites were reserved but the camp manager said we could stay in a site as long as we left before the reservation date. it's 27$ a night and the sign said they sell firewood. there was about 20 or more sites and only two other people camping at the beginning of the loop. we chose a site towards the back and had a restroom all to ourselves.
Jul 09, 2023 · Nova RayA great camping spot, wonderful hiking trails and swimming
Jul 07, 2020 · Samantha Katzler-MillerI love this camp ground. I've been camping here many times over the last 35 years and it is always great. This one is close to hiking, biking trails and to the water (within walking distance). The vault bathrooms are kept clean. It is totally dry camping. No hookups. There are no showers and there is no dump station. There us a resort across the lake that has everything you may need. The lake is clean. Deer meander through daily and there are chipmunks, squirrels, humming birds, and many other birds. There were 3 bear sightings while we were there this weekend but we didn't see them.
