A's Introduce
Are you searching for exceptional "RV parks near me" that offer a serene and well-maintained environment, particularly if you are a senior seeking a welcoming community? Or perhaps you are looking for an ideal retirement community in the Sebastopol area? While formerly known as Fircrest Mobile Home Park, A's, located at 965 Gravenstein Hwy S, Sebastopol, CA 95472, USA, presents itself as a lovely, owner-occupied park with numerous amenities geared towards seniors, potentially offering a unique experience for discerning RV travelers seeking a tranquil and well-cared-for setting.
One of the most compelling aspects of A's Mobile Home Park is its strong sense of community, particularly among its senior residents. With one long-term resident happily living there for over eight years, the park is described as a "lovely park with wonderful amenities for seniors" and an ideal community for retirement. This established and positive atmosphere suggests a stable and supportive environment that might appeal to RV travelers looking for a more settled and friendly locale during their stay.
The park boasts a range of appealing amenities. Residents enjoy lovely gardens and plants throughout the community, contributing to its overall aesthetic charm and creating a pleasant environment. A "beautiful clean sparkling pool" is another highlight, offering a refreshing and well-maintained space for relaxation and recreation. Additionally, the presence of a community recreation room suggests a central hub for social activities, gatherings, and potential access to shared facilities, enhancing the sense of community within the park.
The management at A's Mobile Home Park receives high praise from residents. The newest manager is described as "wonderful, fun, and extremely good at communicating." Effective communication from management is crucial for a well-functioning community, ensuring residents are informed and that issues are addressed promptly. A recent street resurfacing project is cited as an example of the manager's organizational skills and thoughtfulness, resulting in a "painless, quick, and actually fun" process where everyone knew what to do. This positive feedback indicates a proactive and resident-focused management style.
The park's environment is further enhanced by its mature trees, providing shade and contributing to a pleasant and established feel. Additionally, the property backs onto the Greenway, suggesting access to green spaces and potentially walking or biking trails, adding to the appeal for those who enjoy outdoor activities and a connection with nature.
Another significant feature of A's Mobile Home Park is that it is entirely owner-occupied, with no absentee landlords. This ownership structure often leads to a higher standard of maintenance and care for individual homes and their exteriors, as residents have a vested interest in preserving the beauty and value of their properties. This can contribute to the overall well-kept appearance and pleasant environment of the park, which could be attractive to RV travelers seeking a visually appealing and well-maintained setting.
The on-site managers also live within the park and are reported to be available at any time. This immediate accessibility to management can provide residents and potentially RV guests with a greater sense of security and prompt assistance when needed. The combination of on-site presence and availability contributes to the feeling of a well-supported community.
The friendly nature of the community is consistently highlighted in the reviews. A welcoming and friendly atmosphere can significantly enhance the experience of both long-term residents and short-term visitors. For RV travelers, encountering friendly neighbors can contribute to a more enjoyable and connected stay.
Convenience is another advantage of A's Mobile Home Park, as it is located close enough to town to walk. This proximity to local amenities such as shops, restaurants, and services can be a significant benefit, offering residents and potentially RV guests the freedom to easily access these resources without relying solely on vehicles.
While primarily a senior living community of owner-occupied mobile homes, the exceptional qualities of A's Mobile Home Park – its lovely environment, wonderful amenities, proactive and communicative management, friendly community, and convenient location – might appeal to certain RV travelers seeking a more tranquil and well-maintained setting than a typical "RV park near me." Seniors traveling in RVs, in particular, might find the senior-friendly amenities and the strong sense of community especially attractive.
However, it is important to note that the information provided does not explicitly detail the availability or specific amenities for RVs. Those considering A's Mobile Home Park as a potential option when searching for "RV parks near me" should inquire directly about the park's policies regarding RV stays, the types of hookups available (water, electricity, sewer), the size limitations for RVs, and the duration of permitted stays. Understanding these specifics is crucial for RV travelers to determine if A's Mobile Home Park can accommodate their needs.
Sebastopol is a charming town in Sonoma County known for its artistic community, natural beauty, and proximity to wineries and the coast. I have been happily living in Fircrest Mobile Home Park for over 8 years. It is a lovely park with wonderful amenities for seniors. I can't think of a better community for retirement. Our newest manager is wonderful, fun and extremely good at communicating. We recently had a big street resurfacing project here and our manager was so well organized and thoughtful. This turned out to be painless, quick and actually fun. We all knew what to do. Plus the park is looking better than ever with lovely gardens, plants, a beautiful clean sparkling pool and a community rec room. We are close enough to town to walk. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here. Especially with our new manager who we trust and have confidence in.
Jul 19, 2022 · Emily WebsterI've lived here for 5 years. All owner--occupied, no absentee landlords, so homes and exteriors are well kept. Mature trees, and backs on Greenway so pleasant environment. Managers on site also live here and available any time. Friendly community.
Jan 19, 2019 · Sarah BatesDear Fircrest Residents:The petsitter DID NOT call your Mgr to complain about on street parking! The owner did, even after she was asked NOT TO! The sitter casually asked owner about the noisy old truck starting up at 6-7am in front of the bedroom window. But thanks for standing in front of the open window & gossiping about it, spreading the misinformation & ostracizing me for 3.5 wks! Sorry to hear abt Richard, one of three people who spoke to me...
Jul 13, 2022 · Linda SwThe park is open to manufactured homes, but there are no vacant lots at this time. This is a senior park only and residents must be 55 years old. Units are sometimes for sale, and owners may replace a unit with a new home
Dec 05, 2014 · Lee JulienNot exactly a top of the line place and getting expensive. But location, location, location! Half mile from the center of town; borders on wild Laguna land behind the Mobile Home Park. A safe haven for folks who find a home here, across Hiway #116 from Fircrest Market. Swimming Pool!! Units for sale right now; new listing signs this week.
