Pine View Campground Reviews
This place was amazing! My family and I love staying in the cabins. The camp host was friendly and helpful. He helped us with directions after we took a wrong turn. He also helped us get to our cabin. Recommended to have the riverfront if you get the chance to. My family and I are already talking about when we are going up there again.
Apr 28, 2025 · Jennifer HaysCamped there 2yrs ago and it was great. big sites that are level with trees for shade, plus you can hear taps and revelry daily from the Base going back this June to enjoy again.
Mar 20, 2025 · Dale DomanekAwesome campground! Have stayed many times for hunting, fishing, and just a weekend get away. It is located on an army base, so be aware - the training weekends can be loud.
Nov 27, 2024 · Chris PahlThis is a gem I wish I had known about sooner. We rented one of the log cabins for a last minute weekend with our grand daughters. They had a blast. The cabin was spotless. The staff was very pleasant , and answered all my questions after 6 phone calls. The paddle boards were a hit with the girls! The "lake" wasn't so clean. It has a lot of algae. Not what you call a swimming lake. The girls played most of the time on the shore. Hubby caught 2 nice trout and a small bluegill. All in all it was a great weekend. So glad the cabin had air conditioning, it was 95 degrees the weekend we went. We will definitely be back. Everything was very reasonably priced. We did make a quick trip to Ft. Mc Coy PX and commissary. The girls wanted to see a lady soldier. No luck that day, unfortunately!!! We will definitely be back. The only thing I would make a suggestion for the facility to do, update your paperwork you send out. It says you can check in at 2, we got there about 1:15. Then we're told check in wasn't til 3. They did end up letting us in about 2. Cabin was ready to go. Thank you for that. Kennedy was very accommodating about showing us the the pontoons for rental next time we go up. All in all a great experience!
Sep 06, 2024 · Jackie TulerAwesome campground. Just had our second annual family camp there. So much to do. So much space in between. Awesome staff, very helpful especially Marcus. There’s something for everyone. If you don’t have the right camping unit, no worries they’ve got you covered! Prices are reasonable. We highly recommend! Keep up the good work everyone we appreciate you! If all campgrounds could be this well kept and thoughtful fellow campers!Camped in a 39ft 5th wheel full hook up sightDropped a star….after 4 years, rental units are getting bad. No upkeep and falling apart, mice too. Front desk has changed. If you have your own rig you should be good.
