Albany RV and Trailer Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a stay at a trailer park in the Albany, Oregon area? Albany RV and Trailer Park, located at 1197 Century Dr NE, Albany, OR 97322, USA, warrants significant caution based on the overwhelmingly negative experiences shared by individuals who have interacted with the property and its management. The provided customer reviews paint a disturbing picture of unprofessionalism, unethical behavior, and substandard park conditions, making it imperative for potential visitors or residents to proceed with extreme caution and seek alternative options if possible.
One detailed and deeply concerning review recounts a truly distressing experience involving a prospective RV purchase from a resident within the park. According to this reviewer, shortly after settling in, their fiancé fell ill, requiring emergency medical attention. While paramedics and firemen were attending to the fiancé, the property manager allegedly exhibited extreme insensitivity and rudeness by demanding that the reviewer remove their belongings immediately. This occurred while the reviewer was understandably focused on the well-being of their partner who was in pain and being prepared for transport to the emergency room. The manager reportedly offered no explanation or assistance during this incredibly stressful and vulnerable situation.
Adding to the distress, the reviewer received a call at the emergency room from the alleged owner of the trailer they were in the process of purchasing, revealing that they had been scammed by the seller. This unfortunate situation coincided with the manager's demand for immediate removal. Subsequently, the reviewer claims that the trailer owner, accompanied by the manager, entered the trailer and rifled through their belongings, taking items they wanted. Despite offering twice the value of the RV to resolve the situation quickly due to their fiancé's medical emergency, the reviewer still had to deal with the park management.
Upon returning to the park after their partner was stable, the reviewer met with the trailer owner, at which point the owner allegedly changed his mind about the agreed-upon sale. Following this, the manager and her boyfriend reportedly trespassed the reviewer from the property before they could even retrieve all of their belongings, demanding their immediate departure. The reviewer expresses disbelief that while dealing with being scammed out of a significant sum of money ($1000 for down payment and rent) and their fiancé's medical crisis, they were allegedly subjected to further mistreatment by the park management.
The situation escalated when the manager's boyfriend reportedly arrived with a U-Haul, assuming the reviewer had returned to the hospital, further emphasizing their apparent eagerness to remove the reviewer from the property. The reviewer concludes by labeling these individuals as "despicable" and claims to be discovering a pattern of the manager and others "scamming people and stealing from residents there regularly since they started." They also mention that "Several people are speaking to an attorneys office working on a lawsuit against them," which is an extremely serious allegation indicating widespread dissatisfaction and potential legal action against the park management. The reviewer strongly advises others to "Do not stay there."
A second review corroborates the negative sentiment, focusing on the unfulfilled promises made to tenants. This reviewer states, "As tenants we were promised that the park would be cleaned up and flowers would be planted and none of that been done." While acknowledging that the weather might affect flower planting, they point out visible signs of neglect, stating, "if you drive through it, you’ll see mattresses and stuff stacked up against the dumpsters there’s huge potholes and road, definitely is not a great place to stay." These observations suggest a poorly maintained environment with potential safety hazards like potholes and an unsightly accumulation of discarded items. The reviewer also mentions a significant lack of a basic amenity, stating, "there’s no showers," which would be a major inconvenience for both long-term residents and those seeking "RV parks near me" for any duration.
Given these two highly critical reviews, potential visitors or residents searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home living options in Albany, Oregon, should be extremely wary of Albany RV and Trailer Park. The allegations of callous and unprofessional management, potential unethical and illegal behavior, and the reported poor condition of the park paint a concerning picture. The lack of essential amenities like showers, coupled with the visible disrepair and alleged mistreatment of individuals in vulnerable situations, strongly suggests that this park may not provide a safe, comfortable, or reputable living environment.
