According to visitor feedback, there are several hiking trails available, providing opportunities to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Alabama terrain. One reviewer specifically mentioned the Reunion Trail (black section), noting that while it is nice, hikers should pay close attention to the markings as a section of the trail has been shifted. Another key feature highlighted is the ease of traveling around the area from the campground's location. This suggests that while the park offers a tranquil natural setting, it is also conveniently situated for exploring nearby attractions or accessing essential services outside the park. This balance between natural immersion and accessibility can be a significant advantage for campers who wish to combine their outdoor adventure with local exploration.

Wind Creek State Park Equestrian Campground Reviews
Very nice state park campground. Access to the lake right from our campsite for kayaking. Nice facilities kept very clean. Easy to travel around the area. A few hiking trails that were nice but need to pay close attention to markings on the reunion trail, black section as the trail has been shifted in a section.

Nov 25, 2024 · Rhonda PoseyYoy can't ride the horses if you weigh more than 230 pounds. They need to invest in some stronger horses.
Feb 27, 2025 · Josh WilliamsIt's nice. Mother nature wasn't nice while here. The marina store has a lot to be desired. Can't find children's lake Martin apparel at all. Nothing for XL. Tons of small, medium and 2X. Large is somewhat available. But it is sad that they have most sizes nobody wears. And nothing for children. When 900 miles to visit and you can't get family shirts kinda stinks.
