Enchanted Lakes MH & RV Resort Introduce
Located at 750 Malabar Rd in Malabar, Florida, Enchanted Lakes MH & RV Resort is advertised as a community offering both mobile home and RV accommodations. Situated in Brevard County, Malabar is a town on the Space Coast of Florida, known for its natural beauty and proximity to the Indian River Lagoon. For individuals searching within the category of "RV parks near me," Enchanted Lakes might initially appear as a potential option due to its designation as an MH & RV Resort. However, the available customer reviews paint a starkly negative picture, raising serious concerns about the park's management, facilities, and overall living conditions.
One reviewer recounts a severely negative experience during a two-night stay, describing it as "the WORST experience I have ever endured." This strong condemnation is supported by a series of alarming issues encountered. The reviewer notes the absence of anyone in the office upon arrival, leading to immediate difficulties with check-in and information. Further compounding the problem, the assigned campsite was already occupied by a long-term camper, indicating a lack of organization and communication regarding site availability. The reviewer also mentions a single bathroom facility that required a code which was not provided, rendering it inaccessible. The physical condition of the campsites is described as "cluttered with junk from past campers," suggesting a lack of adequate maintenance and turnover procedures. Most concerningly, the reviewer mentions a "Warning from health department concerning water contamination," a serious safety issue with potential health implications for all occupants of the park. Based on these significant problems, the reviewer concludes, "Need I say more?" and states that "One star is too good!"
Another reviewer shares a similarly negative perspective, contrasting a positive past visit a couple of years prior with a recent experience that led them to conclude the park has "gone down hill." A primary factor in their decision not to relocate to Enchanted Lakes was the status of the pool, which they were informed had been closed since April 2024 and was never heated. For someone considering a move to Florida, a pool is often a significant amenity, and its prolonged closure and lack of heating are substantial drawbacks. The reviewer also notes the poor condition of the bocci court, describing it as "a disaster," rendering another potential recreational amenity unusable. Furthermore, they were unable to access the clubhouse, suggesting limitations in the availability of communal facilities. Adding to the negative assessment, the reviewer mentions that their friend living in the park experienced an increase in lot rent, indicating potential affordability issues for residents. Based on these observations, the reviewer states their intention to "look elsewhere" and advises against purchasing properties within the park based on advertised amenities that are currently non-existent.
Collectively, these reviews paint a grim picture of Enchanted Lakes MH & RV Resort. The issues raised span from basic operational failures (unoccupied office, double-booked campsites, inaccessible facilities) to significant safety and maintenance concerns (water contamination warning, cluttered campsites, dilapidated amenities, closed pool). The reported increase in lot rent further suggests potential financial strain for long-term residents. The contrast between a past positive impression and the current state indicates a significant decline in the quality and management of the resort.
For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Enchanted Lakes MH & RV Resort appears to be a location to approach with extreme caution based on recent feedback. The serious allegations of water contamination and the multitude of facility-related issues suggest a park that is not currently providing a safe or enjoyable environment for its guests and residents. The lack of on-site management availability reported by one reviewer further exacerbates these concerns, as it indicates a potential lack of accountability and responsiveness to issues.
Prospective guests or residents should contact Enchanted Lakes MH & RV Resort directly at (321) 723-8847 or +1 321-723-8847 to seek immediate clarification and detailed information regarding the water safety, the status and expected reopening of the pool, the condition of other amenities like the bocci court and clubhouse, and the availability of on-site management. Any claims of amenities or services should be verified thoroughly. Given the severity of the reported issues, it would be prudent to seek alternative accommodations or residences until substantial evidence of improvements and resolution of these problems can be confirmed.
Due to the overwhelmingly negative nature and severity of the issues highlighted in the recent reviews, it is impossible to present any positive features or promotional information for Enchanted Lakes MH & RV Resort at this time. The feedback strongly suggests a park that is currently facing significant challenges in terms of management, maintenance, safety, and the provision of basic amenities. Any potential appeal based on its designation as an MH & RV Resort is severely undermined by the reported conditions.
In conclusion, Enchanted Lakes MH & RV Resort in Malabar, Florida, appears to be a property with significant and concerning issues based on recent customer reviews. These include problems with management availability, campsite assignments, facility access, the prolonged closure of the pool, the dilapidated state of other amenities, rising lot rent, and, most alarmingly, a reported water contamination warning from the health department. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" or considering long-term residency in a mobile home should be extremely cautious and conduct thorough, direct inquiries to ascertain the current conditions and safety of this resort before making any commitments. The available information strongly suggests that Enchanted Lakes MH & RV Resort is currently not providing a satisfactory living or lodging experience.

Enchanted Lakes MH & RV Resort Reviews
I stayed at this park for 2 nights last week. It was the WORST experience I have ever endured. No one in the office. Assigned campsite that was already taken by long term camper. One bathroom which needed a code that was not provided. Campsites were cluttered with junk from past campers. Warning from health department concerning water contamination Need I say more? One star is too good!
Apr 08, 2025 · Dale McNuttI visited a Friend here a couple years ago. I liked the park and I am now ready to relocate to Florida. I went to visit a couple months ago and my intention was to find my own place . The place has gone down hill . For me a pool is not an option! It’s a must have ! She informed me that the pool has been closed since April 2024 and it was never heated . The Bocci court was a disaster and we couldn’t get into the clubhouse. Then she said her lot rent went up . I will look elsewhere and nobody there should be selling their places with amenities.. There aren’t any !!
Feb 02, 2025 · Kathy MccarthyNo pool. Mud pit pond . Rent is way too high. They know when you rent that seniors are on a fixed income. Then they raise the rent every year until they take more than the senior citizens entire social security. The water is undrinkable. Showers and pools have been closed for years.
Feb 06, 2025 · Frances MaynardI recently visited my sister again and still no pool since last April no other amenities the club house which use to have games have been thrown away pool table is pushed in corner and most of the time is locked then found out about 18 yr old maintenance boy has been charged with 3 counts of animal cruelty waterboarding and throwing cat out of a three story window as seniors we feel nervous in the park this park has severally gone down hill since my visit last winter there were 2 beautiful fountains now it is just a delapidate mud pit I would not recommend this place to anyone
Mar 17, 2025 · Jennifer SearcyI have lived here a little over two years. I really liked it at first-spent almost every morning at our community pool. I met some of the neighbors there and even found a friend or two. The pool has been closed since April-we were told there is a major problem underneath, and they need to get a contractor, etc. ok, so where is he? All summer the pool was closed yet no contractor working on our pool. We pay over $900 a month lot rent and that is supposed to cover the amenities, among other things. I had back surgery in June and was planning to use the pool for rehab exercises. I’m very disappointed. Quite honestly we were already thinking about moving…