While the park's phone number is provided as (541) 928-8532 and +1 541-928-8532, and the address is 1197 Century Dr NE, Albany, OR 97322, USA, the overwhelmingly negative feedback strongly advises against contacting or visiting this property without extreme caution and a thorough understanding of the potential risks involved. The serious nature of the allegations, including potential legal action from multiple individuals, should not be taken lightly.
For those seeking "RV parks near me" in the Albany area, it would be prudent to explore alternative options that have more positive or at least less alarming reviews. A well-managed and maintained RV or trailer park should prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of its residents and guests, and the feedback for Albany RV and Trailer Park suggests a significant departure from these basic expectations.
In conclusion, based on the available customer reviews, Albany RV and Trailer Park appears to be a problematic and potentially harmful place to stay or live. The allegations of rude and unethical management, the reported poor condition of the park, and the lack of essential amenities like showers are significant red flags. The mention of potential legal action from multiple individuals further underscores the severity of the issues. Anyone searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home living in Albany, Oregon, is strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate alternative accommodations before considering Albany RV and Trailer Park. The risks, as described by former or prospective customers, appear to be substantial and should not be ignored.

Albany RV and Trailer Park Reviews
Very bad experience, my fiance and I was buying an RV from a lady that was in that park. After a few days we started to get settled in and my fiance got sick. We called 911 and when the ambulance showed up so did the property manager. While the paramedics and firemen were trying to stabilize her for transport the rude little girl of a manager says to me that " we need to have our stuff out right now ", then walked away from me while on the phone. I was floored. .. I'm watching this woman I love on pain and agony and confused being pit on a stretcher and being told to get our belongings out of this place that we just moved into. I was beside myself for a moment then asked "why?" The rude manager didn't give me any more info or any help at all. After getting to the emergency room I get a call from someone who is saying he is the owner of that trailer. We had been had by someone and now that my fiance is in the emergency room just had to be the time for that manager to let me know. So.. I worked out a deal with the guy after he showed up at the hospital ( but not before going to the trailer and rifling through our belongings with the manager and taking what they wanted ). I offered twice the value of the camper just to not have to deal with it right now, he accepted at the hospital. We then had to go take care of the park, after my partner was stable I met the owner of the trailer at the park and the manager showed up soon after. At that point the owner had changed his mind claiming he could get a better deal, maybe , I don't care. I had offered way more then I thought it was worth so I was fine with not buying it. However now the manager and her boyfriend were trespassing me from the property before I had gotten our belongings out, saying I had to leave. I can't believe that while I got scammed out of the money i put down and the rent paid wich was $1000 and my fiance falling ill and getting put in the hospital they were trying to rip me off more. I didn't leave right away and began getting my belongings out when the boyfriend of the manager pulled into the front of the trailer with a uhaul because they thought I had went back to the hospital. These people are despicable and I'm finding out that they have been scamming people and stealing from residents there regularly since they started. Several people are speaking to an attorneys office working on a lawsuit against them. Do not stay there.
Apr 11, 2024 · Nicholas Luttrell (Nick)As tenants we were promised that the park would be cleaned up and flowers would be planted and none of that been done. I understand the flowers due to the weather but if you drive through it, you’ll see mattresses and stuff stacked up against the dumpsters there’s huge potholes and road, definitely is not a great place to stay, but everybody’s entitled to their own opinion there’s no showers and that’s all I have to say about Albany Harvey Park
Apr 11, 2024 · Dorothy HarmanAll in all its a decent place more so if u keep to yourself and now their requirements include background check and financial verification which carries a $35 or $50 application fee per adult. Could just be for the manufacturered homes but not sure. Army the manager is a easy going person and overall a nice guy
May 24, 2019 · Fred WarthenThis trailer park is a disgusting hell hole!! There is a lot of illegal activity going in there. The manager kicked a woman out, then he sold HER trailer & kept the $$ for himself. She had nowhere to go and was sleeping in a ditch down the street!! DESPICABLE!!!!! Whoever owns this pig sty needs to step up & clean house!!!!
