Point Pleasant Resort & Campgrounds Introduce
For local users seeking "camping near me," Point Pleasant Resort & Campgrounds, located at 463 Sheppard Cir, Madison Lake, MN 56063, USA, offers an option primarily catering to RV enthusiasts. You can reach them at (507) 243-3072 or via mobile at +1 507-243-3072. Based on the limited information available, this introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the campground, focusing on the environment and any discernible services and features.
The environment of Point Pleasant Resort & Campgrounds, based on one positive review, is described as "very quiet." This suggests a potentially peaceful and tranquil setting, which could be appealing to those looking for a relaxing getaway. The mention of "friendly people" indicates a welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere among the guests. However, it's important to note that this is based on a single positive comment. The address suggests a location near Madison Lake, implying potential access to lake-related activities and scenic views. The specific natural features of the campground itself, such as the terrain, vegetation, or proximity to wooded areas, are not detailed in the provided information. Therefore, prospective visitors may need to inquire directly or seek additional information from other sources to gain a comprehensive understanding of the physical environment.
In terms of services, the information available is limited. The positive review highlights the resort aspect, suggesting that it is primarily geared towards RV camping, potentially offering amenities and hookups suitable for recreational vehicles. These could typically include electrical, water, and sewage connections at the campsites. The negative review mentions issues with organization and bookkeeping, as well as charges for guests to visit, which might be relevant for those planning to have visitors during their stay. The same negative review also indicates a potential issue with site availability and turnover, as the new renter experienced delays in accessing their site. While the positive review mentions "friendly people," this speaks more to the social atmosphere than the formal services provided by the campground management. The lack of information regarding common campground amenities such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, recreational areas (like playgrounds or sports courts), or a camp store makes it difficult to provide a comprehensive overview of the services offered. Potential campers should directly contact Point Pleasant Resort & Campgrounds to inquire about the specific services and amenities available to guests.
The features of Point Pleasant Resort & Campgrounds are also not extensively detailed in the provided reviews. The description as an "RV resort" suggests that the primary feature is the provision of sites equipped for RVs. The quiet environment mentioned in one review could be considered a feature for those seeking a peaceful setting. However, the negative review points out potential organizational issues that could detract from the overall experience. The mention of charges for guests is a specific policy that prospective campers should be aware of. The delay in site availability for a new renter, as mentioned in the negative review, could be a potential drawback for those with specific timelines. Without further information, it is challenging to elaborate on other features such as the size and layout of the RV sites, the presence of any communal facilities, or unique aspects that distinguish this campground from others. Individuals interested in the specific features of Point Pleasant Resort & Campgrounds should seek more detailed information directly from the management.
Regarding promotional information, the provided reviews do not contain any details about current discounts, special offers, or seasonal packages. The information is limited to personal experiences, both positive and negative, regarding the stay and management. To obtain any information about promotions, pricing, or availability, it is essential to contact Point Pleasant Resort & Campgrounds directly at the provided phone numbers. Their website, if available, or any online booking platforms they might use could also provide details on rates and any ongoing offers. Given the mixed feedback, it would be prudent for potential campers to inquire about current policies, site availability procedures, and guest charges when making a reservation.
In conclusion, Point Pleasant Resort & Campgrounds in Madison Lake, MN, appears to be an RV-oriented campground that some visitors have found to be quiet and populated by friendly people. However, potential campers should be aware of reported issues concerning organization, bookkeeping, charges for guests, and potential delays in site availability. Due to the limited and somewhat conflicting information from the provided reviews, it is strongly recommended that local users searching for "camping near me" contact Point Pleasant Resort & Campgrounds directly to obtain comprehensive and up-to-date information about their environment, specific services and amenities offered for RVs, features, and any current promotional offers before making a decision. Gathering additional perspectives from other online sources might also be beneficial in forming a well-rounded understanding of what this campground offers.

Point Pleasant Resort & Campgrounds Reviews
This is a great RV resort. Very quite with friendly people.
Sep 03, 2017 · Aaron BahrWhat a joke for an owner. The organization and bookkeeping was terrible. Never knew what we owed or what we currently paid, and also charged for guests to visit. The previous renter of our sites didn’t have to pull his camper off the lot until we sent many messages. This was weeks into summer before we were able to start using the site.
