Lake Travis RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the vicinity of Lake Travis and Leander, Texas? Lake Travis RV Park, located at 19624 RM 1431, Leander, TX 78645, USA, with phone numbers (512) 713-1655 and +1 512-713-1655, presents itself as a potentially appealing option based on some initial feedback. This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed, objective overview of the RV park, drawing from the limited customer reviews available online.
One positive aspect highlighted by a reviewer is that the park is "nice." This general positive sentiment suggests that the overall appearance and atmosphere of Lake Travis RV Park might be agreeable to visitors. Furthermore, the reviewer specifically noted that the park is "quiet and tidy." These are desirable qualities for many RV travelers seeking a peaceful and well-maintained environment during their stay. A quiet park allows for relaxation and a good night's sleep, while a tidy environment suggests that the management takes pride in the upkeep of the grounds, contributing to a more pleasant experience for all guests.
Another reviewer, who rents a space at Lake Travis RV Park to stay near Austin a couple of days a week, indicates that they "keep a clean site, pay my bill on time, follow the park rules and I am rarely there." This suggests that the park has rules in place to maintain order and cleanliness, and that at least some residents are diligent in adhering to these regulations. This can contribute to the overall tidiness and potentially the quiet atmosphere mentioned by the other reviewer.
However, a significant concern raised by multiple reviewers revolves around the communication style of the park's communications team. One reviewer explicitly described their behavior as "very aggressive," especially considering they are in the hospitality industry. This is a serious point of concern, as negative interactions with management can significantly detract from the overall experience of staying at an RV park. Even if the physical environment is pleasant, poor communication can leave a lasting negative impression on guests.
The reviewer who experienced the "very aggressive behavior" in communication initially rated the park at four stars. However, due to these negative communication experiences, they lowered their rating to three stars and indicated they would revisit their review after their stay. This suggests that while the park might have some positive attributes, the issues with communication are substantial enough to impact the overall satisfaction of guests.
Another reviewer offered a potential explanation for the "aggressive tone during communications," suggesting that "there are people who are not complying" with park rules. While acknowledging this possibility, the reviewer strongly cautioned against "chasing off your good customers" in an attempt to address the behavior of a few non-compliant individuals. This highlights the importance of nuanced and customer-focused communication, especially in a service-oriented industry like hospitality. Overly aggressive communication, even if intended for a specific group, can negatively impact well-behaved guests and damage the park's reputation.
Based on the available reviews, the environment of Lake Travis RV Park appears to be generally "nice," "quiet," and "tidy." This suggests that the physical grounds are well-maintained and offer a peaceful setting for RVers. The proximity to Lake Travis could also imply a potentially scenic location with access to lake-related activities, although this is not explicitly confirmed in the provided reviews. The fact that one reviewer rents a space to be near Austin suggests that the park is within a reasonable driving distance of the city, offering a quieter alternative to staying directly in Austin.
Specific services and features of Lake Travis RV Park are not detailed in the provided reviews. However, as a standard expectation for an RV park, it likely offers essential amenities such as hookups for water, electricity, and sewage at each site. Given the mention of keeping a "clean site" and paying bills on time, it can be inferred that there are designated sites for RVs and a system for managing utilities and payments. Other common RV park amenities that might be available include restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and potentially Wi-Fi access, although these are not confirmed in the provided information. The fact that someone "rent the space" suggests that long-term stays might be an option in addition to short-term visits.
The reviews do not provide any information about specific features that might make Lake Travis RV Park stand out, such as recreational facilities, pet-friendly areas, or community spaces. The focus of the feedback is primarily on the general environment (quiet and tidy) and the significant issue of communication from the management. Potential guests who value specific amenities should inquire directly with the park to ascertain their availability.
No promotional information, discounts, or special offers are mentioned in the provided reviews. Individuals interested in the pricing structure, long-term rates, or any current promotions should contact Lake Travis RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers. Given the concerns raised about communication, it might be prudent to approach initial inquiries with a clear and polite demeanor to ensure a positive interaction.
In conclusion, for local users searching for "RV parks near me" near Lake Travis and Leander, Texas, Lake Travis RV Park offers the potential benefits of a quiet and tidy environment. Its location also provides proximity to both the lake and the city of Austin. However, a significant drawback highlighted in the customer reviews is the reported aggressive behavior from the communications team. This is a serious consideration for prospective guests, as negative interactions with management can significantly impact the overall experience. While the park may have its positive aspects, it is crucial for potential visitors to be aware of these communication concerns and to weigh them carefully against the park's other attributes. It might be advisable to proceed with caution and ensure clear and respectful communication during any inquiries or stay at Lake Travis RV Park.

Lake Travis RV Park Reviews
Just had a friend move in here. It's nice. It's quiet and tidy.
Apr 02, 2025 · C LoganVery aggressive behavior from the communications team especially for being in hospitality.I keep a clean site, pay my bill on time, follow the park rules and I am rarely there (rent the space to stay near Austin 2 days out of the the week).Im sure there are people who are not complying which is the reason for the aggressive tone during communications, but chasing off your good customers is no way to handle a few bad eggsWill revisit once I am done staying at the park, but started off at 4 stars, but again the communication has been aggressive so moving down to a 3 for now.
Sep 26, 2023 · Jacob wellsWe have stayed here for over a year now and couldn’t be more satisfied. The management/owners are approachable and very friendly. The folks that live here in general keep to themselves and work full time. Our favorite part of the park is that there is space in between spots. There are lots of trees and camping spots are not crowding out the natural beauty of the hill country. The park is rustic yet at the same time the owners are slowly transforming it. They are aware of what needs to be done but it is better than it was, when we first moved in.We take our laundry into town and use a laundromat in town. The location is wonderful too.Really happy to be here.
Sep 10, 2019 · Daisy MayI lived here for an extensive amount of time and there is no limit of words that can explain how bad it is. The “management” barely manages, and at times can be very unprofessional. It is not even clear who the owner(s) are. There are no paved roads along with no lighting at the entrance or anywhere around the park. My friends/family dropping or picking me up pass the place at least twice every time. There is a huge hole in the ground filled with god knows what in the center of the park. They tore down cedar trees and left brush everywhere, causing me and my family to suffer through unnecessarily enhanced allergies. They start “projects” and leave them unfinished for unlimited periods of time. Now there’s the laundry/shower place... It took “management” weeks to put in a working either washer or dryer, and if they do they leave the broken ones there for months. I will say the new appliances they put in there are semi decent and run alright. The place is basically falling apart. It is hornet, rat and cockroach infested. There've been mushrooms growing out of the floor as the tile has come apart and the bare rotting wood is exposed beneath. Some windows do not even have glass and are covered with boards. There was no knob on the shower for awhile, until another resident put one on, as we were using our own pair of pliers to shower. Oh and not to mention the lack of air conditioning.. The place is never cleaned. If you’re considering an RV park to stay in for a long time, I’d heavily recommend taking your business elsewhere.
Sep 06, 2019 · RelentlessHappy with my recent stay. We spoke with the owners that told us they were slowly improving the park. It was just like they described. It has great trees, private sites and is pretty quiet. If you are looking for a short term or want to stay for a few months, check them out.
