King's Holly Haven RV Park Introduce
Searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in the Pigeon Forge, Tennessee area? King's Holly Haven RV Park, located at 647 Wears Valley Rd, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863, offers a conveniently situated campground for travelers looking to explore the popular attractions of Pigeon Forge and the natural beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. With phone numbers (865) 453-5352 and +1 865-453-5352, reaching the park for inquiries and reservations is straightforward.
Based on recent customer reviews, King's Holly Haven RV Park presents a mixed experience, highlighting both its positive aspects and areas where improvements could be considered. Upon arrival, guests have generally encountered a friendly and encouraging staff, setting a positive initial tone for their stay. This welcoming reception can be a significant factor in making visitors feel comfortable and valued.
However, the experience within the campground itself appears to vary. Several reviewers have noted that the sites are mostly quite narrow, which could pose a challenge for larger RVs or those seeking more space between their camping setups. One specific concern raised is the proximity of picnic tables to neighboring sewer hookups, which might detract from the outdoor dining experience and overall site enjoyment. When considering "RV Parks Near Me," site size and layout are crucial factors for many travelers, and it's important to be aware of potential space limitations at King's Holly Haven.
For pet owners, the advertised dog walk seems to be an area of disappointment. According to a review, it is essentially a path running through the back of individual campsites, which becomes overgrown and effectively non-existent after a short distance. This limitation might be a significant drawback for those traveling with dogs who require dedicated and accessible areas for exercise. Fortunately, the park's proximity to a city park next door offers a viable alternative for dog walking, which is a notable advantage of the location.
In terms of amenities, the laundry facilities at King's Holly Haven RV Park are reported to have a good number of machines and are reasonably priced. However, cleanliness appears to be an area for potential improvement. Additionally, the limited operating hours of the laundry, from 8 am to 8 pm, might be inconvenient for guests who spend their days sightseeing and return to the park later in the evening. When evaluating "RV Parks Near Me," the availability and accessibility of laundry facilities are often important considerations for longer stays.
Another point of concern raised by a reviewer is the number of people allowed per campsite. The observation of a neighboring site with four cars suggests that the park might permit a higher occupancy than some guests find comfortable, potentially leading to increased noise and congestion within the campground. For those prioritizing a quieter and less crowded environment, this could be a factor to consider when choosing from "RV Parks Near Me."
It's worth noting that the 50 amp sites are reportedly a bit larger than the 30 amp sites. This information could be valuable for future guests, especially those with larger RVs or greater electrical needs, suggesting that opting for a 50 amp site might provide a more comfortable and spacious experience, if available.
Despite some of these drawbacks, King's Holly Haven RV Park also has several positive aspects. One reviewer who stayed for three nights in November found the park to be quiet and tidy. The staff was also commended for being nice and helpful, reinforcing the positive initial impression reported by another guest. The presence of a decent-sized pool, although closed during the November stay, suggests a recreational amenity that could be enjoyable during warmer months. However, its condition is only described as "decent" for the park's size.
The absence of Wi-Fi was noted as a minor annoyance by one reviewer, even considering the park is perceived as somewhat dated. In today's connected world, the availability of reliable internet access is often a significant factor for travelers when selecting "RV Parks Near Me," whether for work, communication, or entertainment.
While one elder reviewer found the children's playground to be small and dated, the presence of a large public park immediately next door is a significant benefit for families with children, offering a more extensive space for play and recreation. This proximity to a public park is a notable advantage of King's Holly Haven's location.
The location of King's Holly Haven RV Park is consistently highlighted as a major positive. It is described as being close to the action of Pigeon Forge while still maintaining a sense of tranquility. This balance of accessibility to attractions and a quieter setting is often a key factor for those searching within the "RV Parks Near Me" category in a popular tourist destination like Pigeon Forge.
In summary, one reviewer concluded that King's Holly Haven RV Park was a "good park for the money," especially for those who are aware that it might be somewhat dated at the time of booking. This suggests that the park offers a reasonably priced option for those prioritizing location and basic amenities over modern facilities and spacious sites.
For potential guests considering King's Holly Haven RV Park when searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in Pigeon Forge, TN, it is essential to weigh the reported pros and cons. The friendly staff and convenient location near attractions are definite advantages. However, potential drawbacks such as narrow sites, the condition of the dog walk, the cleanliness and limited hours of the laundry, and the lack of Wi-Fi should also be taken into consideration. If you value affordability and a location close to the action and don't require extensive on-site amenities or large, private sites, King's Holly Haven might be a suitable option. It is advisable to inquire about specific site sizes and availability, especially if traveling in a larger RV, and to consider the proximity to the neighboring public park as a significant recreational asset.
Ultimately, the best way to determine if King's Holly Haven RV Park meets your needs is to contact them directly at the provided phone numbers to ask specific questions about their current amenities, site availability, and any ongoing promotions. Reading recent online reviews from various sources can also provide a broader perspective on the current guest experience. By carefully considering these factors, you can make an informed decision when choosing from the "RV Parks Near Me" in the Pigeon Forge area and ensure a pleasant and suitable stay.

King's Holly Haven RV Park Reviews
Upon check-in, we encountered very friendly staff and we were encouraged. Not so much once we entered the campground. Sites are mostly very narrow. Our picnic table was right next to our neighbor's sewer hookup. The advertised dog walk is actually a path through the back of everyone's sites, and after several yards it is overgrown and non-existent. We were happy to find a city park next door where we walked out dog. The laundry had lots of machines and was inexpensive, but not super clean. Also laundry is only open 8 am to 8 pm, so if you're out sight-seeing all day, your window for laundry is short. The campground allows far too many people per site. The site next to us had 4 cars. The 50 amp sites were a bit bigger than the 30 amp, so if I ever have to stay here again, I will choose a 50 amp site.
Apr 14, 2025 · JoAnne OwensWe stayed 3 nights at this campground in November. As such the pool was already closed but it seemed a decent size and condition for the size of the park. The staff was very nice and helpful. The park itself is quiet and tidy. The sights are small and some of the large trailers sit from road to road.Absence of wifi is a tad annoying even if it's not a grade A park.We are elders so it's only my opinion that the child playground was small and dated. However, there is a large public park just next door that kids would enjoy. The location is great... close to the action but far enough away to appear tranquil. In summary, it was a good park for the money. We knew it was dated when we booked so we give it good marks.
Nov 07, 2024 · andrew wylieMy family and I stayed here during one of their busier weeks, which happened to coincide with a car show in the area. Things were definitely lively and crowded, but the woman at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She gave us great tips on where to sightsee and the best times to go to avoid traffic and large crowds. The biggest downside for us was the internet connection. The campground’s Wi-Fi was essentially unusable, and our phone service wasn’t much better. Even our Starlink setup struggled to get a signal, which made it difficult to work or stay in touch with others. That said, we really appreciated the friendly hospitality, the clean laundry facilities, and the fact that we could use our bicycles to get around instead of driving. Overall, it was a good experience with some challenges—but we made the most of it!
Apr 15, 2025 · Kimberly RaeNice and quiet for Pigeon Forge. Friendly people. We were right by the river, listening to it all night. Facilities are great. Just lovely.
Mar 27, 2025 · Daniel RiekMy husband and I have been camping for over 50 years and have camped at Kings Holly Haven many times. The campground is clean , comfortable, and has a wonderful staff. It is in a great location and close to downtown Pigeon Forge, shopping, dining and entertainment. They were very helpful and understanding of our needs during the Hurricane that devastated Tennessee, Georgia and the Carolina’s two weeks ago as we were among their many guests during that time. We look forward to our next trip there.
