Springs Campground Introduce
For local travelers and those passing through White Sulphur Springs, Montana, searching for "camping near me," Springs Campground presents a highly recommended option, particularly for RV enthusiasts. Located at 1004 W Main St, White Sulphur Springs, MT 59645, USA, this family-owned campground has garnered positive reviews for its well-maintained facilities, reliable services, and welcoming atmosphere. While the reviews primarily focus on RV hookups, the positive sentiment suggests a comfortable and pleasant experience for all types of campers seeking a stopover or a base to explore the local community.
Environment and Location: Springs Campground is situated in White Sulphur Springs, a community known for its welcoming nature and close-knit spirit. While the immediate environment of the campground isn't extensively described in terms of natural features like forests or lakes, its location within the town provides easy access to local amenities and the unique charm of White Sulphur Springs. The reviews highlight the community as one where people look out for each other, suggesting a safe and friendly surrounding area for visitors. The mention of a larger, less favored "corporate variety" campground nearby implies that Springs Campground offers a more personal and perhaps quieter alternative.
The fact that visitors from as far as Florida look forward to returning annually speaks volumes about the appeal of both the campground and the White Sulphur Springs community. This suggests that the location offers more than just a place to park; it provides an experience rooted in hospitality and a sense of belonging. While the natural environment immediately at the campground is not detailed, the broader region of Montana is known for its stunning landscapes, and White Sulphur Springs serves as a gateway to explore some of this beauty. Campers might find opportunities for outdoor activities a short drive from the campground.
Services and Amenities: Springs Campground is particularly noted for its "full hookups," which is a significant advantage for RV travelers. According to a satisfied customer, these full hookups are reliable and well-functioning. The "great water flow" indicates a strong and consistent water supply, essential for RV living. The "solid and reliable electric hookup" ensures that RVs can comfortably power their appliances and systems without issues. The mention of "Sewer .. lol, what can you say. Everything goes in the ground as it is supposed to" humorously assures that the sewer hookups are also functional and as expected.
The provision of full hookups suggests that Springs Campground caters primarily to RVs and likely offers the necessary infrastructure to support them. While the reviews don't explicitly mention amenities for tent campers, the positive overall experience hints that tent sites, if available, would likely be well-maintained. However, for local users specifically looking for tent camping, it would be wise to inquire directly about the availability and features of tent-specific sites.
The repeated positive feedback about the maintenance and care provided by Wendy and Larry, the owners, suggests a high level of service and attention to detail at the campground. Their dedication to maintaining a "very nice RV park" contributes significantly to the positive experiences of the guests.
Features and Highlights: The standout feature of Springs Campground is its reputation as a well-run, family-owned establishment that prioritizes guest satisfaction. The personal touch often found in smaller, family-operated campgrounds can lead to a more attentive and caring service compared to larger, more impersonal corporate campgrounds. The loyalty of returning guests, some from considerable distances, underscores this positive aspect.
Another highlight is the strong sense of community both within the campground and in White Sulphur Springs itself. The welcoming nature of the town, where people look out for each other, extends to the campground, with Wendy and Larry being cited as shining examples of this spirit. This creates a friendly and supportive environment for travelers, making them feel safe and welcome.
For RVers, the reliable full hookups are a major feature, providing the convenience and functionality needed for a comfortable stay. Knowing that water, electricity, and sewer connections are dependable can significantly enhance the camping experience, especially for longer stays.
While specific recreational features within the campground (like a playground or communal areas) are not mentioned, its location in White Sulphur Springs likely provides access to local attractions and activities. The town itself might offer unique features or events that could be of interest to campers. Further exploration of White Sulphur Springs would be beneficial for understanding the full range of activities available to visitors staying at Springs Campground.

Oct 08, 2022 · Rachel RossWendy, the owner, was very nice over the phone. Once we moved here she was very demanding, vulgar, condescending, and mean.Every time we reported our neighboring camper was being loud, tampering with our stuff, or directly harassing us she would tell us, and I quote, “I don’t care” and go about her business.
