When looking for a place to live, whether in an RV park for temporary stays or a mobile home park for a more permanent residence, understanding the environment, the services provided, and the overall living experience is crucial. Mobile home parks typically offer long-term living arrangements where residents either own or rent their mobile homes and lease the land. While the platform category is "RV parks near me," it's important to note that the provided information pertains to a mobile home park, and its suitability for RVs is not specified. Therefore, individuals specifically seeking RV accommodations should directly inquire with Camelot Village about their policies and facilities for recreational vehicles.
Streetsboro, Ohio, is situated in Portage County, a region with a mix of residential, commercial, and natural areas. The specific environment surrounding Camelot Village is not detailed in the provided information. Local users may wish to visit the area around Frost Road to assess its proximity to local amenities, transportation links, and the general neighborhood character. Factors such as noise levels, traffic, and the availability of nearby shopping, schools, and healthcare facilities can influence the desirability of a location.
Information regarding the specific services and features of Camelot Village is limited beyond the customer reviews. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential utility hookups such as water, electricity, and sewage. Some parks may also provide additional amenities like on-site management, laundry facilities, community centers, playgrounds, or garbage removal services. The quality and reliability of these services can significantly impact the residents' quality of life. Potential residents should directly inquire with the management of Camelot Village about the full range of services offered and any associated costs.
The customer reviews provide significant insights into the recent experiences of residents at Camelot Village. It is important to note that these are individual accounts and may not represent the views of all residents. However, the consistent themes and strong negative sentiments expressed in these reviews warrant careful attention from prospective residents.
Several reviewers highlight concerns regarding the management and their approach to rules and regulations. One review describes a "sad show of force" involving towing cars parked on the road, followed by a quick return to the same parking behavior. This suggests potential issues with consistent enforcement of community rules. The same reviewer labels the trailer park as "absolute garbage" and criticizes the annual rent increases, alleging that these increases are not justified by market competition or park maintenance. They claim that a nearby trailer park in Ravenna offers significantly cheaper rent and better maintenance.
Further complaints include annual increases in trash and water fees, as well as monthly water shutoffs for "maintenance" and recurring annual power outages. One resident reports frozen pipes in the winter due to being financially strained by the increasing fees, which they claim are not adequately explained by the management. The value of community events is also questioned by a resident who states they are often at work and unable to attend.
The reviews also express strong dissatisfaction with the management's lack of care for residents, particularly retirees on fixed incomes. One reviewer draws a negative comparison to their time in the military, suggesting a similar feeling of being controlled and uncared for. The management is described as "petty," and the social media page is alleged to be monitored by "boot kissers and brown nosers" who defend the management against criticism.
Another significant concern raised is the handling of maintenance requests. One reviewer describes the maintenance as "incompetent," unable to perform basic tasks correctly and becoming "mean" when asked to return for rework. Communication regarding maintenance schedules is also criticized, with no notification of delays or rescheduling. Furthermore, the lack of snow plowing and salting on roads (except sometimes the main entrance) during winter is highlighted as a safety issue.
Updates to the reviews further detail negative experiences with maintenance, including improperly done repairs, blaming residents for pre-existing issues, and significant delays in addressing repair requests (over 30 days). The management is described as "extremely unprofessional" when confronted about poor service, particularly regarding winter road safety. One resident reports paying $1400 per month in rent (as a renter, implying potentially different rates for homeowners) and yet still experiencing unresolved maintenance issues, such as a leaking screen door causing water damage.
Given this overwhelmingly negative feedback regarding management practices, maintenance quality, and increasing costs, local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living at Camelot Village should proceed with extreme caution. While the park's physical environment and specific amenities are not detailed, the consistent complaints about the management and living conditions raise serious concerns about the overall quality of life within the community.
Prospective residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence before making any decisions. This should include contacting the management to inquire about current rates, fees, services, and policies. However, given the nature of the reviews, it would be particularly prudent to seek out and speak with current residents directly (outside of any management-controlled settings) to gain a more unbiased perspective on the living conditions and management practices at Camelot Village. Asking about their experiences with rent increases, maintenance responsiveness, community rules enforcement, and overall satisfaction could provide valuable insights.
For those specifically looking for "RV parks near me," it is crucial to ascertain whether Camelot Village even accommodates RVs and, if so, what facilities and services are available for recreational vehicles. Given the strong focus on mobile home issues in the reviews, it is possible that RV stays are either not offered or are not a primary focus of the park.
In conclusion, while Camelot Village is a mobile home park located in Streetsboro, OH, the overwhelmingly negative customer reviews raise significant concerns regarding its management, maintenance, and overall living conditions. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living in this area are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough independent research, and seek direct feedback from current residents before making any decisions about residing at Camelot Village.

