Sep 11, 2024 · Manzoor AziziIn my opinion one of the best campsites! Great for small kids. There are toilets and few places to get water. River is so beautiful and if you want to refresh yourself you can jump straight in! Campsites are always clean and well maintained. We were there a lot of times and built so many great memories with family and friends. Campsites near the river are the greatest on my opinion because the sound of water is so relaxing! Highly recommend this place to people who loves to be in nature. There is a lot of hiking trails around too! If you like camping this place is for you!
Jul 18, 2022 · Aga Z.What a gem campground. Got here accidentally and w/o reservation on Sat night. Found available site FF (first come first serve). The cleanest campground I have been too. Thanks to the amazing host who puts clear messaging all over the place, everything is neat and well organized. The campground is tucked between two rivers. You could also go pick wild blueberries and blackberries. Or hiking. Or swimming. Or jumping into the water from the rock. Just don’t go to the Tuceila lake, it’s shallow. Cooper lake is the best choice and great views. The campsite size is huge. You could hardly hear your neighbors. Love it.
Aug 12, 2024 · Alla KhasbulatovSalmon la sac campground has alway been a great place to visit. But this year the camp hosts were not to friendly. They complained about our dogs numerous times. Our dogs never left our campsite let alone our sides. There were posted signs about bears and told to keep your stuff picked up yet the camp hosts area looked like they were hoarders. A bear entered a camp next to us and got into an ice chest. Another camp was screaming BEAR, honking their horn and setting off their car alarm. The bear was not frightened at all. No camp hosts to be seen. My husband was able to scare the bear away with a couple of gun shots. When the camp host came back hours later they called the sheriff on my husband. Just so they know the sheriff told him he had every right to scare the bear away due to the frightened/scared kids. The picture is of the camp hosts site.
Sep 08, 2024 · XrayjksLarge roomy sites, paved roads, and beautiful scenery. Store your food securely due to the bears that pass through the park. Great hiking and swimming. Very remote.
