Cozy Corners RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Clinton, Missouri area, Cozy Corners RV Park, located at 460 SE 91 Rd, Clinton, MO 64735, USA, offers a range of features and a location that may appeal to various travelers. You can contact them at (660) 885-8824 or +1 660-885-8824 for inquiries and reservations. Based on recent customer feedback, Cozy Corners RV Park presents a community with both advantages and potential considerations for prospective guests.
One of the frequently mentioned positives of Cozy Corners RV Park is its location. Situated "off the main highway," it offers a quieter and potentially more secluded environment compared to parks directly adjacent to busy roads. This can be a significant draw for those seeking a more peaceful and relaxed camping experience away from traffic noise. The appreciation for this off-highway location suggests a more tranquil setting.
Safety is another aspect that receives positive feedback. The park features a "locked gate," which is a notable security measure that many travelers appreciate for the added sense of safety and controlled access to the property. This feature can provide peace of mind, especially for those traveling with valuable equipment or staying for extended periods.
In terms of amenities, Cozy Corners RV Park offers several features that can enhance a stay. There are "a couple of different laundry houses," indicating that guests have access to multiple facilities for washing and drying clothes, which is a crucial convenience for RV travelers, particularly those on longer trips. Additionally, there is "some sort of a convenience store up at the front," suggesting that basic necessities or perhaps snacks and drinks might be available on-site, reducing the need to leave the park for minor items.
For those traveling with children or looking for recreational opportunities within the park, Cozy Corners RV Park boasts a "playground and a pool," which are described as "definite pluses." These amenities can provide entertainment and relaxation for families and individuals alike, making the park a more appealing destination for those seeking on-site leisure activities.
However, alongside these positive aspects, some concerns have been raised by visitors that potential guests should be aware of. One significant issue pertains to the park's pet policy. A reviewer who is a dog owner reported that Cozy Corners has a "banned breeds" policy that was not disclosed on their website or during a phone reservation. This lack of transparency is a critical point for pet owners, as it could lead to unexpected denial of entry or the need to find alternative accommodations upon arrival. It is strongly advised that pet owners inquire specifically about the park's breed restrictions and pet policies before making a reservation.
Another important piece of practical advice from a reviewer is to "Make sure to ask for a gate pass card as they do not automatically give them out." This suggests a procedural detail that could impact ease of access to and from the park. Proactively requesting a gate pass upon arrival or check-in is recommended to avoid any inconvenience.
A recurring concern for one reviewer was the spacing of the lots, stating, "The lots are way too close together for me to be comfortable going there though." This observation suggests that the density of RV sites might be higher than preferred by some individuals, potentially impacting privacy and the feeling of spaciousness. Travelers who value more separation between sites should consider this feedback and perhaps inquire about lot sizes or request a site that offers more space, if available.
Despite the concern about lot spacing, the same reviewer had positive interactions with some of the residents, noting, "I met a lady that lived there and she was very very friendly and I met a couple on my way out and they were very friendly and they really like where they live." This indicates a potentially welcoming and friendly community atmosphere within the park, which can contribute positively to the overall experience of both short-term visitors and long-term residents.
Given the available information, Cozy Corners RV Park in Clinton, MO, offers a location off the main highway, a locked gate for security, laundry facilities, a convenience store, a playground, and a pool. These features make it a potentially attractive option for those seeking "RV parks near me" with specific amenities and a quieter setting. However, it is crucial for potential guests, especially dog owners, to inquire about the park's pet policies, particularly any breed restrictions, and to ensure they obtain a gate pass upon arrival. The close proximity of the lots might be a consideration for some travelers who prefer more space between RV sites.
To make an informed decision, individuals interested in Cozy Corners RV Park should contact them directly to verify their pet policy, inquire about lot sizes and availability, and confirm the procedures for obtaining a gate pass. Understanding these aspects, along with the mentioned amenities and the off-highway location, will help prospective guests determine if Cozy Corners RV Park meets their needs and preferences for an "RV park near me" in the Clinton, Missouri area. While no specific promotional information was provided in the reviews, inquiring about any current specials or discounts when contacting the park is always a good practice.
In conclusion, Cozy Corners RV Park offers a gated community with several amenities and a location off the main highway in Clinton, MO. While the friendly residents and the presence of laundry, a store, a playground, and a pool are positives, potential guests should be aware of the reported "banned breeds" pet policy and the need to request a gate pass. The close spacing of the lots might also be a consideration for some. Direct communication with the park management is recommended to obtain complete and up-to-date information to ensure a satisfactory stay.

Oct 26, 2024 · Rise' MorrisRude with a better than you attitude. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Their add said pull in find a spot and relax we will come to you and we did. They came and acted like we were trespassing they were rude and they wanted to know how we didn't know that space wasn't taken so we told them we just did as the add said and they told us they needed to change that and said we needed to go to a place more suited to our kind. I wouldn't go back if I was paid to. Sparrow Foot campground nextdoor to them was great very friendly, inviting, and a lot nicer all around place to go.
Nov 09, 2024 · BobWe have been here 2 years now. Such a great little community, super friendly people, and very helpful ownership. My kids love going to the pool/playing at the playground. The perfect location for a nice weekend getaway.
Sep 02, 2024 · Eric WoodStayed in pull through fhu spot 55 for a week. Right next to the bathhouse. Nice level concrete slab with picnic table. Though most spots in there are gravel. Also it may not always be pull through either as I believe if they fill up the spots are back to back. Either way, it's a quiet beautiful park. Excellent wifi. Clean secure bathrooms. Hot showers. Nice laundry facility. The pool wasn't open yet but being worked on to get ready for the holiday. Nice playground. Also a fishing pond in front as well as a fish cleaning station. Even have cabins to stay in. Enjoyed beautiful sunsets most every night. Would definitely stay here again.
