Fayetteville, North Carolina, is a city with a diverse landscape and a significant military presence due to Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg). Country Lane is situated on Blanton Road, which places it within a residential area of Fayetteville. The exact character of the immediate surroundings can vary, but generally, residential areas in Fayetteville offer a mix of suburban quietude and access to necessary amenities. The city provides a range of services and attractions, including parks, shopping centers, restaurants, and cultural institutions like the Airborne and Special Operations Museum and the Cape Fear Botanical Garden. Being in Fayetteville, residents of Country Lane would have access to the city's infrastructure and community resources. The environment of a mobile home park such as Country Lane is typically characterized by a community layout with individual manufactured homes on leased lots. While specific details on the landscaping and overall aesthetic of Country Lane itself are not extensively available publicly, mobile home parks generally aim to provide a functional and sometimes communal living space.
As a mobile home park, Country Lane primarily provides land leases for manufactured homes. This means residents either own their mobile homes and rent the lot, or rent a mobile home directly from the park management. Mobile home parks typically offer essential utilities and services as part of the lease agreement, although specific details regarding what is included (e.g., water, sewer, trash collection) would need to be confirmed directly with Country Lane management. The concept of "RV Parks Near Me" in this context broadens to include these more permanent manufactured home communities, which offer a different type of long-term residency compared to transient RV sites.
The success and appeal of any mobile home park, including Country Lane, are significantly influenced by community dynamics and management practices. Public reviews offer contrasting perspectives on Country Lane. One review states, "Its a nice place 2 let kids play n not get hurt bc i take my kids all tha tyme," suggesting that some residents find the environment suitable for children and safe for play. This highlights a potentially family-friendly aspect of the community, where children can engage in outdoor activities. The "nice place" comment also indicates a perceived sense of comfort and suitability for daily living.
However, another review offers a starkly different and highly negative perspective, referring to management as "complete slum lords." This review alleges that management charges high move-in fees but fails to address maintenance issues, stating they "never come to fix anything." It also claims that management seeks "every excuse to not give your deposit back" upon move-out. Furthermore, the review mentions a significant concern regarding safety and security, noting that "The police is in this neighborhood atleast every other day," and implies that management may ignore ongoing "drama" in the community. This specific review explicitly states, "I do not recommend this place to my worst enemy."
Due to the conflicting nature of the available public feedback, prospective residents considering Country Lane should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. While the positive comment hints at a potential for children's play, the negative feedback raises serious questions about maintenance, financial practices, and safety within the community. For anyone searching for "RV Parks Near Me" or long-term mobile home park options, these points are critical to consider.
Given the information, here are strong recommendations for anyone interested in Country Lane:
- On-Site Visit and Thorough Inspection: A personal visit is paramount. Do not rely solely on online information or photos. Inspect the specific mobile home unit you are considering, paying close attention to any signs of disrepair, faulty wiring, or plumbing issues. Walk around the entire park to get a feel for the environment and the general condition of common areas.
- Direct Engagement with Management: Attempt to contact management directly with a list of specific questions regarding maintenance protocols, response times for repairs, utility inclusions, and deposit return policies. Document all communication.
- Speak with Current Residents: If possible, discreetly speak with current residents to gather their experiences regarding maintenance, management responsiveness, safety, and community atmosphere. Their real-time feedback can provide invaluable insight.
- Review Lease Agreements Carefully: Before signing any lease or agreement, read every clause thoroughly, especially those pertaining to maintenance responsibilities, fees, deposit returns, and rules of conduct. Seek legal advice if anything is unclear or raises concerns.
- Investigate Police Activity: Given the claim of frequent police presence, it may be prudent to inquire with local law enforcement (non-emergency line) about the general call volume or types of incidents reported in or around the address. This information may not always be publicly available in detail, but it could offer a further understanding of the safety concerns raised.
- Understand All Costs: Get a clear, written breakdown of all move-in costs, monthly fees, and potential move-out costs to avoid surprises.
In conclusion, Country Lane Mobile Home Park in Fayetteville, NC, presents itself as an option for manufactured home living within the broader "RV Parks Near Me" category. While one perspective suggests it can be a suitable environment for children's play, significant concerns have been raised by other residents regarding alleged poor management practices, lack of maintenance, issues with deposit returns, and frequent police activity. These serious allegations necessitate a highly cautious and thorough investigation by any prospective tenant to ensure their safety, financial well-being, and overall living satisfaction.

Country Lane Reviews
They are complete slum lords . They will make you pay a arm and a leg to move in and never come to fix anything , but when time to move out they will look for every excuse to not give your deposit back . The police is in this neighborhood atleast every other day , but if you just allow them to be slum lords they will look the other way and let the drama continue. I do not recommend this place to my worst enemy .
