Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users in the Kent, Ohio area exploring housing options, including those who might be searching for "RV parks near me" as well as those interested in mobile home communities, Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park, located at 1915 OH-59, Kent, OH 44240, USA, warrants careful consideration. They can be contacted at (330) 697-7343 or +1 330-697-7343 for further information.
When seeking a place to live, whether in an RV park for temporary stays or a mobile home park for a more permanent residence, understanding the environment, the services provided, and the overall living experience is crucial. Mobile home parks typically offer long-term living arrangements where residents either own or rent their mobile homes and lease the land. While the platform category is "RV parks near me," it's important to note that the provided information pertains to a mobile home park, and while one review mentions camper living, its primary focus appears to be mobile homes. Therefore, individuals specifically seeking RV accommodations should directly inquire with Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park about their policies and facilities for recreational vehicles.
Kent, Ohio, is a city in Portage County, known for being the home of Kent State University. The area offers a mix of residential, commercial, and natural landscapes. The specific environment of Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park, situated on OH-59, would be influenced by its proximity to these various aspects of Kent. Potential residents may wish to investigate the immediate surroundings of the park to assess its accessibility to local amenities, transportation links, and the general neighborhood character. Factors such as traffic on OH-59, the presence of nearby businesses, and the overall aesthetic of the area could be important considerations.
Information regarding the specific services and features of Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park is somewhat limited, but the customer reviews provide some insights. One reviewer notes the presence of a "shower & laundry room," indicating these basic amenities are available. However, they also describe the property as "basically, it's a mowed field w camper hook-ups," suggesting a lack of significant landscaping or other developed features. The reviewer also mentions that the "very few trees on the property r practically dead or dying," which could impact the aesthetic appeal and shade within the park.
The first customer review expresses several negative points. They state that the park's Facebook page does not accurately represent the actual place. They also claim that the prices are "very high 4 the lack of services," suggesting a potential mismatch between the cost of living and the amenities provided. A particularly concerning point is the mention of being charged extra for people to stay in their own camper, which could be a significant drawback for those who have guests. The reviewer also reports being attacked by red ants, indicating a potential pest issue. Furthermore, they mention that a company across the street regularly throws broken glass in and around the dumpster, suggesting a potential safety and maintenance concern.
On a slightly more positive note, the first reviewer mentions that if you live in a camper, the cost is "ok." This suggests that the pricing structure might be more favorable for RV residents compared to mobile home owners or renters. However, this is juxtaposed with the overall negative assessment of the park.
The second customer review is brief and appears to be unrelated to the mobile home park. It states, "Very good for a fast food restaurant very good sit down and no wait." This review seems to be misattributed or refers to an entirely different type of establishment and should not be considered when evaluating Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park.
Given the predominantly negative feedback from the first reviewer, local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living at Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park should proceed with caution and conduct thorough research. The discrepancy between the Facebook page's representation and the reviewer's experience is a significant red flag. The high prices relative to the perceived lack of services, the dying trees, the extra charges for guests in campers, the ant attack, and the issue with broken glass around the dumpster all point to potential problems with the park's management, maintenance, and overall living environment.
For those specifically interested in RV living, while one reviewer found the cost "ok," the limited amenities described (essentially just hookups, a shower, and laundry) might not meet the needs of many RV travelers seeking a more comprehensive campground experience. The lack of trees and the description of a "mowed field" suggest a potentially unshaded and basic environment. It is crucial for RV owners to contact the park directly to inquire about the specific types of hookups available (water, electricity, sewer), the size and condition of the sites, and any other amenities relevant to RV camping.
For those considering mobile home living, the high prices for the lack of services, the poor condition of the landscaping, and the other negative issues raised in the review should be carefully weighed. Prospective mobile home residents should inquire about lot rental fees, the process for placing a mobile home in the park, any restrictions on the age or size of mobile homes, and the terms of the lease agreement. It would also be prudent to ask about the frequency and quality of maintenance services, pest control measures, and the overall management of the community.
Visiting Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park in person would be a crucial step for any potential resident. This would allow for a firsthand assessment of the park's environment, the condition of the grounds and facilities, and the overall atmosphere. Observing the trees, the landscaping, the dumpster area, and the general upkeep of the property would be important. Meeting with the management to discuss their policies, fees, and responses to the concerns raised in the review would also be essential. If possible, attempting to speak with current residents (while being mindful of respecting their privacy) could provide additional insights into the daily living experience at Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park.
In conclusion, Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park in Kent, OH, has received a largely negative review highlighting concerns about misleading representations, high prices for limited services, poor landscaping, extra charges for guests in campers, pest issues, and safety concerns related to a neighboring business. While one reviewer found the cost of camper living to be acceptable, the overall picture presented suggests potential drawbacks. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living at this location are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, visit the park in person, and seek direct feedback from current residents before making any decisions.

Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park Reviews
The Facebook page is not a true representation of the actual place. The very few trees on the property r practically dead or dying. The prices r very high 4 the lack of services. The only positive is that if u live in a camper the cost is ok. There is a shower & laundry room. Even the grass is dying. Basically, it's a mowed field w camper hook-ups. U will be charged extra 4 ppl 2 stay in YOUR OWN camper! (Just a side note- I was attacked by red ants) The company across the street regularly throws broken glass in & around the dumpster.

Feb 18, 2023 · gabe boganThis place has gone to squalor over the last decade. It's a total trash heap. (Ghetto!)
