Twin Bridges Campground Introduce
For local residents in the Rexburg, Idaho area seeking a straightforward and enjoyable "camping near me" experience, Twin Bridges Campground, located on Lyman, Archer, Ririe Highway, S 600 E, Rexburg, ID 83440, USA, appears to be a promising option. Based on the positive feedback from recent visitors, this campground offers a combination of comfortable camping spots, essential amenities, and affordability, making it a place worth considering for your next outdoor getaway.
The Environment: Comfortable and Convenient Campsites
One of the standout features of Twin Bridges Campground, as highlighted by a satisfied camper, is the quality of the campsites themselves. They specifically mentioned finding a "wonderful campsite that was flat and comfortable," which is a significant factor for a good night's sleep and overall camping enjoyment. The availability of flat ground makes setting up tents much easier and more stable, contributing to a more relaxing experience. This suggests that the campground takes care in maintaining its sites to ensure they are suitable for a variety of camping setups. The fact that there were "plenty of sites to choose from" is also a significant advantage, especially during peak camping seasons. This increases the likelihood of finding a spot that suits your preferences, whether you're looking for more shade, proximity to certain facilities (if available), or a specific level of privacy. The open availability of sites suggests a potentially less crowded feel compared to campgrounds with limited options, allowing campers to spread out and enjoy their space.
Services and Amenities: Simple and Effective
While the reviews don't go into extensive detail about the services and amenities offered at Twin Bridges Campground, they do highlight some key aspects. The mention of an "awesome" fire pit that "worked like a charm" is a significant positive for many campers. A well-functioning fire pit is often central to the camping experience, providing a place for cooking, warmth, and gathering in the evenings. The simplicity implied by the phrase "very nice simple campground" suggests that while it might not be a resort-style camping destination with numerous bells and whistles, it provides the essential elements needed for a comfortable and enjoyable outdoor stay. The affordability is also a key feature, with one reviewer stating that "$10 well spent," indicating excellent value for the cost. This makes Twin Bridges Campground an attractive option for budget-conscious campers looking for a quality experience without breaking the bank.
Features and Overall Experience
The primary features of Twin Bridges Campground, based on the user reviews, seem to be its well-maintained and comfortable campsites, the presence of effective fire pits, and the abundance of available sites. The overall experience appears to be positive, with one group explicitly stating they "had a great time at Twin Bridges" and would "certainly consider returning in the future!" This strong recommendation speaks volumes about the quality and appeal of the campground. The simplicity of the campground, while not offering extensive amenities, seems to be a part of its charm, providing a focus on the core camping experience in a pleasant environment. The affordability further enhances its appeal, making it accessible to a wider range of campers, including individuals, families, and groups looking for a cost-effective outdoor adventure in the Rexburg area.
Promotional Aspects and Local Appeal
Based on the overwhelmingly positive, albeit brief, reviews, the primary promotional aspect of Twin Bridges Campground for local users is its reputation for providing an "excellent" and "very nice" camping experience at an affordable price of just $10. The key selling points appear to be the flat and comfortable campsites, the well-functioning fire pits, and the generally uncrowded feel due to the availability of plenty of sites. For local residents seeking a simple, no-fuss camping getaway without high costs, Twin Bridges Campground seems to be an ideal choice. The strong recommendation from a returning visitor further reinforces its appeal. To attract more local campers, word-of-mouth based on these positive experiences is likely a significant factor. Highlighting the affordability and the quality of the basic camping necessities (comfortable ground, good fire pits) in any local listings or community boards could also be beneficial. Emphasizing the ease of finding a suitable campsite due to the abundance of options might also attract those who have had negative experiences with overcrowded campgrounds.

May 06, 2025 · Alan LundIve been here almost every weekend since Memorial Day weekend. The price is great and it's so peaceful, I absolutely love this place!
Sep 02, 2024 · JD Hendersongreat spot to hike, camp, and just relax for an evening with a firepit! there is lots of shade from trees but it still feels open in most areas. there are two bridges of course that I regularly fish at for fun and I usually catch browns and rainbows with spinners. the access road has some bends to it so some people can come hauling around the corner just keep that in mind. you can also see a lot of wildlife in the area and if you walk to the rivers edge you can spot some really cool tracks from all sorts of animals! last note is that some cell phone carriers dont get service in the are and you have to walk a bit to find reception. Overall I would recommend checking out this place!
Jul 01, 2018 · Dillon KohlerFelt like this was a great spot to layover, no hook ups, also no dump station or accessible fresh water spigot, all of this I knew that before going in. I struggled between rating this campground a 3 or 4, so let's start with Pros:- Price, at $5 dollars a night this is about as cheap as it gets.- 30 camp sites to choose from, all a little different, all level from what I could tell- Snake River is a couple hundred feet away- Tall mature treesCons:- Available bathrooms are run down, one had no TP and lock was broke.- Traffic, seemed to be a lot of cars going in an out, if I had to speculate, I'd say local kids looking for out of the way spots.- Campsites could use a little more careI'd stay here again, so all in all not a bad spot. My visit was in late June and the river was flowing fast and way over it's normal banks which made for some great scenery.
