Crystal Lake Mobile Resort Introduce
Are you looking for "RV parks near me" that also feature mobile home living options in the Pinellas Park area of Florida? Consider Crystal Lake Mobile Resort, located at 9301 49th St N, Pinellas Park, FL 33782, USA. While our platform category is "RV parks near me," we recognize that many individuals seek the stability and community offered by mobile home parks. Crystal Lake Mobile Resort presents itself as a potentially beautiful community with appealing features, though it's important to consider all aspects based on available feedback.
Based on the limited but contrasting reviews from residents, Crystal Lake Mobile Resort offers a mixed experience. One reviewer who had been there for three months described it as "beautiful" and highlighted the "fantastic" pool and lake, noting the presence of seats around the lake for enjoying sunsets and deeming it "perfect in every way." This paints a picture of a visually appealing environment with desirable recreational amenities.
However, another reviewer strongly advised against moving there, citing a high lot rent of $945 and complaining that "maintenance sucks." This feedback raises concerns about the affordability and the upkeep of the community. It's crucial for prospective residents to weigh these contrasting opinions and conduct thorough due diligence before making any decisions.
Despite the conflicting reviews, we can gather some insights into the potential environment, services, and features of Crystal Lake Mobile Resort:
Environment and Location: Situated in Pinellas Park, Crystal Lake Mobile Resort benefits from its location within a well-established area of Pinellas County. This typically means access to a range of local amenities, including shopping centers, restaurants, medical facilities, and recreational opportunities. The proximity to St. Petersburg and Clearwater offers further access to beaches, cultural attractions, and employment centers. The presence of a lake within the resort, as highlighted by a positive reviewer, suggests a potentially scenic and tranquil environment for some residents, especially those with lake views or easy access to the lakefront.
The positive review's mention of seats around the lake to watch sunsets indicates that the community has taken steps to enhance the enjoyment of this natural feature, suggesting a focus on the aesthetic appeal and recreational opportunities associated with the lake.
Services and Amenities: Based on the reviews, we can confirm the presence of at least two key amenities:
- Swimming Pool: Described as "fantastic" by one reviewer, the pool is likely a significant recreational feature of the resort, offering residents a place to swim, relax, and socialize. The positive adjective suggests it is well-maintained, though this contrasts with the other reviewer's general complaint about maintenance.
- Lake: The presence of a lake within the community is a notable feature, potentially offering scenic views, opportunities for leisurely walks along the shore, and perhaps even fishing or small non-motorized watercraft activities, although this is not explicitly stated. The seating provided around the lake enhances its appeal as a place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Beyond these mentioned features, typical mobile home resorts often provide a range of services and amenities to cater to the needs of their residents. These may include:
- Lot Rentals: Residents lease the land on which their mobile home is located. The negative review highlighted a significant lot rent of $945, which potential residents should verify and consider in relation to the value and services offered.
- Utilities Hookups: Essential connections for water, sewer, and electricity are typically provided at each lot. Residents are usually responsible for their individual usage charges.
- Trash and Recycling Services: Regular waste management services are generally included.
- Maintenance of Common Areas: This would typically cover roadways, landscaping, and the upkeep of amenities like the pool and lake areas. The negative review's comment about "maintenance sucks" suggests potential issues in this area that need further investigation.
Depending on the resort, other potential amenities could include a clubhouse or community center for social gatherings, laundry facilities, recreational courts (e.g., shuffleboard), and possibly security features.
Features and Atmosphere: The positive review suggests that Crystal Lake Mobile Resort has the potential to be a beautiful and enjoyable place to live, particularly for those who appreciate lakefront living and a community with a pool. The seating around the lake implies an effort to create a welcoming and scenic environment. However, the strong negative feedback regarding high lot rent and poor maintenance raises concerns about the overall quality of life and value proposition of the resort.
Prospective residents should try to ascertain the current state of maintenance and understand what is included in the lot rent. It would be beneficial to speak with multiple current residents to get a balanced perspective on the community's atmosphere and upkeep.
Promotional Information: Based on the limited information provided, there are no specific promotional offers mentioned for Crystal Lake Mobile Resort. To learn about current lot rental rates, any move-in specials, or other incentives, it is crucial to contact the resort directly at (727) 544-2745 or +1 727-544-2745. When inquiring, be sure to ask about:
- Current lot rental fees and what is included (e.g., water, sewer, trash).
- Any additional community fees or assessments.
- The terms of the lease agreement.
- The process for maintenance requests and the typical response times.
- Availability of lots and any restrictions on mobile home sizes or ages.
- Any current promotions or special offers for new residents.
For local users seeking "mobile home parks near me" or even considering RV living options that might be available within such a resort in Pinellas Park, Crystal Lake Mobile Resort presents a location with appealing natural features like a lake and a pool. However, the significant concern raised about high lot rent and poor maintenance should not be overlooked. It is strongly recommended that interested individuals visit the resort, speak with current residents (if possible), and thoroughly investigate the costs and quality of services before making a decision. While one resident found it "perfect," another advised against moving there, highlighting the importance of a comprehensive personal assessment.

All of the homes are kept clean and junk free. Tom is so sweet and helpful he was alwaysavailable every time I called or stopped by. He provided open and honest information about the home we purchased.
May 18, 2019 · Keosha WilliamsSeeing some improvement. Well maintained park. Sometimes communication with office could improve. There is a community HOA. They are wonderful. Once you get in, you'll never want to leave. Fresh water lake stocked for fishing. Some big dog breeds allowed.
