This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed, objective overview of the mobile home park based on publicly available information, specifically recent customer reviews. It is important to note that the information presented here reflects the experiences shared by these reviewers and may not encompass all aspects of the community.
Converse Meadows Mobile Home Park can be contacted at (210) 658-0022 or via mobile phone at +1 210-658-0022 for inquiries regarding residency, lot availability, and other relevant information. The park's location in Converse offers access to the amenities and services of this growing San Antonio suburb, while also providing a community-based living environment.
Recent customer reviews paint a picture of a community undergoing changes in management and facing certain challenges. It is crucial for prospective residents to be aware of these reported experiences as they consider Converse Meadows as a potential living option. Several key themes emerge from the provided feedback, which should be carefully evaluated.
One significant concern raised by a reviewer pertains to plumbing issues within the park. The review mentions "always plumbing issues" leading to unexpected and potentially high water bills. This suggests a recurring problem with the water infrastructure within the community, which could impact residents' utility expenses and overall living experience. Furthermore, the reviewer expresses difficulty in contacting staff in the office, recommending walk-in visits or posing as someone looking to buy a home to get attention. This indicates potential challenges in communication with the management.
The review also highlights a change in property management, transitioning from "Fairfax Meadows" to "Bridge Property Management." While a change in management can sometimes bring improvements, the reviewer expresses that "Bridge Property Management isn't much better." Specific criticisms include a lack of communication regarding the new manager's identity and inconvenient office hours (10 am to 5 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 3 pm on Saturdays).
Another significant issue raised is the frequency and handling of water shut-offs for repairs. The reviewer states that the community is "known to have the water off 3x a month for repairs." A recent incident described in detail involved a last-minute email notification of a water shut-off, followed by a prolonged outage the next day without adequate updates from management. The after-hours maintenance was reportedly unresponsive, and the phone number provided in the automated message allegedly connects to an unrelated individual. This lack of communication and prolonged utility disruption can be a major inconvenience for residents.
Financial aspects are also a point of concern. The reviewer mentions a lot rent of $565, which they deem not worth the value offered by the community. Notably, the lot rent is stated to be increasing to $620 per month. This price increase, coupled with the reported maintenance and communication issues, may be a significant factor for potential residents to consider in relation to the overall value proposition.
Furthermore, the review raises a serious concern regarding potential negligence by a contractor hired by Converse Meadows, allegedly leading to voided warranties on a resident's new home. This suggests potential issues with the quality of work or oversight within the park that could have significant financial implications for homeowners within the community.
Safety within the park is also brought into question. The reviewer expresses frustration over the lack of speed bumps or speed limit signs, leading to non-residents and residents "FLYING down the road and not stopping at stop signs." This poses a potential safety hazard for all residents, particularly children and pedestrians. In contrast, the reviewer mentions the installation of a "dinky little dog park" without prior notification, suggesting a possible misprioritization of community improvements in the eyes of at least one resident.
Considering the information available, Converse Meadows Mobile Home Park presents a mixed picture for prospective residents. While the location in Converse offers access to local amenities, the recent customer feedback highlights several areas of concern that should be carefully evaluated:
- Recurring Plumbing Issues: Frequent water line problems and potentially high water bills are a significant concern.
- Management Communication: Difficulty in contacting office staff and a lack of timely updates regarding essential service disruptions are reported.
- Inconvenient Office Hours: Limited office hours may make it challenging for residents to address concerns or conduct necessary business.
- Rising Lot Rent: The increasing cost of lot rent, currently at $620 per month, may not align with the perceived value of the community by some residents.
- Potential Contractor Negligence: Allegations of contractor negligence leading to voided home warranties raise serious concerns about the park's oversight and responsibility.
- Safety Concerns: The absence of speed control measures poses a potential safety risk within the community.
