US Army Corps of Engineers Reviews
It’s the perfect distance from town and away from all the noise. We stayed in Sept 2022 and April 2023 and Katie remembered us when we rolled in. In the rainy season make sure to camp across from the lake and not next to it or you’ll be in the lake! Love this campground. We stay here anytime we’re in town to visit family.
Apr 25, 2023 · Sara GraceGreat camping here. Wonderful staff with well maintained sites. Roomy & clean among beautiful trees. Great amenities.
May 01, 2024 · T SavMy wife and I spent 2 nights at this Campground in site 46. The site had nice shade, quiet, roomy, level with a nice view of the lake. On the negative side, there was minimal access drinking, shower etc. water. The bathrooms in our loop were not mutch more than glorified Porta potties. I checked out the bathrooms in another loop that appeared they might be better from a distance and might have been better originally. While they were larger with real toilets and showers, they were in a SAD state of maintenance.I'm not sure about the other camp sites, but flies were a nuisance at ours, particularly if we tried to eat outside.
Jun 19, 2024 · RL RowanNice clean park, park attendance are helpful and nice. Gate attendance were the best hope to see them again when I come back. Only bad thing is the ranger dose not enforce the don't park on grass rule. It won't be long before all the open grass will be dead.
