Park Village Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Sebastopol area that offer a sense of community and a long-established presence, or are you considering a move to a mobile home park with a history in the region? Park Village, located at 6665 Sebastopol Ave, Sebastopol, CA 95472, USA, presents itself as a mobile home park with a rich history and a neighborly atmosphere, potentially offering a unique experience for both long-term residents and possibly RV travelers seeking a community-oriented environment.
One long-term resident, having lived in Park Village for an impressive 52 years, provides a historical perspective on the community. While acknowledging changes over time, their continued presence suggests a level of enduring appeal. This deep-rooted history indicates that Park Village has been a fixture in the Sebastopol area for a significant period, fostering a sense of tradition and established community.
Another resident describes Park Village as a "wonderful little place to call home," highlighting the positive aspects of current life within the community. They mention getting to know "pretty cool and mellow" neighbors, indicating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere among the residents. This neighborly environment can be a significant draw for those seeking a sense of belonging, whether for a long-term stay in a mobile home or a potentially extended visit in an RV.
The management at Park Village is described as "pretty fair" by one resident. Fair management is crucial for a positive living experience, ensuring that rules are applied equitably and that residents' concerns are addressed reasonably. This positive feedback regarding the manager suggests a stable and approachable leadership within the community.
A unique feature mentioned by a resident is the involvement of "West county volunteers" who dedicate their time to help find people housing within Park Village. This indicates a level of community support and a commitment to assisting individuals in finding a place to live within the park. This aspect of community involvement could be reassuring for those considering a longer-term stay or even RVers who appreciate a community with a supportive network.
While one long-term resident reminisces about past recreational opportunities within the surrounding fields, specifically mentioning riding a Honda ATC 250R, it's important to note that these activities may no longer be available or permitted. The comment about the area having "gone to shit in the last 15 or so years" should be considered as one individual's subjective perspective on changes in the surrounding environment and may not reflect the current living experience within the park itself. The resident also mentions personal changes ("fat & lazy now"), which are separate from the park's current attributes.
Despite the nostalgic recollections of the past, the more recent feedback emphasizes the positive aspects of the current community, including friendly neighbors and fair management. This suggests that while the area around Park Village may have evolved, the sense of community and the management's approach are still viewed favorably by current residents.
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in Sebastopol, Park Village presents a mobile home community with a long history and a reputation for a friendly and mellow atmosphere. While the reviews do not explicitly detail amenities specifically for RVs, the sense of community and the presence of fair management could be appealing to RV travelers seeking a more integrated and less transient experience. The involvement of West County Volunteers in housing within the park might also indicate a welcoming attitude towards new residents, which could potentially extend to RV visitors.
However, it is crucial for RV travelers to inquire directly about the availability of RV sites, the types of hookups offered (water, electricity, sewer), any size restrictions for RVs, and the duration of permitted stays. The information provided in the reviews focuses primarily on the experiences of mobile home residents and does not offer specific details relevant to RV accommodations.
Sebastopol is a vibrant town known for its apple orchards, art galleries, and independent shops. Staying at Park Village would provide an opportunity to experience the local culture and explore the surrounding Sonoma County. The park's location at 6665 Sebastopol Ave places it within reasonable proximity to the town's amenities and attractions.
To determine if Park Village is a suitable option when searching for "RV parks near me," it is highly recommended to contact them directly at (707) 329-6557 or +1 707-329-6557. Inquire about their policies regarding RV stays, the amenities available for RVs, and any specific guidelines for visitors. Speaking with the park management will provide you with the necessary information to make an informed decision based on your individual needs as an RV traveler. While primarily a mobile home community, the positive aspects of Park Village's social environment and management may make it a worthwhile consideration for those seeking a unique and community-oriented experience in the Sebastopol area.

Feb 08, 2023 · Ramona CardwellThis park no longer has a campground. Park was sold several years ago, and as a condition of the sale, things were going to slowly shut down.... Started with the campground, then as Tennant's vacate, their spaces are cleared and left open, no new residents.
