Log Cabin Resort-Campground Reviews
Beautiful campground. It has everything you would want camping by a lake. The road going to the Lodge is a littlenarrow for a class a motorhome, but just be mindful. The only part I had was where the garbage cans were, a huge dumpster I could not reach unless climbing on. We will return because it was perfect little lake getaway.
Jun 08, 2024 · Penny BiallySTUNNING campsite! I just needed a last minute overnight stop, so only spent around 12 hours here but wish I had more time!! The views were stunning and I so badly wanted to go out on the lake! They’ve got a boat rental place right near the site that I wanted to use. I will be back when I have a chance to stay longer
May 26, 2023 · Rachel SiposLess than one star. They claimed not to have any tent sites, so charged us $70 to squeeze into a tiny camper trailer spot. Literally 5 feet from neighbor on one side, not much more on the other. Zero privacy. But they had a dozen empty spots on the other side of the campground. Oh, and don't choose this place for the amenities. Bathroom has one sole shower for women and another for men.... But bring your quarters like it's a 1995 soda machine, because each coin gets you 3 meager minutes of cold water. Better hurry, too, because there's a line. Oh, and need quarters? Out of luck after the office is closed for the day. After a long trip and ready for a good shower, no worse disappointment than digging through your bag desperately for a quarter. And then it runs out when your toddler has soap in his hair, screaming and trying to flee the water's icy horror. It's a joke to call this place a resort when most state parks are 10 times better
Jul 15, 2024 · A ChildersExcellent location and water access, and it's super quiet. The water is crystal clear, super cold and filled with 2 unique-to-the-lake species of trout (catch & release only). The A-frames are cool, but falling apart due to all the carpenter ants that will fill your room during the warmer seasons (you'll kill carpenter ants your whole visit) and the mouse that made its way in/out of our A-frame via the hole by the baseboard heater. Plenty of room, but they switched things on us by no longer giving access to the loft that all the photos online showed... not a huge deal, but c'mon... nice bathroom, plenty of parking and a picnic table outside your unit where you can cook, eat & relax.
Feb 26, 2024 · Gary DeBroI came to this for fishing around 07/16/2023. I was able to fish off of the pier as a visitor. I was able to catch my first fish at 7PM using a size 8 hook and trout bait. My first fish that I caught was a beardslee trout, which I released. It was a very memorable and happy night. The water was incredibly clear and clean. I hope to visit again in the future.
