Bogue Pines Mobile Home Community Introduce
For local users exploring "RV Parks Near Me" with a focus on finding a long-term residential community, Bogue Pines Mobile Home Community, located at 25 Whispering Pines Rd, Newport, NC 28570, USA, presents a mobile home park setting. While the platform category is "RV Parks Near Me," it's important to understand that mobile home parks primarily cater to manufactured homes on rented or leased lots, often representing a more permanent living arrangement than typical short-term RV parks. However, some mobile home communities may accommodate long-term RV residents as well, making them a potential option for those seeking an extended stay in the Newport area.
The available information for Bogue Pines Mobile Home Community includes its name, address, contact phone numbers, and two contrasting customer reviews. These reviews offer a glimpse into the potential living experience at this community, highlighting both positive and negative aspects that prospective residents should consider.
One reviewer shares a significantly negative experience, detailing numerous issues encountered upon moving into a "brand spanking new Clayton Mobile Home." These problems included a non-functional septic system, a water heater that didn't work, crooked cabinets, and a dishwasher door that collided with a cabinet knob. The reviewer explicitly states that "this was just the beginning of a nightmare," suggesting a multitude of unresolved issues beyond the initial ones. Furthermore, they mention that their lot was "full of glass from tearing down a home and not cleaning it up" and that they had been picking up glass for over three months. This indicates a potential lack of attention to detail in preparing lots for new residents and a possible safety concern.
Adding to the negative feedback, this reviewer claims that "the office people don’t care about residence" and that the "lot rent has already gone up $30.00" within their short residency. Based on this account, the reviewer concludes that the community is "way over priced" and strongly advises against living there, stating, "Wouldn’t recommend living here to anyone!!!!"
In stark contrast, another reviewer expresses a highly positive experience, stating, "We’ve lived here for over two years and have truly met the most wonderful people we’ve ever met! I love our home and our neighbors!" This feedback highlights a strong sense of community and positive social interactions among some residents. The reviewer explicitly mentions loving their home and neighbors, suggesting a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for them.
Given these conflicting reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive picture of the overall environment and services at Bogue Pines Mobile Home Community. The negative review points to potential issues with property maintenance, responsiveness of management, and the value proposition of the lot rent. The presence of significant initial problems with a new mobile home and the lack of thorough cleanup on a lot are concerning aspects for prospective residents.
On the other hand, the positive review emphasizes the strong sense of community and positive relationships with neighbors, which can be a significant draw for those seeking a supportive and friendly living environment. The long tenure of the positive reviewer (over two years) suggests that some residents have a satisfactory experience at Bogue Pines.
Without further information, it is difficult to ascertain the typical services and features offered at Bogue Pines Mobile Home Community. Based on general knowledge of such communities, potential offerings might include:
- Individual lots for mobile homes with utility hookups (water, electricity, sewer).
- Roadways providing access throughout the community.
- Basic maintenance of common areas.

It is unknown whether Bogue Pines offers additional amenities such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, a community center, or specific services for residents. The conflicting reviews do not provide insights into these aspects.

- Contacting the management directly using the provided phone numbers: (252) 240-4666 or +1 252-240-4666 to inquire about lot availability, rental costs, community rules, and the process for moving in.
- Asking specific questions based on the negative review, such as the typical process for preparing lots for new residents, the responsiveness of the maintenance and office staff, and the reasons for recent rent increases.
- Attempting to speak with current residents (if possible) to gain a broader perspective on the living experience at Bogue Pines.
- Visiting the community in person to assess the overall environment, the condition of the lots and common areas, and the general atmosphere.
- Checking for additional online reviews on other platforms to see if a more consistent picture emerges regarding resident satisfaction.
In conclusion, Bogue Pines Mobile Home Community in Newport, NC, presents a mixed picture based on the limited available customer reviews. While one resident reports a significantly negative experience with property issues and management responsiveness, another highlights a positive sense of community and neighborly relationships. Prospective residents should carefully weigh these contrasting perspectives and conduct thorough research to determine if Bogue Pines aligns with their long-term living needs and expectations. The lack of detailed information about the community's amenities and services further underscores the importance of direct inquiry and on-site evaluation.

Thought this was a perfect place to live. Moved into a brand spanking new Clayton Mobile Home and the septic was not hooked up, water heater didn’t work, cabinets were crooked, dish washer door hit side cabinet knob…this was just the beginning of a nightmare. Lot full of glass from tearing down a home and not cleaning it up. Been here for over 3 months and still picking up glass. The office people don’t care about residence and the lot rent has already gone up $30.00. This place is way over priced. Wouldn’t recommend living here to anyone!!!!
