Cedar Ridge RV Park Introduce
Cedar Ridge RV Park is located at 4475 US-67, Glen Rose, TX 76043, USA. If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Glen Rose, Texas area, Cedar Ridge RV Park is one option that may appear. However, it is essential to consider the recent feedback from guests to gain a comprehensive understanding of what this park offers. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Cedar Ridge RV Park based on the information available in online reviews.
Based on the provided customer reviews, the environment of Cedar Ridge RV Park appears to have significant drawbacks. One reviewer noted that the RV spots are "uncomfortably close together," leading to a lack of privacy and the ability to hear everything happening at neighboring sites. This close proximity might detract from the peaceful enjoyment of the outdoors that many RV travelers seek. Additionally, the presence of flies was mentioned, and another reviewer detailed issues with fleas, indicating potential pest problems within the park environment. Furthermore, a "horrendous" sewer smell was reported, suggesting potential issues with the park's sanitation infrastructure. These environmental concerns could significantly impact the comfort and overall experience of staying at Cedar Ridge RV Park.
The services and amenities at Cedar Ridge RV Park also seem to have fallen short of guest expectations, according to the reviews. One reviewer described the restroom and shower facilities in unflattering terms, referencing accompanying pictures that are not available here but implying substandard conditions. The "free" laundry facility was reported to be slow and constantly in use, with instances of guests using other people's electrical plugs, causing power outages. Additionally, concerns were raised about trash removal, which apparently required tenants to notify management rather than following a regular schedule, with one instance of trash taking over two weeks to be addressed. The availability of basic supplies in the restrooms was also problematic, with one reviewer reporting having to wait at least a week for toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap. These accounts suggest potential shortcomings in the essential services provided by Cedar Ridge RV Park.
Features that might typically be considered positive in an RV park are largely overshadowed by the negative experiences reported in the reviews of Cedar Ridge RV Park. While one reviewer did commend a staff member named Paula, the "manager," describing her as feeling like home and the best part of the place, this positive aspect was not enough to outweigh the significant issues encountered. The proximity of sites, pest problems (flies and fleas), sewer odors, inadequate restroom/shower facilities, unreliable laundry, and issues with trash and restroom supplies all detract from what might otherwise be considered basic features of an RV park. The lack of consistent maintenance and management responsiveness, as perceived by the reviewers, further diminishes the appeal of any potential positive features.
The customer reviews for Cedar Ridge RV Park are overwhelmingly negative, painting a picture of a poorly maintained and managed facility. Multiple reviewers expressed strong dissatisfaction, with two stating they would give the park zero stars if possible. The recurring themes in the negative feedback include the cramped sites, pest infestations (flies, fleas, roaches, small black bugs, and feral cats), foul odors (sewer), unsanitary and poorly maintained bathrooms/showers, unreliable laundry facilities, and inadequate trash removal and restroom supplies. One reviewer went as far as to call their experience the "absolute worst experience of my lifetime." The collective feedback suggests a significant lack of attention to basic maintenance and the overall well-being of guests.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Glen Rose, Texas, it is crucial to weigh these negative experiences heavily when considering Cedar Ridge RV Park. While the location might be convenient for exploring the attractions of Glen Rose, the reported conditions and service issues could severely detract from a pleasant RVing experience. It is advisable to research other RV parks in the area and compare their reviews and amenities before making a decision.
The reviews do mention a "manager" onsite, Paula, who was praised by one guest for her positive demeanor. However, other reviewers indicated a lack of action or effectiveness from the management in addressing the numerous problems reported, such as maintenance issues and the provision of basic supplies. This discrepancy in perception might be something for potential guests to consider, but the consistency of the complaints about the park's conditions suggests systemic issues that may not be easily resolved by individual staff members.
No promotional information is provided in the given data. Typically, RV parks might advertise features such as Wi-Fi, full hookups, pull-through sites, pet-friendly policies, or proximity to local attractions. However, in the case of Cedar Ridge RV Park, the recent reviews focus almost entirely on negative aspects, suggesting that any potential promotional claims should be viewed with caution and verified independently. Potential guests should prioritize addressing the serious concerns raised in the reviews before being swayed by any advertised amenities or rates.
In conclusion, while Cedar Ridge RV Park in Glen Rose, Texas, is an option that may appear in searches for "RV parks near me," the overwhelming negative feedback from recent guests presents significant concerns. Reports of cramped sites, pest problems, foul odors, unsanitary facilities, unreliable amenities, and inadequate management response should give potential visitors pause. It is strongly recommended that individuals seeking RV accommodations in the Glen Rose area thoroughly research alternative RV parks with more positive recent reviews to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable stay. The issues highlighted by former guests of Cedar Ridge RV Park suggest that it may not currently offer the quality and service expected by RV travelers.

Cedar Ridge RV Park Reviews
Ugh the ppl here were amazing, Paula the “manager” felt like home she was the best part of the place. But unfortunately we would never go back. The spots are uncomfortably close together, we could hear everything 🙄 and the flies …. (in an earlier video it shows) fleas out small child were come in with bites, sewer smell was horrendous, restroom/showers are … you see in my pics, the (free) laundry took forever to do and were constantly being used and ppl using other ppls plugs that would make our breakers trip.. just a no go for us. If I could out zero stars I would.
Dec 31, 2024 · Toni RichterNow I never do reviews, however, whoever wants to try and save a couple dollars here better know about this place.Absolute worst experience of my lifetime. The neighbors behind my camper had such an awful smell coming from there. There was numerous feral cats that reproduced like rabbits. Roaches, fleas, and small black bugs that weren’t ants invaded the entire campsite. Absolutely no maintenance on the bathrooms/showers whatsoever.Trash took a little over 2 weeks to even get taken care of, and I had found out that, we as the tenants of the campsite, need to inform the manager or whoever that the trash needs to be taken out instead of having a schedule with the trash company. If you want toilet paper/paper towels/hand soap, be ready to bring your own. Had to wait at least a week for 2 of 3 of those items to even be seen. The ‘manager’ onsite doesn’t do anything as far as I know, maybe that’s who brought in the supplies, but they couldn’t even get placed into where they belonged to.I’d give this 0 stars if I could. Absolutely hated this place and the only gleam of hope were my neighbors infront of me. Other than that, either save your money, or spend a little more for a better location.
Nov 16, 2024 · Trevor RousselleSimple place for a weekend get away. Owner very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will return when our travels take us to this area.
May 04, 2025 · Karen LampeEV FRIENDLY!We loved this place! Very clean and tidy. Owners were very friendly. Their teenager came and played with our toddler for a few hours while we were sitting outside.Good water pressure, good power. We rented a combo 30-50amp spot and were able to power our 30amp camper and charge our EV on 50amp at the same time. The new owners are really turning this place around! They inherited a couple of rough full timers that they’re working on cleaning up. All the neighbors were extremely friendly and the camp was quiet at night. The bathrooms were very clean with FREE washer & dryers.Looking forward to staying here again!
Aug 18, 2021 · Chris EmrickThis might be dirtiest most crowded rv park in the state of Texas. If not it’s a top 10 contender. The lady who showed us where to park was nice and is probably the only saving grace for this place. There is absolutely zero room between rvs. The campers next to us had trash strewn from one end of the spot to the other and were literally sitting on our steps at night as they visited and talked loudly. The WiFi is nonexistent and if you have Verizon don’t expect to have more than 1-2 bars of service. We paid around $35 per night for this muddy trash heap and it was not a bargain. Lesson learned.