It is important to note that these are experiences shared by specific individuals and may not represent the views or experiences of all residents. However, the consistency and severity of the issues raised warrant careful consideration for anyone contemplating residency at Converse Meadows Mobile Home Park.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" with the intention of finding a longer-term living situation that might include mobile home options, Converse Meadows Mobile Home Park is located in the vicinity. While the platform category is "RV parks near me," it's essential to understand that Converse Meadows primarily operates as a mobile home park, although it may accommodate some RVs for longer stays. Individuals seeking traditional short-term RV park amenities and services might need to inquire specifically about the availability and suitability for RVs.
Given the concerns raised in the reviews, prospective residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence before making any commitments. This should include visiting the park in person, if possible, to assess the environment and infrastructure. It is also crucial to speak directly with the management to address the issues highlighted in the reviews and to understand their plans for improvement. Furthermore, if possible, speaking with current residents can provide additional insights into the day-to-day living experience at Converse Meadows.
In conclusion, Converse Meadows Mobile Home Park in Converse, TX, offers a location within a growing suburban area. However, recent customer reviews indicate significant challenges related to plumbing, management communication, rising costs, potential negligence, and safety concerns. While it may cater to those seeking long-term mobile home living in the region, potential residents must carefully weigh these reported issues and conduct thorough personal research to determine if Converse Meadows meets their needs and expectations. Converse Meadows Mobile Home Park Reviews
Always plumbing issues and then you get crazy water bills like where paying for water lines being fixed and never can get a hold of staff in the office if you want to talk to them do a walk in or say you’re looking to buy a home
Mar 31, 2025 · rlc “RLC”**Updating my review since a new property management company took over**Fairfax Meadows really sucked a bunch of wind when it came to "managing" this community. Well, Bridge Property Management isn't much better.Bridge took over, but never bothered to let us know who the new manager is. They still have goofy office hours.10-5 during the week and 10-3 on Saturdays? They sent an email 12 minutes before water was going to be shut off to repair a plumbing leak (surprise, this community is known to have the water off 3x a month for repairs) the next day it was off from 11am until 8pm (was supposed to be 11-6. Not a single update from management, everyone left the office, after hours maintenance didn't answer, and the phone number on the automated message goes to some random lady. Bless her heart, she probably gets a lot of calls.LOT RENT IS $565 NOTHING IN THIS COMMUNITY IS WORTH PAYING THAT MUCH. ***LOT RENT IS NOW INCREASING TO $620 PER MONTH***Due to negligence of the contractor that converse meadows hired, I now have voided warranties on my 3 month old home.STILL NO SPEED BUMPS OR SPEED LIMIT SIGNS. I'm tired of non-residents and residents FLYING down the road and not stopping at stop signs. But they can put in some dinky little dog park (that they also told no one about)
Dec 30, 2024 · MarissaI am not much of a complainer, but enough is enough!!!When will the water pressure issues be resolved? It’s been going on for weeks now! If the plumbing company that was hired to fix the main is incapable of doing so, then I think it’s time to find one that can. There is little to no water pressure and then on top of that the water gets shut off, mostly without any heads up, usually in the afternoons and evenings when most people are home. They should give each resident a reduction of lot-rent before people in th Community start calling code compliance and other places!
Jun 16, 2024 · Anke BarryOverall not too bad the new owners are more strict the park is much nicer.. just wish they'd fixed some of the maintenance issue quicker on a timely manner, and a place where the kids can actually go and swim. They did a lot of to buy the trailer and move and did what they said they would
May 29, 2023 · Kyle CrossDo not buy a home here! Home was damaged by the movers so I had asked for things to be fixed. After 9 months they finally got around to putting in a sidewalk and replacing a few shingles. Eves are still broken, and home is not level. Can't even lock the back door because everything is misaligned and numerous times my 2 and 3 year olds have pushed the door open and went wondering around. Staff is rude and condescending and are quick to do forced mowing of the yard and charge outrageously but heaven forbid you're ever late on a payment. They start the eviction process almost immediately so if you're in a rough position, expect no understanding and lots of legal threats. Will not be staying here much longer. It's cheap and affordable but interest rates are crazy high. You'd be better off paying slightly more for an actual house with a foundation. They've swarmed the place with new trailers but have no proper maintenance so your new trailer may end up falling into disrepair before they will get to it. If you buy a home here, all I can say is good luck.
