Mar 18, 2025 · Donna Marquez**Google Review:**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐If heaven had a campground, it might just look like this. Nestled in the embrace of nature, this gem features a river that flows like a silky ribbon, winding through lush greenery that could make even the most hardened city dweller take a deep breath and relax. The grass here is a vivid green, softer than a feather bed, perfect for sprawling out under the stars or for an impromptu picnic. It’s the kind of place where you can kick off your shoes, feel the earth beneath your feet, and let the world slow down for just a moment. But what really sets this campground apart is the staff. They're not just friendly; they’re like that eccentric uncle you wish you had. Always ready with a smile and a story, they genuinely care about your experience. Whether it’s recommending the best fishing spots or sharing tales of the river’s history, they embody the spirit of hospitality that makes you feel right at home.So if you’re looking for a place to escape the chaos of life, to reconnect with the wild, and to meet some genuinely good people along the way, this is it. Grab a tent, a good book, and maybe a bottle of something nice. You’ll leave with a full heart and a head full of memories.
Mar 25, 2025 · R DThe grounds were clean and well maintained. The shower house was the best I've ever seen at a campground. The staff in the office were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and will stay again.
Apr 22, 2025 · Candice RhodesLaundry room and bathhouse were excellent. Also the laundry takes credit cards!!!!This is a very nice campground. As it says on the website, the pads backing on to the river do slope a lot. Nice place and very close to Smoky Mountains.