Camelot Village Reviews
I find it funny how this trailer park is all about rules and regulations then they perform a sad show of force by having a towing company come and tow all the cars parked in the road. Not even a day later people are back to parking on the roads. This trailer park is absolute garbage and ontop of that they raise the rent every year regardless of actual need. They say it's for competition against other trailer parks, but if you take 2 seconds to research another park around the area you'll find that to be a lie as well. The trailer park in route 14 to ravenna is 200 dollars cheaper and whenever I drive past it actually looks like they give a crap about maintaining it. Not only do they raise the trash and water every year but they also shut it off every month for "maintenance" and we lose power pretty much every year the same time. I can't even use my water in the winter because my pipes are frozen, because I'm too broke trying to keep up with all these extra charges to my account they don't even bother explaining. But thank goodness we have community events planned that I never go too because I'm at work more than I'm even at my own home. In order to survive in this market full of "competition" you need to work atleast 60 hours a week. What's even more funny is the fact that people retired here! Not one person who gets paid to make our lives miserable here actually cares about that, or cares that some people have a fixed income or even want to have lives of their own. I should've just stayed in the military if I knew that it would be the same thing out here too. The company who owns this park makes multi millons on us and we don't even see any change unless the have a new manager taking place. Your trailer needs repairs and you have no money to fix it? They'll help you by emailing you your eviction notice. The people who own this place are very petty and you can see in the social media page that they've got an army of boot kissers and brown nosers at the ready to argue over any post that isn't praising the park management team for doing the jobs they get paid for. It's amazing how you have the manager having a power trip in the main Facebook page saying she's leaving because of all the hate then 2 days later you can still see the person in the group page just confirming the fact that they are just like a child throwing a temper tantrum because all of Camelot isn't filled with joy about having their rent go up another 30 dollars
Dec 17, 2024 · SleekorangeWhen we first moved in not even a month later they raised the rent which is stupid don’t know why they didn’t just add it so we knew this place was going to be over our budget because when we came in they said they had a place for 1200$ a month that was in our budget then when we came to sign they said it will be 1250$ witch already went way over our budget and then they raised it a month later after we moved in and I’m sure they are going to just keep raising it for no reason. The maintenance here are incompetent, can’t even do their jobs right. They can’t even do the basic stuff and it’s sad why hire maintenance people if they can’t even do the job. Then they get mean towards you because you have to keep having to ask for them to come back because they can’t do the job right the first time. Maintenance also sucks at communicating things like if they can’t come the day they are scheduled to come no one calls or tells you and try’s to reschedule anything. The roads do not get plowed or salted during the winter a whole month went by with it not being done once. The only road they will do is the main one pulling into the park and not even that one sometimes.Update to their response on here:I emailed them and it took them a week to reply. When maintenance came to repair the closet the first time they even said it was installed with screws to short, they got screws to go in deeper but didn’t level the other sides when fixing it so the middle part is now height then the side parts and now the whole thing keeps popping off because they didn’t do it right either and they keep trying to put the blame on me for something that broke on me the day after I moved in because it was installed improperly and I only hung 20 shirts on it because that’s what it’s meant for and it came out of the wall, they say it is my problem because it looked fine when we moved in. Just because something looks okay doesn’t mean it’s not done properly or broken. I barely put anything on the closet shelf other than 20 shirts that made it fall from the wall that’s not even that much weight but they are putting the blame on me. So it you decide to move into this crappy place with crappy management make sure you test everything and look at every detail you can’t not trust these people they will lie to you.Update:Another year and still can’t do their jobs right. They are extremely unprofessional when you try to tell them that they aren’t doing a good job especially during the winter time keeping the roads safe, they have not been salting even though they like to clam they have but I have pictures and video proof showing otherwise. When it comes to them having to repairs takes them way over 30days and make excuses as to why it is taken so long. Please do yourself a favor and don’t live here it’s horrible will be moving out asap. We are now paying 1400$ a month Because we rent, they raise the rent yet can’t do what they are supposed to do stated in the contract. Still haven’t have the screen door I told them about fixed either months ago because it’s allowing water to seep in through the door causing a huge puddle on the floor any time it rains.
Jan 22, 2025 · Elisha WhittenI love this here, peaceful place and friendly neighbors. I think people may complain stuff but one thing is amazing here is that if the one needs help, neighbors are ready to help one another. Also, we live here like a year now and I noticed the improvement of the new management in the office. I really appreciate your hard work guys. ❤️
Dec 08, 2024 · Bing MetzJust rent an apartment. The people working at this place are clueless. No one is ever on the same page. Rent changes constantly despite your lease agreement. The water gets turned off for emergencies several times every single month with no warning. If you have a newborn baby this is a MAJOR problem. You will constantly have to leave your home to take care of yourself and your kids. Unable to warm up a bottle safely, wash your hands, give baby a bath, etc. Half the trailers are run down looking, need power washed and cleared out. It is not worth the $700 lot rent every month, let alone if you rent a trailer as well. There’s an empty trailer that I’ve seen people use for drug drop offs. More rules than an HOA. I absolutely hate it here. 🥰
Dec 02, 2024 · Jessica WrightBeware! Worst place I have ever lived. They will shut off the park’s water several times a month, they rarely salt the roads during the winter, maintenance requests go ignored and can take weeks, they let dangerous people sublease the homes and won’t evict them after multiple police reports. When I lost my job, I sent them a letter giving notice that my family and I would vacate before the next month. They filed and eviction anyway after we left (served it on an empty house) and tried to sue me for many months of rent for several months afterwards when I wasn’t even living in the state. I fought them in court, and when things didn’t go their way, they sold my “debt” to a collections company that is now trying to come after me for a totally random and ridiculous $11,000. I feel absolutely scammed by Camelot Village! I advise for everyone to go elsewhere and not bother with this terrible place. I implore any person interested in living here to speak to any current tenant of this community and they will tell you that management is a nightmare and no one feels safe. Please see the photos of solid sheets of ice on the roads and at the mailboxes.
