Rittenhouse Resort Reviews
The wife and I have a fair amount of camping experience however we recently bought our first camper. After. Quick Google search we learned Rittenhouse was only 7.9 miles from our house. We called them up. Explaining the camper was just purchased used, and waiting to test everything out. They were more than happy to help. Set us up for 1 night 35 bucks for electric and water. I wanted to test the tanks the pumps. Furnace and so on. Great experience, everyone was helpful. We are currently sitting here now. 2 nights this time, and have future nights reserved. Nice small private campgrounds..so you know...anyways looks for my pics and try this place out.An honest unpaid review.
Sep 19, 2021 · brian castleMy husband and I stayed at Rittenhouse Resort for three nights toward the end of May 2023. We reserved an electric/water available site for our little camper for two nights but added one more it was so nice. What a wonderful trip! This family-owned / family-run campground is a rare pleasure. The owners were onsite to check us in, guide us to a site, and then see us off upon leaving.Get this: we had not used and flushed the septic system in our "newish" camper yet, and did not know "how" to "dump" it, lol, but truly. **The owner HELPED US with the entire process!** If you know camping with a camper, you can guess the process of "dumping" is not the most glamorous duty to volunteer for -- yet he was there for us. So thankful for the help.A++ friendly folks, great family and family dog! GO THERE, you will be SO pleased. We WILL be back.
Jul 12, 2023 · Suzanne SharpeWonderful people running place, unfortunately the restroom showers were not working, only other minor flaw is the swimming area you have to pay daily for kids to swim and swim time closes at 5 weekdays and 6 weekends, I think far too early especially in the high heat and humidity. The people in charge had the swimming area closed on Sunday due to weather, but were kind enough to open it for my kids when they wanted to swim. The people running this place are awesome 👍😍👍 thank you for everything!!!
