This is a great place to bring kids and spend the day. There's a decent size parking area, sand beach, and swimming area with 2 docks, plus you can take a little swim out to one of two rafts. There's also a playground and partially enclosed area with picnic tables. There's also a few grills, so bring hot dogs, hamburgers, etc... to grill food and spend the day relaxing on the beach.

The surrounding area is beautiful and the town of Iron River is a nice place to shop and enjoy the small town atmosphere. The campsites were nice and well situated . Overall this is an excellent park to spend time sightseeing in the area.
