Toqua Campground Reviews
The Toqua Campground has a kind and helpful staff, spectacular views of the lake, private restrooms with huge showers, and clean laundry facilities (bring your own quarters!) My dog loved the open fields and lake access. The road noise was minimal, especially at night. I can't imagine a more lovely place to stay and can't wait to return!
Apr 30, 2025 · Katherine RootToqua CampgroundI was not able to fill out the stars on the room because we had an RV site from the summer of 2024 to the spring opening of 2025. This is a lovely area to stay whether you’re in an RV or renting one of their smaller cabins. Every view is breathtaking. What a joy it was to wake up every morning and watch the sunrise over the lake with the mountains in the background - is priceless. This Campground is one of the cleanest campgrounds I’ve ever been to. All the sites are very wide and spacious and feel like you have your own personal yard. In addition, there are several paved roads and a walking trail, which we used every day multiple times a day. I enjoyed the beach area on the lake. There’s also a pavilion there if you want to have guests over to swim or barbecue. Lots of people own dogs and it’s pet friendly. Not only is it a lovely place to say, it’s also very safe. Everyone gets their own personal code to get in the campground. Which I really appreciate because I stayed alone for many weeks at a time by myself.Their laundry facilities are also exceptionally clean and I never had to wait for someone to finish their laundry. They also have a store here which is super convenient when you’re running out of something and you don’t want to go to the store.Pepper who runs this location is such a great person. She goes above and beyond for all of her customers. She’s fun and friendly and very accommodating. There’s so much more I could write because our stay here, it was our second home until our house was built. And a special thanks to Pepper and the entire Toqua family for making us feel so welcome. I would book your stay now because they book very quickly because this is a gem of a campground!Thank you, Pepper for all you do!! We appreciate you and everyone so much.
Mar 11, 2025 · Share FioritoHad a great stay at this campground! Pepper helped us get a last minute site and was extremely helpful. Everything was very clean and made for a relaxing weekend. Will absolutely come back again!
May 01, 2025 · Derek MorganThis is one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at!Very nice spots located on Tellico Lake! It's extremely quiet, and the fishing is good! The grounds are clean, professionally manicured, and the staffing is awesome! If you like bass fishing and you're in Tennessee, this is the RV park for you.The prices are fair and reasonable.Highly recommended
Sep 23, 2024 · David SullinsToo upscale for us. We have a small camper and felt like the Beverly Hillbillies amongst all the big campers. We will go somewhere else next time, where we will fit in better. We love Lauderdale Campground. We sure miss Susan, the former manager, at both places.
