Martin's Landing Campground Reviews
Good, simple, dry camp, camp ground, and cheap! We were the only ones there. Came in the dark, left at dawn, only other in the grounds was the camp host but didn't see them. It's not too far off the interstate either, but completely surrounded by rural which is just how I prefer it. I believe I spied a toilet building on the way out, but we didn't utilize it.
Nov 10, 2024 · TJ HansenCampground was closed, but past the campground was open to fish. There is a parking area and a vault toilet just ahead on the dirt road. I think camping in the walk in camp spots is limited to three days. Nice area to be at the confluence of the Boise River and the Snake River. Several campsites with trash cans, picnic tables and fire rings. Not much shade, but a beautiful spot.
Oct 23, 2023 · D DiasQuiet, not busy campground, not too far off the highway if just passing through. Bugs were awful down by the river, but not as bad up top. Signage and website were confusing because signs said to see camp host, but they weren’t there and the website said the same thing, but there was a fee box. Would’ve been easier to just direct people to the fee box on the sign and website. Minimal amenities. Bathroom was relatively clean considering the type of bathroom. Grills and fire pits at the site were fine. Visitors didn’t completely trash the site, but definitely little remnants of trash were left behind which kind of sucked.
Jul 11, 2022 · Nicole RowseyBeing at the junction of the Boise river flowing into the Snake River, this can be a fantastic place to fish, but not so much to camp on the river. Well-kept and established camping is available off of the river for those who hunt during the fall and winter months. On the river there are campsites, but they are not well maintained and the fire pits have all but been destroyed. Some have benches and most have tables. However, those who fish will enjoy both night and day fishing along the river for bass, trout, crappie, and sturgeon. Depending on the time of year much of the area can be flooded or filled with Mosquitos. The on-river areas are non-motorized separated by a gate. If you are fishing with a lot of gear, be prepared to lug it, from the gate to the end is about a 1/4 mile.
Jan 18, 2022 · Anna AbbottUnfortunately, I wasn't able to get a parking space, so I ended up going to the boat ramp, all in all, the place is great.
