Sisters Creekside Campground Introduce
Are you searching for "camping near me" in the charming town of Sisters, Oregon? Sisters Creekside Campground, located at 504 S Locust St, Sisters, OR 97759, offers a blend of natural beauty and convenient access to the town's amenities. Based on recent customer reviews, this campground boasts level and wooded campsites, a pleasant creek, and friendly hosts, along with a short walk into town and access to a walking path. However, it's important to note potential drawbacks such as closely spaced campsites and issues with noise control.
One of the frequently praised aspects of Sisters Creekside Campground is its appealing natural setting. Reviewers describe the campsites as "level and wooded," suggesting a comfortable and shaded environment for tents or RVs. The presence of a "cute little creek" adds to the ambiance, providing a natural and potentially soothing element to the camping experience. For those seeking "camping near me" with a pleasant natural backdrop, Sisters Creekside Campground offers these desirable features.
The campground hosts also receive positive feedback for their demeanor. One reviewer described them as "extremely friendly and helpful," which can significantly enhance the overall camping experience. Friendly and helpful hosts can provide valuable information about the area and assist with any needs or concerns that campers may have. However, another reviewer noted that while the "Hosts were nice," they were "nowhere to be found when campground guests were very loud all night long." This discrepancy highlights a potential inconsistency in the level of active management or noise enforcement at the campground, which is an important factor for those prioritizing a peaceful night's sleep.
A significant advantage of Sisters Creekside Campground is its convenient location relative to the town of Sisters. Campers appreciate the "short walk into town," providing easy access to local shops, restaurants, and other attractions. This walkability offers a unique benefit, allowing campers to enjoy both a natural camping experience and the convenience of exploring a nearby town without the need for driving. Additionally, the campground is located along "a very nice walking path," offering opportunities for leisurely strolls and enjoying the surrounding area on foot.
Another positive aspect mentioned by a reviewer is that "The campground is clean." Cleanliness of facilities is a crucial factor for many campers, contributing to a more comfortable and hygienic stay. This suggests that the management makes an effort to maintain the campground's tidiness.
However, alongside these positive attributes, there are some notable drawbacks to consider. One reviewer pointed out that "the camp spots are so close together the group next to us was within 4 feet of our tent." This close proximity of campsites can impact privacy and the feeling of being immersed in nature. Campers seeking a more secluded "camping near me" experience might find the close quarters at Sisters Creekside Campground less appealing.
Furthermore, the issue of noise is a significant concern raised by one reviewer. They reported that campground guests were "very loud all night long" and that the hosts were not available to address the situation. This lack of noise control can severely detract from the camping experience, especially for those hoping for a quiet and restful night. The reviewer concluded that they "don't think I would recommend this site" and that it was "Definitely not my kind of camping & there's no way to get any good sleep." This strong negative feedback regarding noise is a crucial point for prospective campers to consider, particularly if they are sensitive to noise levels.
In summary, Sisters Creekside Campground offers a convenient location in Sisters, Oregon, with level and wooded campsites, access to a creek and a walking path, and friendly hosts. Its proximity to town is a significant advantage for those who appreciate being able to walk to local amenities. The campground is also reported to be clean. However, potential drawbacks include the close spacing of campsites, which can impact privacy, and reported issues with noise control, particularly at night, due to a lack of active host presence during such times. While one reviewer highly recommended the property after a short stay, another, who experienced a noisy night and close campsite proximity, would not recommend it.
For those considering Sisters Creekside Campground for their "camping near me" experience, it would be wise to weigh the benefits of its location and natural setting against the potential drawbacks of closely spaced sites and possible noise issues. If you value convenience and don't mind potentially being close to other campers, and if you are prepared for the possibility of noise, this campground might still be a viable option, especially given the positive remarks about the hosts and cleanliness. However, if you prioritize privacy and a guaranteed quiet night's sleep, you might want to explore other "camping near me" options in the Sisters area. It may also be beneficial to inquire with the campground management directly about their policies regarding campsite spacing and noise control to get a clearer understanding of what to expect.

Sisters Creekside Campground Reviews
We were only able to stay one night here, but it’s a wonderful place to stay. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Sites are level and wooded. Campground hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Short walk into town and along with a very nice walking path. Highly recommend this property.
Sep 14, 2024 · Lise DewsThe campground is clean and has a cute little creek. The Host's were nice but nowhere to be found when campground guests were very loud all night long. This campground is literally right in town and the camp spots are so close together the group next to us was within 4 feet of our tent. It worked for the weekend but I don't think I would recommend this site. Definitely not my kind of camping & there's no way to get any good sleep.
Sep 06, 2024 · Kristine GoodmanWe adore this place! The location is great! It's just a few blocks off the "main drag" and right across the creek from the city park. Easy to find. The restrooms were clean. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Tall pines made for a great setting and provided nice shade. There is a playground area for littles. Sites provide adequate space. Pet friendly - lot of campers had dogs. We'll definitely be back.
Aug 13, 2024 · Tammy SteffensWe have stayed here with our trailer about 4 times now. Each time about a week long. The campground is very clean. The facilities are very clean. There are nice areas for dogs, a playground for the kids, and plenty of room. The spots are not paved but are still fairly level and not hard to get into. The price is also extremely reasonable for the location and full hookups.
Jul 30, 2024 · Aaron Is Up For AnythingOne of the best campgroundsThis campground has everything you need, a creek for swimming, walking paths, kids playground, an outdoor washing station for dishes, clean bathrooms, showers, 30 & 50 amp hook ups, picnic table, fire pit and the best thing of all is a short walk to the bustling downtown of Sisters. The family enjoyed this location and will return again.
