Candlewood Park Introduce
Local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Clifton, Colorado area might come across Candlewood Park, located at 424 32 Rd, Clifton, CO 81520, USA, with phone numbers (970) 432-4731 and +1 970-432-4731. While the platform category might suggest RV accommodations, Candlewood Park is a mobile home park offering long-term residency for manufactured homes. The limited online reviews present a somewhat contradictory view of the community, with concerns raised about upkeep juxtaposed with positive feedback regarding the management's assistance to new residents.
One review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the maintenance of Candlewood Park, stating it is "Unkeept for the lot rent price." This suggests a perceived lack of value for the cost of residing in the community. The reviewer further elaborates on this by mentioning a disparity in rent, where "They raise lot rent for new owners, but the people with fixed rate rent are going in trashing the place." This implies a potential issue with long-term residents not adhering to community standards, contributing to the park's unkempt appearance. The serious concern of "Unhoused live in vacant areas of the place" also raises significant safety and security questions for current and prospective residents.
The condition of the children's recreational facilities is also criticized, with the "swing set and playground for kids" described as "outdated." This suggests a lack of investment in amenities that are important for families with children. The reviewer further states that "The management crew hasn't made real changes with the upkeep of the place" and suggests a need to "hire more people to clean this place up." This reinforces the concern about inadequate maintenance and implies that the current management efforts are insufficient to address the issues.
Despite these criticisms, the reviewer acknowledges that it is "a beautiful area," suggesting that the location of Candlewood Park has inherent appeal. However, this natural beauty is seemingly undermined by the behavior of some residents who "do not bid by the current rules." The reviewer also notes that "The park has bought new homes and remodels some old ones," indicating some investment in the housing stock. However, they suggest that the budget priorities should be shifted towards "replacing or fixing the streets and parking areas," as well as investing in a "New playground and swing" and actively assisting current homeowners with "getting trash out of their yards." The specific mention of offering "grass seed" but not delivering it highlights a perceived disconnect between stated intentions and actual implementation by the management.
In contrast to this critical review, another resident offers a highly positive experience with the management team. This reviewer states, "Wanted to thank Silvia and Vanessa and everyone else in the community office that helped me get into a new home in such short time, you guys helped me out a lot more than my own family did thank you!" This feedback indicates that at least some members of the management team are helpful, efficient, and provide significant support to individuals moving into the community, particularly those acquiring new homes within the park.
Considering these contrasting reviews, Candlewood Park presents a complex picture. While there are significant concerns regarding the overall upkeep of the community, the behavior of some long-term residents, the presence of unhoused individuals in vacant areas, and the outdated playground, there is also evidence of a supportive management team that can be very helpful to new residents, particularly those purchasing new homes within the park. The park's location in a "beautiful area" is also a potential positive attribute.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might be considering a longer-term stay in a mobile home park, Candlewood Park offers both potential benefits and significant drawbacks based on the available feedback. The helpfulness of the management, especially during the process of moving into a new home, could be a major advantage for some. However, the reported issues with the park's upkeep, the behavior of some residents, and the presence of unhoused individuals raise serious concerns about the overall living environment and safety.
Potential local residents should conduct a thorough personal investigation before making any decisions about Candlewood Park, including:
- **Visiting the property in person:** A direct visit would allow for an assessment of the current condition of the park, including the cleanliness of the grounds, the state of the streets and parking areas, the condition of the playground, and the general appearance of the mobile homes and vacant areas.
- **Attempting to speak with current residents:** Engaging with residents could provide firsthand accounts of their experiences with the management, the enforcement of community rules, the safety and security of the park, and the overall quality of life. Seeking perspectives from both newer and long-term residents might offer a more balanced view.
- **Specifically inquiring about maintenance and security:** Directly asking the management about their plans for addressing the upkeep of the park, the condition of the infrastructure and amenities, and the presence of unhoused individuals in vacant areas is crucial. Understanding their security measures is also important.
- **Inquiring about community rules and their enforcement:** Understanding the current rules and how they are enforced could provide insight into the potential for the issues raised in the negative review to be addressed.
As the provided information lacks details about specific services, features beyond the playground, or any promotional offers for prospective residents (other than the assistance with new homes), these would be important areas of inquiry when contacting the management. Understanding lot rental fees, utility provisions, waste management, and any community amenities is crucial for a comprehensive assessment.
In conclusion, Candlewood Park in Clifton, Colorado, presents a mixed picture based on the available online reviews. While the management team appears to be supportive of new residents, significant concerns exist regarding the overall upkeep of the park, the behavior of some long-term residents, potential security issues, and the outdated condition of the playground. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" who are considering Candlewood Park for longer-term living should proceed with caution and conduct a thorough on-site investigation to determine if the positive aspects outweigh the reported negatives for their individual needs and expectations.

Candlewood Park Reviews
Unkeept for the lot rent price. They raise lot rent for new owners, but the people with fixed rate rent are going in trashing the place. Unhoused live in vacant areas of the place. The swing set and playground for kids is outdated. The management crew hasn't made real changes with the upkeep of the place. They need to hire more people to clean this place up. It's a beautiful area, but people who live here for a while do not bid by the current rules. The park has bought new homes and remodles some old ones. I think the budget should go to replacing or fixing the streets and parking areas. New playground and swing, and helping current owns get trash out of their yards and when you offer grass seed, actually deliver it to the houses.

Feb 05, 2025 · Alonso FabelaThis place is full of spirited, hard working residents. If only they weren’t charged three arms & a leg for lot fees and whatnot.
Dec 21, 2024 · MarcellaNo one is ever in the office, we have tried to talk to the office every day this week around 4pm and the staff is never there when the office is supposed to be open. Staff does not respond to any email or answer the phone. If you live here expect no help from staff. We rented the club house and it was filthy and they had the audacity to keep my deposit.Pot holes every where they never fix that floods in the rain.Play ground is falling apart, vandalized and dangerous for kids. If upper management sees these, staff reviews need to be done. Clarissa and Vanessa come off as the laziest staff in an office I have ever seen. My sister has been asking for a lease signing to be completed for 3 months now. Do they need training on timely responses?
Oct 18, 2024 · Lindsey ChaseWent to Community Center for a 60th Birthday Party Today. About 20 plus homeless? People showed up and sat outside saying they were having a party as well! They DID NOT pay for Or Reserve the building. They continually came in to use the restroom and we're told it was a private party, and they weren't allowed in. The person who Rented the building tried for over 2 hours to speak to Management about this and the air conditioning wasn't working so she was trying to get ahold of them for that as well. Finally as we were about to leave, she got ahold of management and they were suppose to come down. We left. I would advise ANYONE who rents this building, get a phone number that Actually works and management who cares. They were ALSO Almost 45 minutes late opening up so we could decorate! This isn't the First time This has happened either. I hope Management gave them all deposit back and half her money, because she paid for all day, and we left 5 hours early! I will find out and come back to update! Not cool!! 😡😡🫤. Do Better!!
