Glenwood Trailer Park Introduce
Glenwood Trailer Park, situated at 7041 NE Lombard St, Portland, OR 97218, USA, presents itself as a potential option for those seeking "RV parks near me" in the Northeast Portland area. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of the park based on available customer reviews, addressing aspects such as the environment, potential issues, community features, and other relevant factors for prospective residents or visitors.
Regarding the environment, one reviewer notes that the park is "pretty nice and quiet" usually. However, this tranquility can be disrupted by noise emanating from the neighboring trailer court, including instances of "revving engines all night," "someone playing the drums for hours," yelling, and occasional loud music. Additionally, seasonal events at a nearby park can temporarily disturb the peace during the summer months. These external factors are important to consider for those sensitive to noise.
Security appears to be a concern, as one review explicitly mentions "thefts" and advises against leaving valuable items outside. This suggests that while the park itself may strive for a safe environment, vigilance regarding personal belongings is necessary. Furthermore, the presence of a significant number of cats is highlighted as a major issue. The reviewer describes problems such as the smell of cat urine and fecal matter, damage to plants and soil, and general property damage attributed to these animals. The review indicates dissatisfaction with the measures taken to address this issue.
Noise from external sources extends beyond the neighboring trailer court and nearby park. The location also exposes residents to "train horns and fighter jets and sounds from the street," which are described as persistent unless soundproofing measures are in place. This is a critical consideration for individuals who prioritize a quiet living environment.
Despite these environmental and security concerns, a strong sense of community appears to exist within Glenwood Trailer Park. Multiple reviews mention that "most residents have built a community where they all work together on projects and needs" and "they all look out for those who can't defend themselves or need a hand." This positive aspect suggests a supportive and collaborative atmosphere among many of the residents. The reviewer also notes that while there are a few individuals who are not part of this community due to behaviors such as bitterness, gossiping, or rule-breaking, this is considered "very mild compared to other places." The advice given is to "find out who's who and you're golden," implying that navigating the social dynamics is key to a positive experience.
However, there are also serious allegations regarding the management and the safety of residents. One reviewer recounts a "traumatic experience" involving harassment and threats from another individual within the park, expressing hope that this person has been removed for the safety of other women. Additionally, there is a concern raised about the landlord's understanding of service animals and alleged inaction regarding rule-breaking by a different resident's aggressive dog. These are significant issues that potential residents should be aware of and potentially seek clarification on from the management.
In terms of services and features typically found in RV parks, the provided reviews do not offer specific details. Generally, RV parks provide essential utility hookups such as water, sewer, and electricity. Depending on the park, other amenities might include laundry facilities, restrooms, shower facilities, and communal areas. Prospective residents or visitors should contact the management directly to inquire about the specific services and features available at Glenwood Trailer Park. This would include confirming the size and type of RV sites offered, Wi-Fi availability, and any other amenities that are important to them.
No specific promotional information is included in the provided data. Individuals interested in potential discounts, long-term stay rates, or any other special offers should reach out to the park management directly. Visiting the location may also provide an opportunity to observe the current environment and speak with residents (if appropriate) to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the park.
In summary, Glenwood Trailer Park, located at 7041 NE Lombard St, Portland, OR, presents a mixed picture for those considering it as an "RV park near me." While a strong sense of community and mutual support among many residents is a notable positive aspect, there are significant concerns raised in the reviews regarding noise from the surrounding area, security (thefts), a perceived cat problem, and serious allegations about harassment and management issues. The rent is described as "OK," and most people are considered "OK" by one reviewer. However, the reported negative experiences, particularly those concerning safety and management responsiveness, warrant careful consideration and further investigation by potential residents or visitors. It is strongly recommended to contact the management for detailed information on services, policies, and current conditions, and to potentially visit the park to assess whether it meets individual needs and expectations.

Glenwood Trailer Park Reviews
It is pretty nice and quiet here, usually, most the annoyances actually come from the neighboring trailer court, which consists of revving engines all night on occasion, someone playing the drums for hours, yelling and occasional loud music. In the summer there is also events at the nearby park which is disturbing the peace, that's temporary. There's been thefts, don't leave anything outside that you care about. One issue is cats, they destroy the eco system and everything you love if it's where they can reach, you most likely won't even be able to have a BBQ without the smell of cat urine and fecal matter attacking the back of your throats and making your eyes water, they get into all of your plants to do their business which ruins the soil and will uproot everything and other property damage, not enough is being done to get rid of them.If you can't stand listening to train horns and fighter jets and sounds from the street, this is a bad place to be in because that never stops unless you have soundproofing. Most residents have built a community where they all work together on projects and needs and they all look out for those who can't defend themselves or need a hand.Only very few people aren't a part of the community and usually it's because they have done it to themselves, by being bitter, falsely snitching, lying, gossiping or feeding feral cats on other people's lots or tweaking, you can't really have a place like this without these types, but it's very mild compared to other places I've been to, just find out who's who and you're golden.Landlord doesn't seem to fully understand the concept of a service animal and isn't open to education, but frequently ignored the rule breaking of the aggressive little dog that even attacked mine to the point I had to be careful around the corner as he refused to keep the dog on a leash. The only MAJOR problem to ever occur within this place is a guy, Al, who started telling everyone that I'm weird and much worse, because I refused to do something with him, he talked to his friend about forcing it to happen, and continued to harass me and others until I moved out, he was so threatening and dishonest that I recorded everything he said about me because he was trying to make it seem that I was making it up. This was actually a traumatic experience and I hope that he has been kicked out for the safety of all women who live here.

Sep 27, 2023 · Chelly SheltonJohn Fahrer who is the owner and Manger does not like his tenants to become friends he rents to druggies and pedifiles and alcoholics you have drunks and tweekers going around all night long through other people stuff. In fact trailer #38 is a snitch for John fahrer he tells john anything and everything that goes on in that trailer park. After your there for a month he gives you a no cause eviction if he sees you doing something he don't like.He peeks in your windows and he watches every move you make. He does illegal work on his property. He don't fix anything properly his septic is failing and he has moter homes falling into the ground due to not filling in old septic holes proper. So yes John Fahrer is by most the biggest Slum Lord in portland.
