Autumn Falls mobile home Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Independence, Missouri, area, with convenient access to the broader Kansas City metropolitan region? Autumn Falls Mobile Home Park, located at 9601 E US Hwy 40 Trlr 34, Independence, MO 64055, USA, presents itself as a "great little RV park" offering a blend of accessibility and a quieter atmosphere, catering to both short and potentially longer-term stays.
Based on customer reviews, the environment of Autumn Falls Mobile Home Park is described as "very quiet," making it a potentially appealing option for those seeking a peaceful setting. One reviewer specifically recommends it for a "senior type setting," further emphasizing the tranquil nature of the park. While the reviews don't extensively detail the natural surroundings or landscaping within the park itself, the focus on quietness suggests a more laid-back and less bustling environment compared to some other RV park options.
In terms of services and features, Autumn Falls appears to offer essential amenities for RV travelers. One reviewer highlighted the owner being "very hands on and helpful," personally taking care of "all of the hookups" and providing assistance for navigating a Kansas City winter. This suggests a level of personalized service and attention to the needs of residents. The park accommodates various sizes of RVs, with mentions of a 24' Motorhome, travel trailers, and "big 5th wheels" being present. It's noted that all spots are "back up" sites, and there is designated parking available for an accompanying vehicle. While the reviews don't explicitly list specific hookup types (e.g., water, electricity, sewage), the owner's assistance with hookups implies these basic necessities are likely provided. However, information regarding additional amenities such as restrooms, laundry facilities, or recreational areas is not available in the provided reviews.
A significant feature of Autumn Falls Mobile Home Park is its convenient location. Multiple reviewers emphasize its proximity to various points of interest and essential services. It's located "near shopping" and offers easy access to the stadiums where the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs play. Downtown Kansas City is reportedly only a 15-minute drive away, and cultural attractions like the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art and the Country Club Plaza are within a 20-minute drive. This makes Autumn Falls a potentially attractive base for those looking to explore the Kansas City area and attend sporting events or visit cultural landmarks.
Furthermore, the park is described as being "close to the highways, corner c stores, nearly every necessity a hop skip and jump." This accessibility to everyday conveniences enhances its appeal for both short and longer-term residents. The reviewer who mentioned longer stays (3 to 6 months or more) found it to be a "great space" for such durations. While the park does see "a few overnights come through," the same reviewer suggests that those seeking a very short overnight stay might prefer a more basic option like a nearby Walmart parking lot, implying that Autumn Falls is better suited for slightly longer stays where the quiet environment and available hookups are more beneficial.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the reviews. However, the positive feedback regarding the helpful owner, the quiet atmosphere, and the convenient location near shopping, entertainment, and essential services can be seen as implicit advantages for potential residents. The park's suitability for both short-term RV stays and longer-term mobile home living suggests a flexible community that can cater to different needs.

Autumn Falls mobile home Park Reviews
Great little RV park. Location is near shopping, and the stadiums where the Royals and Chiefs play. Only a 15 minute drive to downtown Kansas City and 20 minutes to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art and the Country Club Plaza. The owner is very hands on and helpful. He did all of the hookups and set me up for surviving a KC winter. This is a great space for those who need a space for short term (3 to 6 months) or longer. I have even seen a few overnights come through, but I would think you would rather stay at the Walmart up the road. I have a 24' Motorhome, but I see many travel trailers and big 5th wheels. All spots are back up, no drive throughs and there is a spot to park your auto.
Nov 22, 2017 · Bryan JordanVery quiet and it’s definitely a place I would recommend for a senior type setting. It’s close to the highways, corner c stores, nearly every necessity a hop skip and jump. Good local! Very nice.
Jan 23, 2024 · Chris WalkerVery sketchy maintenance is rare and utilize spit and toilet paper to make repairs. My front door hasn't locked since I moved in and it is reported by long term residents that the same key is used on every single trailer rented in the park. RV folk who come and stay only for a few months have no complaints but those of us renting the 20 to 40 year old trailers are pretty much ignored. Recently my mailbox key disappeared from my key chain and I haven't been able to check my mail for over a week.
Jun 07, 2021 · Jacqueline YoungWe came in from Illinois, was so pleased that they met us and helped us hook up after hours. We loved the family that owned the park. Was delightful and helpful. Was so close to the Cheifs and Royals Stadium, which was so helpful. We will stay again if ever thru K.C.We were coming thru again this year . . But under new ownership…
