Alpine Springs RV Park Introduce
Looking for "RV parks near me" in the Alpine, California area that prioritize security, cleanliness, and a peaceful environment? Alpine Springs RV Park, located at 5635 Willows Rd, Alpine, CA 91901, USA, offers a welcoming stop for both overnight travelers and those seeking a longer respite. While it may not boast an extensive list of amenities, its focus on security, friendly service, and a tranquil setting makes it a noteworthy option for RV enthusiasts exploring Southern California.
Upon arrival at Alpine Springs RV Park, guests can expect a friendly and professional welcome, as highlighted by a reviewer who specifically mentioned "Lynn at the front desk was friendly and professional." This positive initial interaction sets the tone for a pleasant stay. The check-in process appears smooth, with the reviewer noting a seamless transition from another nearby RV park to Alpine Springs, guided by helpful staff member Josh.
Security is a significant feature of Alpine Springs RV Park. The park is gated, providing an added layer of security and peace of mind for guests and their belongings. Furthermore, the presence of security patrols, described as driving "through on and off throughout the day and night," underscores the park's commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment. This can be particularly reassuring for travelers, especially those making overnight stops.
The RV spots at Alpine Springs RV Park are not paved, but as one reviewer noted, this was not a concern for their short overnight stay. The focus here is on functionality and space rather than elaborate infrastructure. Guests can expect water and electric hookups at their sites, providing essential utilities for a comfortable stay. It's important to note that sewer hookups are not available at each site; however, the park does offer a pay dump station for RVers to manage their waste, a common and practical solution for many RV parks.
The layout of the park, at least in the area where the reviewer stayed (the first row past the old, closed clubhouse), is described as "quiet and clean." This contributes to a relaxing atmosphere, allowing guests to unwind and enjoy a peaceful night's rest. The area was also noted as a "great area to walk the dog" due to the lack of heavy traffic, making it a convenient and safe space for pet owners to exercise their furry companions.
One of the unique features offered by Alpine Springs RV Park is its 24-hour shuttle service to the nearby casino and outlet mall. This provides a convenient and safe transportation option for guests looking to enjoy entertainment, dining, or shopping without having to drive themselves. While one reviewer opted for a short drive to the Viejas Outlet Mall, the availability of the shuttle service is a significant amenity for those wishing to take advantage of these local attractions.
The overall impression from the reviews is overwhelmingly positive. One guest who stayed at Alpine Springs RV Park expressed a desire to live there full-time, stating, "Management & Maintenance were very nice Great Rate absolutely Loved this place It was very clean ,quiet. With a Great View I would love to live here Full Time I will definitely be back soon. Great Place." This enthusiastic feedback highlights the park's cleanliness, quiet ambiance, friendly management, and appealing rates, as well as the potential for scenic views, although not explicitly detailed.

Alpine Springs RV Park Reviews
Lynn at the front desk was friendly and professional. We checked in ma war tah rv park, unhooked our toad, and then Josh escorted us to Alpine Springs up the road. The park is gated, and security drives through on and off throughout the day and night. The spots aren't paved, but we didn't mind because we were looking for a place to hook up for one night on our way to Newport Dunes. There aren't any amenities, but we had water and electric hookups (no sewer but they have a pay dump station) We were in the first row past the old clubhouse (closed), and it was quiet and clean, a great area to walk the dog, because there was not a lot of traffic. They have 24-hour shuttle service to the casino and outlet mall. However, we took a short drive to Viejas Outlet Mall to walk around and stretch our legs.We would definitely stay here again on our way to the California Coast. It was nice to take a good chunk of our drive time out of the equation and escape the Arizona heat.

Oct 17, 2024 · MistyAlpine is not for the faint hearted RVers. To go here you gotta have grit, and an RV under 30, dare I say 25 feet to safely navigate the roads. The roads themselves need to be repaved and marked, the groundhog or gopher issue needs to be addressed, and for heaven's sake, a reevaluation of where to put speedbumps needs to be addressed, because at the bottom curve of a hill it can be a scraping issue for longer RVs (again, strongly suggest smaller vehicles here). All the basic services worked, but we teetered on a cliff we werent comfortable disengaging our hauling vehicle from, and there were so many holes in the ground from whatever animal is digging there it looked like swiss cheese. On Alpine, the buildings are derelict and actively decaying. I'm unhappy to suggest Ma Tar Awa campground as an accomplice in being ill placed in Alpine Springs RV, but we expected their grounds which look more hospitable for large RVs. Either they do not pay attention to these grounds and have let them go to waste unknowingly, or they choose to invest upkeep somewhere else, because this park is more for small RV and tents, and that is embellishing and gratuitous. This park needs a makeover, and I would not in good conscious suggest this to anyone until the grounds have been better managed and carefully reviewed before a large RV is escorted here. We scheduled a week - and left after two nights for better accomodations elsewhere with no refund (per management we had a discount and didnt qualify for any kind of refund) as we extracated ourselves to keep any further damages from our RV. Go in with Ant Spray too - in the short time we were there, ants built a nest surrounding our water hose and filter which now need to be replaced. I wish we had a better review, but we do not. This was a low point in our adventure as RV fulltimers.
Sep 07, 2022 · Amber WilbornMade reservation was not told to be there by 5:30. Got there. No one was there. Security told us to go back. After an 8-hour drive. That was the least thing that we wanted to do. Everything is not kept up and you wonder if it's secure. They really should double their price and hire someone to take care of the grounds and fix everything that doesn't work. Including put in at least some level of road wide enough to handle rakes without huge potholes. It's a beautiful area. It's a shame it's not taking care of Kelly
Jul 07, 2024 · Ken AugaMade reservations at the much nicer Ma Tar Wa park. When we checked in we were told we had a space at Alpine Springs across the road and a mile away. Very rustic park abandoned years ago. Gave 2 stars because the check in lady apologized and said we could get a refund if we wanted to leave. Left a day early.Update: In checking out we were informed that the advertised park, Ma Tar Wa, is permanently full of full-timers with a long waiting list. If you think you are getting this park, think again. You will be sent to the closed and decrepit multi-level Alpine Springs dirt lot, which does have full hook-ups if you don't mind their abandoned look. Our sewer inlet lacked a cover and was located directly under the fresh water faucet. I would find other accommodations. Viejas Casino should be ashamed to have this as their RV park.
