Arbor Mobile Home Park Reviews
I have been a resident here for 6 years. I have seen some amazing changes with the new owner/managers. I am pleased with the results they have brought to this community. They have a goal of making this place a clean safe place for families to live. I look forward to seeing more results aimed in this direction. It is already much better and safer than it used to be.
Jul 31, 2014 · Autumn SimentalI have lived here at the arbor for 12 years and it has been getting better and better every day. The new management and manager, it is obvious to me, are dedicated to make this park a clean and safe livable place for everyone. So many improvements have been added towards this goal. I feel that it is a victory for everyone who lives here. What is more important than your home?
Apr 14, 2018 · Joann WhittenThis neighborhood has come a long ways and is an affordable housing option for some very nice people who live there. 10 years ago I would not have said this but now I have nothing but nice things to say and they have weeded out the bad seeds, created a safe place to live for the residents and is an asset to this widely diverse community.
Feb 26, 2019 · Jamie WrightJust over a year ago my wife and I moved to this park and bought one of their tiny homes. We absolutely love our tiny home. And from what I understand in speaking with the owner and the manager the park used to be a terrible place to live. But the present owners and the current manager have done a great job clearing out the druggies and other rif raf that used to be here. The park is kind of like living in a HOA in that before you build something you have to clear it with management. I like to do home improvements but since I am a perfectionist and give them a CAD drawing of the project they usually don't have a problem with it.I like the park and it is improving all of the time. There is good lighting at night (at least where I live) and they are always adding more lights. Also there is video surveillance which has caught a few would be thieves. All in all I enjoy the community and would recommend living here.Follow up review:The park was bought by another company and the customer service is even BETTER now and they are putting up more lighting all over the park and replacing the mailboxes and some other improvements. The place is getting better all of the time.Follow up of the follow up.This park USED to be nice and was getting better. It was bought by St. Vincent de Paul property management. The property has gone downhill considerably. There are fights in the road that the police are called in to break up. Some kids set off some fireworks that set my property on fire and the parents did nothing and the management did nothing. And we have the whole thing recorded on CCTV. They now have no on site management and the residents are doing whatever they want. We try to make our place look nice but people are stealing our plants. We are looking at other communities and will probably be moving soon. Hopefully we can find a place where we can park our tiny house. Don't move here.
Jul 10, 2021 · David LawrenceThis awful place locked me into an illegal loan mortgage scheme that violated the terms of a real estate contract that was approved by a federal bankruptcy judge for the sale of a business I owned. Further, I treated with a long pattern of religious discrimination and racism because I'm Jewish. including the park management hurting my reputation with other tenants. The park refused to cooperate with senior citizen services that offered rent or mortgage payments and instead illegally evicted me and illegally foreclosed my home so they could sell it for more money. The park's lawyer threatened me with a lawsuit because I filed a federal housing discrimination claim with the federal government . The park management then planned the rat poison murder of my two small dogs that I paid a neighbor to watch, and the park management then lied to the police about this felony they committed to avoid arrest. The previous park maintenance worker was arrested for the rapes of nine women in the park, aged 15 to 65, and threatened these women with evictions if the complained to the police. This place is run like a criminal enterprise with rapes, dog poisonings, housing discrimination, illegal loan and mortgage contracts, lawyers that extort victims to signing away their homes if they complain to being crime victims, etc. Further, the park has very few African American residents despite being located in a largely African American area which strongly suggests housing discrimination practices.
