Columbia River RV Park Introduce
Looking for "RV parks near me" in the Portland, Oregon area that offer a well-maintained environment and convenient services? Columbia River RV Park, located at 10649 NE 13th Ave, Portland, OR 97211, USA, provides a clean and seemingly well-managed option for both short-term and potentially long-term RV stays. You can reach them at their toll-free number (888) 366-7725 or their mobile-friendly number +1 888-366-7725 for inquiries about availability, pricing, and specific amenities. As a listing within the "RV parks near me" category, Columbia River RV Park aims to provide a comfortable and secure environment for RV travelers and residents.
Columbia River RV Park appears to cater to a range of stay durations, as indicated by one reviewer who used it for an "overnight stay while passing through," while another has been a resident for approximately six weeks and highly recommends it. This suggests that the park can accommodate both transient travelers and individuals seeking a more long-term living arrangement for their RVs. When contacting the park, it would be beneficial to inquire about specific rates and terms for different lengths of stay.
The environment of Columbia River RV Park is consistently described positively in the reviews. One long-term resident emphasizes the cleanliness of the park, noting that "the trash is never overflowing" and that it is "very well kept." Another reviewer also observed that the park seems to be well-maintained, mentioning that they "saw someone power washing sites" and that the "lawn mowed." This focus on cleanliness and maintenance suggests a well-cared-for and pleasant environment for residents and visitors alike.
However, one reviewer who stayed overnight noted that "the lots are tight and you have houses 15ft from your camper if you get an outside spot." This is an important environmental consideration for those who prefer more spacious sites or a more traditional RV park layout geared towards vacationers. It suggests that some areas of the park may have a denser arrangement, possibly due to a significant number of long-term residents. When booking a site, it would be prudent to inquire about the layout and spacing of the available lots to ensure it meets your preferences.
The services offered at Columbia River RV Park are highlighted as particularly beneficial by the long-term resident. The park provides a "package service at the office," which is appreciated for its role in potentially reducing theft and unwanted traffic within the community. This indicates a focus on the security and convenience of residents. Additionally, the laundry room is described as "plentiful and open all hours," offering a significant convenience for those needing to do laundry on their own schedule. The office being "open 7 days a week" is also noted as a positive feature, providing ample opportunity for residents to access mail, packages, or speak with management.
A standout feature mentioned by the long-term resident is the option to "install a 3rd party internet service" in certain areas of the park. This is presented as a major selling point, especially for those who rely on a strong and reliable internet connection for work or personal use, as many RV parks only offer park-wide Wi-Fi, which can sometimes be unreliable. Inquiring about the availability of this option for your specific site would be advisable if reliable internet is a priority.
The application process for long-term residency is mentioned as taking about a week due to the Thanksgiving holiday, but the reviewer was "glad that they do a thorough check," believing it positively impacts the quality of residents and neighbors. This suggests that the management prioritizes creating a community of responsible and respectful individuals, contributing to a positive living environment.
Features of Columbia River RV Park, based on the reviews, include a focus on security through package handling, convenient and accessible laundry facilities, extended office hours, and the unique option for third-party internet in select areas. The emphasis on thorough background checks for long-term residents also contributes to the overall quality of the community. While one reviewer noted the tight lot spacing and the presence of more long-term residents compared to vacationers, this could also be seen as a feature for those seeking a more stable and less transient community atmosphere.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the customer reviews. RV parks sometimes offer discounts for extended stays, seasonal specials, or other incentives. To learn about any current promotions or special rates at Columbia River RV Park, it is recommended to contact them directly using the provided phone numbers. Inquire about any discounts for weekly or monthly stays, seasonal rates, or any other potential cost-saving opportunities.
In conclusion, Columbia River RV Park in Portland, OR, offers a clean and well-maintained environment with several convenient services, including package handling, a plentiful and always-open laundry room, and extended office hours. A unique feature is the option for third-party internet in certain areas. While some sites may have tighter spacing and the park appears to cater to both overnight guests and long-term residents, the thorough application process for long-term stays suggests a commitment to a positive community. For those seeking "RV parks near me" in Portland, Columbia River RV Park warrants consideration, and direct contact with their management at (888) 366-7725 or +1 888-366-7725 is recommended to inquire about site availability, specific amenities, pricing for your desired length of stay, and any current promotions.

Columbia River RV Park Reviews
I moved in about 6 weeks ago. The application process took about a week since it was in the middle of the thanksgiving holiday. I am glad that they do a thorough check. I think this has a great impact on the type of residents and neighbors you will have. I love that there is an option to install a 3rd party internet service (this is only available in certain areas). As a lot of parks only have the option for park wide wifi and its not always the strongest/most reliable, this option was a huge selling point for me. They also provide a package service at the office which I'm sure helps reduce theft and also undesirable people wondering the community. Their laundry room is plentiful and open all hours. I also love how they are open 7 days a week which provides ample opportunities for stopping by for mail or packages. It is very clean and the trash is never overflowing. Very well kept, with great people who work and reside there. I highly recommend and love living here!
Jan 29, 2025 · madison murrayThis park was ok for an overnight stay while passing through. The price was right. The park feels like it’s mostly people who just live there (opposed to vacationers) the lots are tight and you have houses 15ft from your camper if you get an outside spot.Seems like they take care of the place, keep the lawn mowed, saw someone power washing sites etc
Mar 06, 2025 · Christina MasonCrowded but everything that you need including full cable and WiFi. Friendly and nice. Bring an extension and extra sewer hose as the sewage is all the way at the end of the pull through.
Mar 05, 2025 · Robert AndersonQuiet except for planes. Not too bad. Friendly. Large lots and big rig friendly.
Apr 28, 2025 · Carol HollowayOthers stated you can't hear the airplanes at night but we could. The park was clean and kept up well. We never met or saw any staff. The bathrooms though were absolutely gross. Hair all over the shower walls on our first night and 3 days later it was still there. A giant spider crawled on me mid shower. You also have to wait like 10 minutes with the hot water running to get any hot water. Bathrooms are the reason for the lost two stars but if you don't plan on using them you'll love it.
