Blue Coral Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Erie, Pennsylvania area? Blue Coral, located at 411 Kelso Dr, Erie, PA 16509, USA, with contact numbers (814) 746-4761 and +1 814-746-4761, presents a somewhat evolving picture based on the available customer reviews. To provide local users with an objective introduction, we will analyze these reviews, which span several years and management changes, to understand the environment, services, and features of this mobile home park.
One of the earliest reviews indicates a positive long-term living experience. The reviewer initially stated they had lived there for about five years and loved it. This suggests that, at least at one point, Blue Coral offered a satisfactory living environment for its residents. An update from the same reviewer, three years later (indicating eight years of residency in total), reveals a shift in their sentiment. By January 2023, the rent had increased to $600 per month, and the reviewer expressed concerns that "they don't do much" for this increased cost. Specific issues mentioned included the presence of a few abandoned homes needing demolition and trees that needed to be taken down, with the reviewer noting that no action was being taken on these matters. This suggests a period of neglect or lack of maintenance that negatively impacted the resident's perception of the park and its value for the rent being charged. The reviewer's desire to move their home out, coupled with a lack of funds, highlights the frustration of feeling "stuck" in a situation where the cost of living was increasing without corresponding improvements in the park's condition.
However, a subsequent update from the same reviewer offers a more optimistic outlook due to a change in ownership. They mention, "Another up-date, again new owners. BUT they have done a lot of work. Trimmed trees, washed trailers and/or painted trailers, fixing abandoned trailers. That's great!" This indicates that the new management has been proactive in addressing some of the previously mentioned issues, such as overgrown trees and the presence of abandoned homes. The efforts to wash and/or paint trailers suggest an attempt to improve the overall aesthetic of the park. This positive development signals a potential turning point for Blue Coral and could be encouraging for prospective residents seeking "RV parks near me" that are under improving management.
Despite these positive initial actions by the new owners, the long-term resident expresses a concern about a potential future rent increase, stating, "BUT now I'm waiting for the lot rent to up." This indicates a degree of apprehension about the financial implications of the improvements being made. It suggests that while residents appreciate the enhanced maintenance and appearance of the park, they are also wary of potential cost increases that might strain their budgets.
The third review provides a completely different perspective, focusing on the experience of a prospective resident attempting to inquire about the park. The reviewer states, "Put in my info weeks ago and called to check on my situation since no returned calls and in fact wad rude and hung up on me." This feedback raises concerns about the responsiveness and professionalism of the park's management when dealing with potential new residents. A lack of communication and rude behavior can be a significant deterrent for those considering moving into Blue Coral, regardless of the physical improvements being made.
Considering these reviews, the environment, services, and features of Blue Coral appear to be in a state of transition. Historically, it was a place where at least one long-term resident felt happy living. However, there was a period of perceived neglect and increasing rent without commensurate maintenance. The recent change in ownership seems to have initiated positive physical improvements within the park, addressing issues like overgrown trees and abandoned homes. This suggests a potential for an improved living environment in terms of aesthetics and maintenance.
In terms of services and features, the reviews provide limited direct information. Typically, a mobile home park offers basic infrastructure such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups for mobile homes and RVs (though the term "RV parks near me" in the context of manufactured home parks can be a bit misleading, as they primarily cater to long-term or permanent manufactured homes). The fact that residents are paying lot rent implies that they are leasing the land on which their homes are situated and likely have access to these basic utilities. The mention of abandoned homes suggests that the park accommodates individual manufactured homes on leased lots.
The ongoing efforts by the new owners to trim trees, wash/paint trailers, and fix abandoned homes indicate a focus on improving the overall maintenance and appearance of the park. However, the lack of mention of communal amenities such as laundry facilities, community centers, or recreational areas suggests that these might not be significant features of Blue Coral, or at least were not noteworthy enough to be mentioned in these specific reviews. The concern about potential rent increases following these improvements is a crucial financial consideration for current and future residents.
The negative experience of the prospective resident highlights a potential issue with the management's communication and customer service towards inquiries from potential new residents. This could be a significant drawback for those trying to learn more about the park and the process of moving in.
No specific promotional information is provided in the reviews. Local users interested in learning about current lot availability, rental rates (beyond the $600 mentioned as of January 2023), application processes, and any specific amenities or community rules would need to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers. It would be advisable to inquire about the management's communication practices and their plans for addressing ongoing maintenance needs and potential rent adjustments.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Erie, PA, who might be considering Blue Coral for manufactured home living, the recent changes in ownership and the initiation of park improvements are positive signs. However, the history of rent increases without corresponding maintenance and the reported poor communication with a prospective resident should also be taken into account. It would be prudent to seek updated information from the management and possibly try to speak with current residents to get a balanced view of the current living conditions and management practices at Blue Coral.
In conclusion, Blue Coral in Erie, PA, is a mobile home park that has experienced both positive long-term residency and periods of concern regarding maintenance and rent increases. A recent change in ownership has brought about improvements to the park's physical appearance. However, potential residents should be aware of past issues and the reported poor communication with prospective inquiries. Direct contact with the management is crucial to obtain current information on lot availability, rental costs, amenities, and management practices to determine if Blue Coral is a suitable option for those seeking a manufactured home community within the "RV parks near me" category in Erie, PA.

Blue Coral Reviews
I've lived here about 5 years and love it!Up-date, it's now been 8 years. And in January of 2023 the rent was increased to $600 a month. And they don't do much. There a few abandoned homes here, that need demolished(still waiting!)and trees that need to come down. But nothing is being done. I wish I could move my home out. But with the lack of funds, I can't. So I'm stuck here till I can't afford the rent.Another up-date, again new owners. BUT they have done a lot of work. Trimmed trees, washed trailers and/or painted trailers, fixing abandoned trailers. That's great! BUT now I'm waiting for the lot rent to up.
