Big Oaks RV Park Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Cedar Park, Texas area, Big Oaks RV Park, situated at 3330 W Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park, TX 78613, USA, presents a somewhat mixed but generally positive impression based on the available customer reviews. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of the RV park, incorporating these testimonials to offer an objective perspective. You can reach them by phone at (512) 267-1775 or via mobile at +1 512-267-1775 for direct inquiries.
When selecting an RV park, local users often consider factors such as the ease of access, the levelness and quality of the sites, the presence of pests, the condition of the roads within the park, the availability and cleanliness of amenities, the friendliness of the staff, and the overall environment. The two available customer reviews for Big Oaks RV Park touch upon several of these aspects, offering both positive and negative feedback.
One reviewer had a largely negative experience with specific sites (46 and 47), describing them as "awful" and "very unlevel," to the point where they couldn't even reach the ground with their RV stairs. This is a significant concern for the functionality and comfort of an RV stay. They also noted a "difficult u turn off the main road" for entry into the park, which could be challenging for larger RVs. Furthermore, their site was "infested with a huge anthill" near the sewer hookup, which invaded their new RV and took three days to eradicate. Lastly, they criticized the "rock roads" within the park as being "terrible to wake and drive on," suggesting a need for resurfacing with smaller stones. On the positive side, this reviewer mentioned that the "walking area in the back was nice," and "everything was fully functional." They also observed that there were "lots of long term residents" at the park.
The second reviewer offers a more positive perspective. They praised the staff for going "above and beyond" and being "friendly and helpful." They noted that despite a lot of rain during their stay, the "gravel roads and sites were good," which contradicts the first reviewer's experience with rock roads. This discrepancy might suggest variations in road surfaces within the park or different experiences based on weather conditions. The second reviewer found the "laundry room was exceptionally clean and easy to use." They did not see any bathroom facilities to comment on and suggested the addition of outdoor tables at the sites. They also mentioned that this was their second visit, and they appreciated the "fantastic views," indicating a pleasant surrounding environment. They expressed their intention to return due to family in the area and thanked "Seth" (presumably a staff member) for his communications.
Based on these reviews, the environment of Big Oaks RV Park is somewhat contradictory. One reviewer found the internal roads rough and the specific sites unlevel and prone to pests, while the other found the gravel roads and sites good even in the rain and appreciated the walking area and fantastic views. The presence of many long-term residents suggests a stable community. The entry to the park off the main road (W Whitestone Blvd) might be challenging due to the U-turn.

Big Oaks RV Park Reviews
Nice quiet park in general. But... the sites we had to choose from, 46 and 47, were awful. Very unlevel, couldn't even reach the ground with our stairs. See photo. Entry into the park is a, difficult u turn off the main road. Also, site was infested with huge anthill next to the sewer hookup, which invaded our brand new rv. It took 3 days to get rid of the ants. Lastly, the rock roads were terrible to wake and drive on. They need to resurface with proper, smaller, stone. On the plus side, the walking area in the back was nice, everything was fully functional. Lots of long term residents at this park.
May 02, 2025 · Andy FThe staff goes above and beyond, they are friendly and helpful. Rained a lot during our stay but the gravel roads and sites were good. Laundry room was exceptionally clean and easy to use.I did not see any bathroom facilities to comment on. I would recommend outdoor tables at the sites for when weather permits being outdoors. This was our second time visiting and the views are fantastic. We will return since we have family in the area to visit. Thank you Seth for all of you communications!

May 15, 2024 · Jordan HookerI lived full time on this site for a little over a year and always found the staff helpful and friendly. The laundry room is clean and up to date as well!!Location wise- this is a great spot in North Austin/Cedar Park and the commute into Central Austin was never more than 35 mins for me.The best feature I used was the propane exchange: easier & cheaper than any surrounding storesI am currently using a storage spot on the property, which is madly convenient if you’re transitioning out of an RV or need a storage spot for your vacationer.Overall I would recommend this park either for a weekend or for months. Much respect to the owners who genuinely work to make sure the park is safe, clean, and friendly.
