Based on enthusiastic reviews from current and former residents, FaIcon's Landing RV Park stands out for its welcoming atmosphere and well-maintained grounds. One former resident, a travel nurse who stayed for six months, described it as their "home away from home." They specifically highlighted the park's safety, beauty, and cleanliness. The reviewer also noted the quiet and very friendly neighbors, emphasizing the strong sense of community that allowed them to forge "lifelong friends." This speaks volumes about the positive social environment within the park, a crucial aspect for many RVers seeking a sense of belonging.
A significant feature mentioned by this reviewer is the presence of a "nice" pond at the back of the property, which is particularly enjoyable for walks, especially for those with pets ("pups"). This natural amenity adds to the beauty of the park and provides a relaxing outdoor space for residents and their furry companions to enjoy. The pet-friendly aspect, further supported by the mention of the pond, makes FaIcon's Landing an attractive option for RVers traveling with animals.
The management at FaIcon's Landing RV Park, particularly Gail, the manager, received exceptional praise. Described as "the sweetest," Gail is portrayed as a caring and attentive individual who is "always on the lookout for everyone." This level of care and attentiveness from the management can significantly contribute to a positive and stress-free living experience.
The pricing at FaIcon's Landing was also deemed "very reasonable," making it an even more attractive option for those mindful of their budget while seeking a high-quality RV park experience in the Johnstown area.
Another long-term resident, who had lived at the park for almost three years, directly addressed skepticism towards potentially negative reviews, suggesting they might be the result of "sour grapes." This resident's experience echoed the positive sentiments, describing the staff and management as "nothing spectacular and very helpful and accommodating." They recounted an incident where the staff proactively noticed a water issue with their RV during the winter and shut off the water to prevent further damage, highlighting the staff's attentiveness and proactive approach to resident well-being. This level of service and care is invaluable for RV owners, especially during unexpected issues.
This long-term resident also mentioned practical features such as having a spot with "plenty of room for 2 vehicles," which is a significant advantage for those traveling with multiple vehicles or needing extra space. Furthermore, they noted that the park has "remodeled the bathrooms and laundry room," indicating ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the facilities for the comfort and convenience of the residents. This commitment to upgrades suggests a management that cares about providing a positive living environment.
The long-term resident concluded by expressing their intention to stay at FaIcon's Landing indefinitely and commended Gail and Ginger (another staff member mentioned) for their "great work," suggesting a consistently positive experience over an extended period.
Based on these glowing reviews, FaIcon's Landing RV Park appears to offer a compelling combination of a safe, beautiful, and clean environment, a friendly and supportive community, caring and attentive management, reasonable pricing, and practical amenities. FaIcon's Landing RV Park Reviews
This was my home away from home for 6 months!Very safe and beautiful, clean area, neighbors are quiet and very friendly. I’m a travel nurse and I made lifelong friends here. The pond in the back is so nice to just walk through especially if you have pups!Gail the manager was the sweetest, always on the lookout for everyone. She even checked in on my dog one time when I thought my AC wasn’t functioning while I was at work. All goes to show, she’s a caring individual. Falcons Landing was truly a nice area to live in. Highly recommend. Pricing was very reasonable as well!!
Feb 22, 2025 · Jakkie RangelI’m not sure about some of the reviews on this RV park. It appears to be a lot of sour grapes. I have lived at this park for almost 3 years and the staff and management have been nothing spectacular and very helpful and accommodating. He had some water issue this past winter and the staff noticed it and shut our water off to prevent further issue. That’s what I call amazing for them to do that for us. We have a spot that has plenty of room for 2 vehicles. They have remodeled the bathrooms and laundry room. I feel the only people giving negative reviews are people that will never be happy no matter how nice or how great the accommodations are. Keep up the great work Gail and Ginger and we don’t plan on leaving anytime soon
Apr 15, 2025 · Stroke of LuckOff of I25 and busy location. Beautiful view of mountains and nice lake on property. Spaces are very close and no dog park for the price. Management are very friendly and helpful. Pretty RV park.
Feb 11, 2025 · jo chapmon(Edited Review after the response from the RV Park) I’m sorry our puppy didn’t die at a time that was convenient for your policies. I’m sorry you don’t like this review just because it’s the TRUTH.First off we did not stay here!Three days before our reservation we were on the road and our puppy suddenly passed away of heart failure.I called/emailed to cancel, which they did but refused to refund our money.I understand there are policies but I also know as a compassionate human they could understand that mitigating circumstances happen that cannot be helped like “death”.Not only were we in shock and grieving but also trying to figure out what to do with her body. This business could have had compassion and refunded us but I guess our 400$ was more important to them than compassion and understanding. We often visit Co. for family but I refuse to ever stay here.Looking at other reviews; Good customer service and compassion seem to be an on going issue with this park.
Jun 06, 2024 · Chris BStayed overnight on our trip back from WY to TX. Booked online and checked in late. Gail the manger had our map and spot with a handwritten note attached with directions. Very nice service. We do have a very big rig, 45 ft fifth wheel, and the spaces are very close together. It was difficult to get in and had the person adjacent to us not left before us it would have been near impossible for us to get out. Not big enough sites for our rig and truck, we had to park in overflow parking. The sites are all gravel and not terribly level. Our six point leveling system could only engage four points due to unlevel site. The location is great, but I don’t know that I would call it “big rig friendly”. Also note the majority of campers there look to be long term residents, not vacationers. The facilities look to be new and nice, but we did not have the opportunity to use them.
