Deer Creek Estates Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home parks in the Shreveport, Louisiana area, Deer Creek Estates, located at 8310 Dixie Blanchard Rd, Shreveport, LA 71107, USA, presents itself as a potential option. As a mobile home park, its primary focus is on providing long-term residential living in manufactured homes, although it may or may not offer accommodations or facilities for recreational vehicles. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the park based on the limited and contrasting customer feedback available, focusing on the management, infrastructure, and overall environment.
The available customer reviews for Deer Creek Estates offer starkly different perspectives, highlighting both positive and negative experiences. One former resident expressed a strong affinity for the park, stating, "I loved living a deer creek...I loved the Manager Liz." This reviewer praised the manager, Liz, for her exceptional kindness and helpfulness, particularly noting her compassion and efforts to assist the resident, who identified as semi-handicapped. The reviewer emphasized Liz going "far and above" to provide support and described her as a "good person" with compassion. Additionally, this resident found the park's rules to be reasonable and conducive to maintaining a nice living environment.
In stark contrast, another reviewer expressed extreme dissatisfaction, stating they "Would not even give 1 star if I had the choice." This negative review cited several significant issues. Firstly, the condition of the infrastructure was criticized, with the reviewer stating, "Roads are horrible." Poor road conditions within a mobile home park can lead to inconvenience, potential vehicle damage, and a generally unpleasant environment for residents and visitors alike. Secondly, the reviewer described the "Office staff" as "extremely rude" and reported a lack of professionalism and competence, specifically mentioning difficulties in getting a trailer ready by an agreed-upon date.
The negative review further elaborated on a negative interaction with "Liz" in the office, who allegedly did not have the lease prepared, appeared uninterested in her job duties, and seemed bothered by inquiries. The reviewer also mentioned a lack of assistance from an individual named David. The concluding remark from this reviewer recounted a dismissive statement allegedly made by Liz upon the return of their money: "Good luck finding a place, the Lawlers own everything around here." This statement was perceived as unprofessional and unhelpful, further solidifying the reviewer's negative impression of the management.
Given these conflicting accounts, it is challenging to provide a definitive assessment of the environment at Deer Creek Estates. The positive review suggests a caring and supportive manager who fosters a pleasant community for residents who adhere to the park's rules. However, the negative review paints a picture of poor infrastructure and rude, unhelpful office staff, leading to a highly unsatisfactory experience. Prospective residents should be aware of these contrasting perspectives and consider that individual experiences may vary.
Information regarding specific services and features offered at Deer Creek Estates is limited in the provided reviews. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewerage hookups for each lot. They may also provide basic amenities like trash removal and possibly common area maintenance. The positive review's mention of adhering to rules suggests that there are established guidelines for residents, which often pertain to the upkeep of individual lots and the use of any shared facilities. However, neither review provides detailed information about the specific services or any additional amenities that might be available, such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, or community spaces.
Promotional information for Deer Creek Estates is not available in the provided data. Details about current rental rates for mobile home lots, the availability of any RV spaces (if applicable), or any special offers are not mentioned in the reviews. Individuals interested in learning more about the financial aspects of residing at Deer Creek Estates will need to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers: (318) 929-4882 or mobile phone +1 318-929-4882. Direct communication with the park management is crucial to obtain accurate information regarding pricing, lease terms, and any specific rules or regulations of the park.
In conclusion, the limited customer feedback for Deer Creek Estates in Shreveport, LA, presents a polarized view. While one former resident praised the manager Liz for her exceptional support and found the park rules reasonable, another reviewer reported significant issues with the poor condition of the roads and rude, unhelpful office staff. These contrasting experiences highlight the importance for prospective residents, whether seeking a mobile home lot or considering the park as one of the "RV parks near me" (if applicable), to conduct thorough due diligence. This should include contacting the park directly for detailed information, visiting the premises to assess the conditions firsthand, and potentially seeking feedback from current residents if possible. Given the serious allegations in the negative review, proceeding with caution and carefully evaluating whether the potential benefits outweigh the reported drawbacks is strongly advised.

Deer Creek Estates Reviews
I loved living a deer creek...I loved the Manager Liz,. I was treated so good by this manager ,she went far and above for me I was semi handicapped and Liz had such compassion for trying to help me with everything she could.. she is a good person and has compassion... All you have to do is follow the rules.and they are not hard to follow.they are the kind of rules you would want a nice place to have.
Jun 26, 2023 · Davida RobertsWould not even give 1 star if I had the choice. Roads are horrible. Office staff is extremely rude. Not capable of getting the trailer ready when agreed on a date. "Liz" in the office did not have lease ready or even act like she had time to bother with her doing her job and it was a bother to have anyone disturb her jam session in the office. David was of no assistance either. The funniest part of the whole experience was after getting my money back, Liz thought it a good idea to state "Good luck finding a place, the Lawlers own everything around here".Definitely would advise to bypass this place even if in a jam.
Jun 22, 2023 · Mimi BI went today to look for a home for my kids and myself. The lady that I was greeted by was absolutely a sweet heart! She took time to go the extra mile to let me look at an home that wasn't ready at the moment, but would be. Most would have brushed me away. She then took another step by calling me back to let me know that I would be able to occupy the residence. Which took me by surprise that she took action and not put it to aside. The area is very nice and kept up extremely well. Very impressed by the looks and the people there. I am excited about making this my new home for my kids! The most important I felt safe there. There is no other feeling than that but Mrs. Karen's personal attitude was the best!! Thanks Deer Creek!!
Apr 26, 2018 · Crystal LaFieldIf all possible don't waste your money renting from this company. The trailers are full of black mold, infested with roaches, rats and other creatures. Maintenance nor Lanlord when called to fix a issue, doesn't respond or ignored.
Dec 26, 2022 · Jessica Bodin-HeinsRoach infested, mold infested and can barely get something fixed without having to call several times or it taking a month to be fixed. Then uselly the job would still be unfinished due to not having enough material.
