Saukinac Campground Bar & Grill Reviews
My husband and I spent the weekend here for a wedding down the road. The owners and guests were some of the most amazing, friendly, people we have ever met! So much fun!! Highly recommend if you like to have a good time!!!
Jul 31, 2023 · Becky HaleWe had a great spot down by the lake. The food and drinks were excellent, and the conversation was even better!!
Oct 09, 2024 · Julie HamiltonPros- decent food, portions can be small though. There is a nice bar. Cons- dirty bathrooms they do not clean daily, clogged toilets, and gross showers that might as well be miles away. The drinking water isn't all that clean either. Theres better places but they usually always have sites available. So there's that... I've fought over 4 hours with management to get 35 bucks back because campsite is flooded. This place is decent but not ideal. Jeff would rather take you for everything rather than be a decent human being. Don't let him fool you.
Aug 21, 2021 · Matthew SheaGreat owners and very good food at the bar. Super pet friendly too. We had a very secluded site right near the lake that had water and elec. Not the most kid friendly place, the playground needs a make over. Full hook up sites are pretty bare but they are working on that. Decent prices.
Sep 11, 2017 · Lincoln TilsonThe site we were put in was awful, mostly sand and brush as the owner stated it was a new site but didn't have time to work on it. The site across from us was nice but it was the primitive ones which we looked at the green grass. We wanted to be somewhat close to the bathrooms which we were, however, the pipes the connect the sink were not connected and water ran out and there was no soap in the dispensers. We brought our 2 little dogs which we kept on a double leash at all times, which can't be said about the other campers there as we saw a few run loose one which came into our campsite and growled at us! I did let the owners know and he said he would take care of it, although, no follow up to us was made. We had our hopes up that our experience here would have been good as it is just the perfect amount of driving to from our home. I believe that this resort is catering more to its seasonal campers, and they tie up a lot of time at the bar and grill. Lesson I learned. . . Look at the campsite before you pay, it will tell the story!
