Pine Gate Introduce
For local users searching under the category of "rv parks near me" and considering various accommodation options in the Ravenna, Ohio area, Pine Gate, situated at 6615 Cleveland Rd C10, Ravenna, OH 44266, USA, presents itself as a mobile home park with potentially varying perceptions among its residents. While the primary function appears to be long-term residential living in mobile homes, it's possible that the park also accommodates recreational vehicles for shorter or longer stays, thus placing it within the purview of those seeking "rv parks near me." To provide an objective introduction, it's crucial to consider the contrasting viewpoints expressed in the available customer reviews.
The environment of Pine Gate, based on the limited information, appears to have undergone changes over time. One long-term former resident recalls a more vibrant community atmosphere under previous ownership, mentioning "fun costume contests at Halloween and hay rides and bon fires." This suggests that in the past, the park fostered a sense of community and organized social activities. However, this reviewer expresses a strong negative sentiment regarding the current state, indicating a perceived decline in upkeep and management. They mention issues such as "trailers falling into the creek" with alleged inaction from the management regarding maintenance of the creek and surrounding grounds. Furthermore, concerns are raised about potential flooding from the creek and the presence of pests like "sewer rats," "skunks," and "raccoons." This paints a picture of a potentially deteriorating physical environment in certain areas of the park.
In stark contrast, a more recent review offers a significantly different perspective, describing the park as "immaculate" and "not trashy," contradicting the negative portrayal of disrepair. This reviewer found the park to be "well kept" and the people "friendly," suggesting that efforts are being made to maintain a positive living environment, at least in some areas or for some residents. The mention of hearing "only crickets and frogs" and the description of the park as "very peaceful" indicates that a sense of tranquility can be experienced within the community, which could be appealing to those seeking a quiet residential or RV park.
Regarding services and features, the information available is limited and somewhat contradictory. The historical account suggests that under previous management, social events and community-building activities were features of the park. However, the negative review implies a lack of essential services or responsiveness to maintenance issues, particularly concerning the creek and potential hazards. The positive review, while praising the cleanliness and peacefulness, does not elaborate on specific services or amenities offered. It is unclear whether Pine Gate provides typical RV park amenities such as hookups for water, electricity, and sewage, laundry facilities, communal restrooms, or recreational areas. Given its nature as a mobile home park, the focus is likely on providing a stable residential environment with basic infrastructure for long-term living. The discrepancy between the reviews makes it challenging to definitively describe the current services and features without further information.
The features of Pine Gate are also subject to interpretation based on the contrasting reviews. The potential for a peaceful environment, as highlighted by one reviewer, could be a significant feature for those seeking a quiet residential or RV stay. The sense of community that reportedly existed in the past might still be present to some extent. However, the serious allegations of neglect, safety concerns related to the creek, and pest issues raised by the former resident cannot be ignored. These would represent significant negative features that potential residents or RVers would need to consider. The fact that it is a mobile home park suggests a focus on long-term residency, but the possibility of accommodating RVs for various durations warrants its inclusion in the "rv parks near me" category for those exploring all available options.
Promotional information is entirely absent from the provided text. There are no mentions of special offers, discounts, or incentives for new residents or RV guests. Local users interested in potentially residing at Pine Gate or staying there with an RV would need to directly contact the park management using the provided phone numbers, (330) 296-1398 or +1 330-296-1398, to inquire about current availability, rental rates, rules and regulations, and any specific services offered to RVers. They would also need to seek clarification on the conflicting information presented in the reviews regarding the park's condition and management practices. It would be prudent to visit the location in person, if possible, to form their own assessment of the environment and upkeep.
In conclusion, Pine Gate in Ravenna, Ohio, presents a complex picture for local users searching for "rv parks near me" or considering a mobile home park for long-term residency. While one recent review portrays it as an "immaculate" and "peaceful" place with friendly people, a former long-term resident describes a significant decline in the park's condition and management, raising serious concerns about maintenance, safety, and pest issues. The lack of specific information about RV amenities and the conflicting accounts necessitate thorough due diligence by any potential residents or RV visitors. Direct contact with the park management is essential to obtain current and accurate information regarding availability, services, fees, and the overall living environment at Pine Gate.

Pine Gate Reviews
Used to love it here when Bob and Becky Hanna owned it. They did fun costume contests at Halloween and hay rides and bon fires. This place has epically gone down hill and I have lived there for long time and seen it go down hill so glad to have moved out. They keep uping the prices and not doing any park fixing. I know there are trailers falling into the creek and they don't help when it's tech. The park fault cause they not keeping the creek and ground they own right. Let alone all the times the creek floods and ruins all your stuff. Sewer rats there lots of skunks living in back of park under someone shed and they fee them. And raccoons are also bad there. Good luck I don't think people should live here. Bad area, and bad people/kids. I know a kid punched someone on that bus and got into trouble and the kids jumped that kid in that same park. Is anyone in trouble def not. Def not my kids my kids are good I'm so glad to be out of there and that school is the worst. They don't care about you.

Dec 03, 2024 · Carl PurkI have lived here since 2010 but one year I had my license wrongfully suspended and was only able to drive certain days and certain hours so when I went and paid my bills I got my money order for rent and as I was on my way home I forgot to drop it off on the 5th of that month. Later I got a letter telling me I didn't pay rent which was true. I finally looked in my wallet and noticed it was in my wallet the whole time. So I went and paid a late fee for the first time which on my lease you are allowed to be late three times before you can get an eviction from them. But I got evicted the first time and was taken to court because horizon did not accept my rent and the late fee the $50 and was charged $1,000 on top of rent. And believe me the list goes on. But I still pray for horizon management and I hope they get better and the park gets better too cuz I want the best for them.WWJD --- WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?He's coming back soon so we need to be ready and tell the LOST about the COST of the CROSS to God the father he plead for US. Did you get the message?
